The internet is the best for finding how to fix things or how other people have fixed the exact issue. If you’re not afraid to fix things there is so much help on the internet. Props to you for doing the repairs.
Totally agree. The internet is so amazing. I really had no idea on how to fix many things on the RV but YT videos, forums, etc are really invaluable. And you’re right, it’s not lack of knowledge that usually stops us, it’s fear.
Hi, I have a problem with Philips 55” TV, it turns on, shows Philips, works fine for a minute or sometimes longer and then screen gets filled with colorful lines both horizontal and vertical. I tried cleaning all the connections and checked the wires and looked at capacitors for a blown one but didnt find anything. What can I do to fix it? You are my last hope..
I think a numbers breakdown would be interesting. Such as the cost of the RV, What you spent to rehab it, the cost of your trip (fuel, etc). Compared to what you think a similar trip would cost staying in hotels and eating out. I suspect you saved thousands doing it the way you did.
I agree. I think a RV fixer up is only necessary and would pay off only if you travel a lot or you’re thinking of living in it full time - otherwise, I don’t think it’s worth it.
Depends if you like eating the garbage crap soybean oil at restaurants or whether you want to pull Costco steaks and ground beef out of your freezer in your RV. There is no possible way to eat non-corporate slop if you stay at hotels, even going to 'high end' restaurants.
How did you fill up on freshwater? Fill up with a garden hose before the trip? But after that, how do you do it. Don’t have an rv so It could be a dumb question
Great question. Yes, there is a garden hose inlet and we used a filter on the hose. Every few days or so we stopped at RV parks to dump/fill up, get internet, etc. There were some other places you can fill/dump that don’t require a stay.
A compressor driven fridge would definitely be an upgrade over the electric heat/propane style fridge. I don't know how committed we are to keeping the RV but that is on my mind.
hello sir, can i use your video clip as part of my content, it's all about solar panels on roof, hoping for your kind consideration, rest assured that credits to the rightful owner are on the description of my video. thank you, good day.
Excuse me sir iPhone Sony they told me if I factory reset my telly it will get rid of a couple of lines that are horizontal on my telly is this fact or fiction I know you're an expert ibegin answer
No, it won’t help, unless there is something I don’t know about. Watch my videos on how to get rid of horizontal lines. They are the one using tape to fix the tv. I don’t think a reset will do anything.
I knew so nearer lying to me thank you for your honesty I'm too scared to open the telly and do it myself it does any way you could give me some confidence and tell me the right tools to buy I'll do it but I'm just scared because it cost me so much money but thank you for my help thank you for your help brother
Why do you say that? Which one(s) do you own? I've had a smaller unit for over a year and a half that gets used most days. Based on my experience with the one I already own, I'll likely end up with the Delta Pro.
Thanks for watching! Would you want to take an RV cross-country with your family?
Go Rhys!!! You're awesome! Miss you guys!!

you probably could have gotten a new fridge that would be way more efficient with power
A compressor driven fridge would definitely be an upgrade over the electric heat/propane style fridge. I don't know how committed we are to keeping the RV but that is on my mind.
@@FrugalRepair haha yeah just an idea, i went from my old air conditioner to a new one and it was like 50x more efficient with power
