Amanda: although a year has passed, I hope you are are feeling healthy after your heart surgery. The pillow certainly is a comfort hugging the pillow. This is a beautiful pillow, but I’d like to crochet it with 3 ply yarn. The recommended yarn is a bit too thick ( mho) I think it would turn out smaller though. Do you have any ideas how I can make it to be the same dimensions? I have a problem figuring it out. Thanks in advance if you read this. Many good days ahead for you as you completely heal ❤
Making this for my friend for Valentine's, with a few changes. I made it half a light pink, and the other half is darker, then I used white yarn to attach them, and it's so cute!!
Thank you for this tutorial, easy to follow and the result is awesome.i made one for my auntie.i embroidered the first letter of her name with beads on the heart.it came out very nice and she loved it so much.i will make one for myself too

Omg thank you so much for typing this out. I was just about to write it all down to put into my pattern keeper app and you've saved me so much time! It's appreciated so much 😊
i'm making this in a beautiful pink color for my new room. this is my first amigurumi and its coming out so well! your instructions are so clear and easy to follow! thank you so much!!
Hello, I have gotten onto the 13 crotchet mark and I keep repeating as either the loops are too small and difficult to get into or the loops twist and clump together. (Not really far) I am a beginner and I end up not getting a flat piece of yarn rather a ball of 3D twisted yarn! Any advice? How are you able to keep each stitch uniform and tidy?
Do you have a free print for this pattern on your website? Because it's hard doing it without looking at the picture while watching the video. I always keep forgetting what row I'm in.
By row 4 how do you go from a total of 15 stitches, increase one and suddenly that’s 17 stitches? There’s a few spots like this that don’t make sense and my project is getting all kinds of confusing and messed up…… can anyone help? I see so much this is so easy to follow and the math in my head isn’t making sense. 15+1=17????????
I made a pillow and it turned out great. I had the exact same problem to understand it at first: when she writes for example „Sc 15“ I had 16. So with the increase I had 17 just as it should be. So I nearly always had one more but what matters is the number after the increase if you have that right you should be fine. Hope it helps! What matters are the total Stiches always count them!
Hello nice people: I requested ( want an idea) if anyone here would try to help me figure out if this pillow would come out smaller if I use 3 ply yarn. The 8 ply is too thick . Thanks in advance.
Am not understanding the point of the dots after some chains. What does that mean? For example when it she said single crochet 15… but increase by 1 creating 17 stitches cut how ? Do I use the chain less stitch method ?
Could I get the written pattern for this? When you get to row 10, 11 and 12 it doesn’t make sense to me that you go from 28 down to 27 and then back up to 29 without a decrease? Please explain. Thank you 😊
I’m super confused too…. I followed the video and my pillow piece is waaaay messed up. I even started to just follow the video and not count stitches and it is still messed up…….
Hi 🤗.. based on my experience, t-shirt yarn can be used to make this heart pillow, but the final result may be stiff. I recommend you use bulky yarn for this project, or use 2 strands of yarn and bigger crochet hook.
The size depends on the yarn size you use and the crochet hook size. For instance, hers is a little bit bigger than her hand. Mine is bigger than my head.
My stitches seem to be so much more loose than yours and I don't know why. I was also wanting to use thicker yarn, so what would you suggest? Which hook and what weight yarn? I'm pretty close to a beginner and just am not sure what the right thing to do is.
most yarn when you buy it has the recommended hook size on the packaging! if you want to use a thicker yarn i’d suggest a size 6 hook as that’s my usual go to
I truly hate seeing this opinion LOL plenty of people make “crochet a long” videos- they’re 3 hours long and 10+ videos per project because crochet is a time consuming task… making an edited UA-cam video is a time consuming, impressive and altogether different skill; there’s podcasts available if you want a non-pausing, unedited 3 hour long explanation of what you’re doing to baby you through each step of the process. I’d try to appreciate the fact that this person took time and effort to share any of this on UA-cam at all because it is free for us to find and use. At least that’s the way I see it; no need to be negative to someone who is sharing their work just because you can’t find the content you’re actually wanting to watch. Hope this helps!
Thank you. My friend just had heart surgery and I’m told that it helps to hug a pillow if you have to cough post-surgery. So thank you. ❤️
Beautiful!!💗🥺
that is so cute, you are such a lovely friend

Row 18 has a typo idk if u could fix that but I’m a perfectionist and thought u should know (it should say sc 30 instead of ch 30)👍

The best tutorial for heart pillow :) can I ask how much of yarn did you use for the pillow ? Greetings :)
How many yards of yarn does this take? I want to make sure I have enough
This heart is nicely shaped for its size. I enjoy your amigurumi. Is there any way you could make an elephant?

hey! love the pattern ive made 4 pillows now!
That’s great 🥰🥰🥰 thank you 😊

How do I make it into a bigger heart - for example if I want the cushion to be double the size in the video?
Awesome pattern. In case, if I have to repeat the steps for increasing the size of the heart, which row numbers should I repeat? Please reply.
For some reason the sides of my heart aren’t turning out the same

What is the size of this pillow? If you could tell me in centimetres or inches it will help me before I go for this project..
very cue pillow. what is the size of this npillow
The size depends on the yarn size you use and the crochet hook size. For instance, hers is a little bit bigger than her hand. Mine is bigger than my head.

I used about 80 grams of yarn (thick, hook 5.0mm).

Whats the exact size of this pillow ??
Hello 🤗 . I love your tutorials. Can you do bt21 face pillow ? Please ? 🥺. I want to do it but I don't know how 🥺🤧 . I'm new in crocheting 🥺🤗

does anyone know how many grams of yarn this needs?
Hi Megan, for this heart pillow crochet, I used less than 1 skein of Caron Simply Soft worsted-weight yarn.

What's the size
Row 18 (11:50) it says CH but you meant SC... just saying. I’m making a couple of these! 😍👍

Something must be wrong because the first steps aren't the same with the last ones... Can you please give us the right pattern? Thank you!
جميل جدا اتمنى أن يكون في ترجمة عربي
That doesnt work, chain 8, sc 7 start 2nd from the chain, #2 chain 3 sc 9? theres only 7 loops !
They had said to add 3 chains, 7+3=10, then u start from the second chain which is the 9th so ur doing 9 sc (hope that made sense)
It would be great if you made a written pattern for this. One I can follow by reading not watching.
What’s the point of a silent tutorial? I need my eyes to be able to look at what I’m doing not read for half an hour
