If the charging handle is pulled all the way back, the bolt-release cannot be engage, user has to manually slap the handle forward. If the charging handle is not used at all then the thing locks open automatically with every empty reload. Pretty cool and it honestly has a better H&K slap than the actual H&K guns in the game. The Striker-45 (not UMP45) even has the audacity to include bolt-release catch, heresy!. 11:07 This ladies and gents, is why I dislike depictions of the G36/XM8 rifles in most FPS games and on IRL modern models. They almost always omit a very special feature of the G36/XM8 is that they do have a bolt-release button, it's located right in front the trigger in the form of a tiny button for the G36 and a lever-like one for the XM8. That feature was designed for this exact situation, yet the operator still arkwardly pull the charging handle because in this game that button doesn't exist (thanks California). The only modern game I know of that depicts the G36/XM8 correctly is ironically Battlefield 2042. 12:29 I love how instead of making stuffs up with extended magazines for the Katt-AMR (Steyr HS50), the magazines just keep getting comically bigger. Looks hilarious as hell.
@@alanproch Oh yes I totally forgot about the 30rd Mag on the Holger I really wished they did all the way to the end in term of accuracies. The bolt-release button is the only thing that is "right" about it, everything else was just horribly done to dogde H&K copyrights. But thanks man, kinda make me research a bit there and I love that, another one to the list.
For the g36 style rifles it’s probably because using the bolt release would be boring/people don’t know where it is. And the charging handle is kinda unique looking
Credit to SHG here, these sounds and animations are for the most part on par with MW2022. I know some anims and sounds are reused from that game but they’re still really good
No not really, since there isn't any empty inspects for the new guns, and sure you can say sledgehammer improved with the sound design and animations, but they still aren't at the same level as infinity ward, although credit where credit is due the animations are still very good.
As someone who played with these guns, i wanna say, the animations are still as quality as usual, but the sounds feels unifished and sometimes, i feel the gun models "hollow", idk if someone have that feeling also.
I’m still disappointed that to this very day CoD animators are not doing akimbo reload animations properly 😕. I guess it’s okay for warden kit and there is actually quite nice tec9 akimbo reload, but other akimbo guns are... lacking of a normal reload animation
