As a 43 year old male I've been depressed about the direction my life is going. My daughter sent me this song and it makes me emotional EVERY TIME I listen to it. The lyrics of, "Keep it up and go on. You're only holding out for what you want. You no longer owe the strangers. I know it's so frustrating It's enough; kept it up!" gets me! I thank God for this song and thankful my daughter sent it to me.

I feel like theres a good deal pf orchestral influences in alt music now, i remember when his last album came out AJR'S neotheater and Half-Alive's Now, Not Yet came out around the same time and they were all so orchestral, and Saint Motel's Original Motion Picture Soundtrack or whatever that's called also was very orchestral esp in the first part. So it seems to work for a lot of bands!

At the time Pony came out, I was having a low in terms of my mental health but "10/10" was basically what I held on to to keep on going. Apricot Princess also carried me through 2018.
