its saturday night, im a college student and i have no one to hang out with cause im a loser so im learning this song. thanks man, i love your videos and learning songs with you
Your hard work and big heart resonates with your level of mastery. No one can thank you enough for sharing these invaluable lessons ❤️ lots of love and respect man 💯
Oh HELL yes !!! I'm a huge Jackson C. Frank fan, never would have expected to see this. That man does not get enough love! And now I finally know how to play one of his songs... Thanks as always for the impeccable picks!
Nice job. I also really like Simon & Garfunkel's version they recorded for the 1966 album 'Sounds of Silence.' Fun fact: Paul Simon produced Frank's one and only album.
That was a nice change, you have a unique timbre in your singing voice, which is very pleasant. I 'll give this one a go if for no other reason than my thumb rocking needs some serious work. 😎🎙🎸✅
I also enjoy the sound of worn in acoustic strings. I think it's the sound you expect to hear and I have in the past thought this is because strings weren't so readily available so the only time strings were replaced was when they snapped. It was probably true for the electric guitars too, but perhaps not so obvious to the ear.
@@acpg I know how you feel. It's always a little awkward when I try to sing and play guitar, but I wonder if it actually helps my guitar playing to sing along with song rather than just strum the chords. Anyway, great lesson as usual!!
Please please more of The Smiths tutorials, especially, I don't owe anything, I really want to learn this incredible song, thanks, cheers from Dallas Tx.
Lovely stuff as always! Speaking of lovely stuff would love to see you do some Love! Seven and Seven Is, Alone Again Or, The Red Telephone. Cocteau Twins too, Robin Guthrie is a genius
Hi Adrian, great tutorial as always! I have the same guitar, really organic sound... But I have to admit I almost don't care about string change, which is a shame... any advice about string type for this all mahogany guitar?
Your voice is good!! But I don’t know why I know this song, I don’t think it’s because of Nick Drake , got to look up who else has done this. Thanks. It is great

"Hell is other people"...I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday night..so not a loser..you've got a friend for life with a guitar.
👌👌👌❤️
One of the most beautiful songs ever written. Wonderful to see it here - thank you.
Great job capturing this iconic blues song.

I'll definitely be looking up Jackson Frank and the othe names mentioned. Thanks for the lessons✌️👏👏👏❤️❤️🇬🇧🇯🇲

Nice job. I also really like Simon & Garfunkel's version they recorded for the 1966 album 'Sounds of Silence.'

I know Simon and Garfunkel performed this song but it’s not on sound of silence album.
So good. Thank you so much for doing this.
Did not know you sang as well. Great vid Adrian.
This is a great version too. This is the first video where I heard your voice. You did it proud.
Can't wait to take a crack at this all time beauty. PS: nice voice
Yeeeeeeeees, thank you! I love this song so much, but have never bothered to learn it, but now I will
Beautiful Addy! Just beautiful!
👍🇦🇺
Wow, just wow! One of my favorite tunes
Love this channel so much. Would love to see some thrashier punk and metal lessons, particularly things with that gallop style picking.
Lovely song. I enjoyed it and will attempt to play it. Thank you for sharing.
Jackson is so very underrated
Sung beautifully, with elegance and feeling. A gift of a lesson on a objet d'art of a guitar.✨🎸✨
Sounded great on the played-in strings and I love the mahogany. Another terrific choice.
Jackson C Frank inspired me to play the guitar. I'm gonna try to nail this
Very nice, I love your folk lessons :))
Thank you for turning me onto another awesome tune! I've decided to make finger picking a priority this year.
That was a nice change, you have a unique timbre in your singing voice, which is very pleasant.

😎🎙🎸✅
U got a really nice voice, great song
C. Frank is a legend
Awesome! I've been trying to figure out how to play this for ages!
A guy who can play almost anything! 🤓🤟
Fantastic video Adrian!
Brown Bunny soundtrack and the mid 00s ‘freak folk’ craze!
Adrian love your lesson and your website 🎸

Excellent stuff thanks
Great song, thanks for this.
Great singing!
Love this.
Gracias ❤❤❤
Great playing
Great vocals, Adrian! You really got the feel on this. Bittersweet.
Thanks, yes I'm not what you'd call a proper singer, but can just about do folky stuff like this...

Just great.

Btw thanks to you I know now how to play other Smiths songs, I'm huge fan of them.
@@victorsantiesteban2825 Mate look up Alison Bennett on UA-cam. Loads of Smiths tutorials. 👍
@@alanrenshaw5497 hey thanks Mate! I just checked her channel and it’s great
@@victorsantiesteban2825 You're welcome. She must be good just to even transcribe Marr's great works. Let alone play most of them.
Great personal touch,my good man.Jackson's lyrics are poignant;easily on par with the great songwriters.
Nice one buddy !!
ah the dulcet tones of the teacher. nice.
Lovely stuff as always! Speaking of lovely stuff would love to see you do some Love! Seven and Seven Is, Alone Again Or, The Red Telephone. Cocteau Twins too, Robin Guthrie is a genius
Excellent! Will you do some John Martyn in the future?
Really nice one, Adrian. I see your "beckoning cats" are waving again. Cheers, mate!! :)
Yes, changed the batteries!
Maneki-neko
Lovely Adrian. I wasn't at all familiar with Jackson C Frank. Guitar style is really similar to John Moreland.
Nice song, thank you. Very similar to Mark Knopfler's Get Lucky.
Hi Adrian, great tutorial as always! I have the same guitar, really organic sound... But I have to admit I almost don't care about string change, which is a shame... any advice about string type for this all mahogany guitar?
Nice
He sings!!!
I like your shirt
yes, the pockets have that old west W pattern.
Love you, your playing, not so much the song, oh well, carry on mate! Maybe that's why I never heard of him Frank nor the song. Learned something!
I was listening to the album about 2 hours ago. Coincidence or what?
Also, Jackson was Sandy Denny's boyfriend for a while.
His girl friend Sandy Denny's early version of it was pretty Good.
Your voice is good!! But I don’t know why I know this song, I don’t think it’s because of Nick Drake , got to look up who else has done this. Thanks. It is great
Ah, think it might be the Simon and Garfunkel version
