Hecate is of course from an entirely different theological/mythological tradition separate from and pre dating the abrahamic traditions.

what a fantastic idea. You did a marvelous job! In Melissa's original talk she explains how Hekate took over Melissa's calling to the goddess Herself. I think it is at 1:53 here where it goes from Melissa invoking Hekate to Hekate speaking as Herself in 1st person point of view.

i appreciate that thank you. ya i tried to be respectful and mindful of the concepts and intention behind this. so as part of the creative process i would go camping on full moons, equinox /solstice, eclipse especially, and watch the sun rise and set. as you beautifully described light threshold drug experiences (psychedelics/poppy tea/cannabis/cocaine/etc). and for me the most important part is the music. layers and layers of drone and instruments, detuned fuzzed out roaring guitar. the band sunn o))) was a massive inspiration.
