I have been collaborating by giving other developers branches. Is this a better approach? It seems like this is better for open collaboration where you want anyone to come be able to grab code. But if I am hiring developers seems like I have more control by using branches.

Great video but what if Person1 makes changes later, should Person2 create another fork or how will he get latest files? Can you explain this for example where P1 adds another file and P2 wants to add a file too. Is another fork required?
