Tarja looked like she really loves this song! You could feel it. I haven't seen her have this much fun since the beginning of Nightwish, and even then not this much! She's loving it and it spreads to everyone. I miss seeing her like this, and other musicians like this rather than being all serious all the time. She looks like she loves the band, loves being onstage so much that she just can't contain it! Tarja looks like she is performing for both her own and the crowds (and bands) enjoyment, and is loving every second of it. :) But i do wonder where she went off to at the end....

I agree. I think you sorta need a bit of mischevious evilness(?) in the voice to match this song... as much as I love Tarja's voice... it doesn't have that. I haven't seen a good cover of Poison yet :(

This is a very different interpretation of a classic Cooper song. Overall, I think it is pretty good, but I definitely think she was better off in Nightwish. I am not going to comopare her with Annette, two totally different styles. Good luck to both of them.
Well, I like Tarja but I actually think that she couldn't replace Tuomas just because even if Tarja was Nightwish's front(wo)man and symbol, Tuomas IS Nightwish, is not just a musician at the service of the singer but the soul of the band!

actually that cover of Tori Amos take on Smells Like Teen Spirit. Technically, what she did at that fashion show was a cover by association. personally, I think she has a beautiful voice and an amazing talent, but she's in the wrong genre. I think she would be so much better off if she sticks with operas and traditional Christmas carols.

I'd like recommend performing doom metal to Tarja as slow beat and heavy guitar are better match for her voice.
