    Koc yang ada walaupun dijaga tetapi sudah tua. Koc generator elektrik sudah berkarat dan mudah terbakar. Mungkin koc ini akan tinggal kenangan apabila keretapi guna elektrik seperti ETS sksn beroperasi. Terima kasih Daniel, tidak semua orang sanggup jadi seperti Daniel.......

    Ya Sdra Daniel, tahniah atas kejayaan merakam video ini akhirnya..betul tu pengiraan Sdra mengenai rakaman terakhir video Sdra di landasan tunggal..tiada rancangankah dlm masa terdekat ini utk rakaman perjalanan dgn ETS balik Utara?     Looks so scary. If you really notice the track which is approaching Kluang Station from North is really crucket. While the locomotive approaches the station can really see that its shacking. Anyway what I got to know is the tracks from Gemas till JB is going to be entirely new as the double tracking project is under progress.

      It's known as a wye switch. This (i think) is the only wye switch on KTMB mainline.

    Where was the empty rake that had two 25 class at each end between 21:09 to 22:26 going to when it goes to JB Sentral
    I think that is an extra Shuttle Tebrau

    Nice video!
    I'm planning a trip to Malaysia this year, and I'm quite curious:
    Will I really be fined if I open the doors when the train is moving?
    And can I enter a station without a train ticket?

      +郑仁杰 Don't open the door on double track sections, or when the train is moving above 15kph hahaha.... More importantly, don't do it under the eyes of the train guards :) For double-track stations, only those having tickets can enter the platform (except Kuala Lumpur Old Station's Platform 1). For single-track stations like Kluang; Kempas Baru, you don't need a ticket.

    Seems to me that the track section between kluang and kempas uses concrete sleepers instead of wood. When were the sleepers replaced ?

      2005, in conjunction with the commencement of the operation of Blue Tiger locomotives on the KTM West Coast Line.

    At mengkibol, there'an extra siding on the left of the track as you go south. What that extra siding for?

      Looking south, Mengkibol has a electrically protected loop line on the right, and a loop siding with manual switches on the left. These loop lines were used for unloading gypsum back when the Merapoh - Mengkibol gypsum train was still running. When that service ended in around agak-agaknya 2013, both stations fell into disuse. Mengkibol was particularly hit hard as there were no passenger train that stops here.

      +elleooi Looks like a spur line to me, yes, a dead end siding. There could have been some previous use for it though.

      Hehe, check my northern sector videos. The container trains between Padang Besar - Butterworth gives KTMB a significant amount of revenue :)

      KTM ada gerabak yang ada tempat solat, tapi tak pasti pulak jenis gerabak tu ada di semua tren...

      No idea. Can't even be sure whether the British built it this way before the 1995 upgrades, or was modified after. But one of the advantages of Y point is that the train can go into the loop line at a higher speed than is possible using the normal branching point.

      Yes. A lot of things happened in 1995... token system replaced, some small stations closed down, loop lines lengthened etc

    Why the tracks are all so senget? bengkang-bengkok already. Isn't KTMB doing anything about their tracks? definitely the train rides will not be smooth at all.

      That is why there is a 50km/h speed limit in force at that particular section of track. KTMB's answer to this track problem is the Johor Double Tracking Project.

    Kenapa Pengurusan KTMB tidak membeli enjin enjin lokomotif yang rupabentuk cantik seperti enjin kelas 20(1957 dan 1960an),enjin kelas 22 dan enjin kelas 24.
    Rupabentuk enjin di video ni tidak cantik.
