Memories. Childhood. Being young. Playing those revolutionary Amiga games for the first time. Great days.
Really conveys the melancholy of a man turned beast, robbed of his literal humanity and on a quest to reclaim it
The beast in part one was a female one.
@@AuleDreizehn A man named Aarbron is kidnapped as a child and corrupted through magic into a monstrous warrior-servant for the evil beast lord Maletoth.
Respect for turning such a complex song into just a piano interpretation !!!
Sweet, took me back to 7 year old me playing this first time!
One of the most memorable melodies in computer game history. Great adaption!
Just day dreamed myself away, 30 years in my past, while listening to this great piano interpretation. I will listen to it again tomorrow in the office, while doing my job as software engineer. I usually listen to music while working... Music is like fuel for creativity and writing code is the essence of being creative. I think I will listen to this song a couple of times in the next days. It is dreamful and powerful at the same time...
Glad that you like my performance, Roy! Have a great creative (work)week!
I fully agree with you, exactly same feeling here. I really want this game to be performed by a full scale orchestra. This piano version is really well done.
It's the same for me, except I'm a hardware engineer :). Music is like a brain massage between 2 bursts of thinking.
gorgeous, nostalgic for a period I didn't even know.
My cat loves watching you play this.
I accidentally found out she likes piano music a few weeks ago and she gets so happy whenever I put it on for her. She actually *SCREAMED* at me last week or the week before, because I turned it off before she had enough.
I can't stop listening this and other legendary Amiga-game musics in your amazing piano-versions.
great soundtrack on the Amiga, this was brilliant.
New here, thank you so much for this (these!) wonderful playing and although I admit that I am usuall a bit of a purist (most renditions and theme adaptions are missing the mod or tracker ability and just fall short of the original magic) this kept everything in and enhanced it!
Some slightly odd timing in the bars in this song (again mod music can get away with it always!) but these flowed past fantastically as if you were David himself playing it, knowing how to overcome the piano transition, and you kept all that in just a few octaves as well! I think we all here distant panpipes to this, we just cannot get that sound linked to this song out of our memories haha. Brilliant!
Thanks so much again Grazia!
Well then. That was no less than an utterly fantastic take on a totally unique gaming experience of old. Bravo.
Thanks, Nathan!
One of the most amazing video games EVER, none will match its general atmosphere. I personally love it and your piano version is just as great ! Complimenti Grazie ! I've just read your interview on Passione Amiga, great talent !
Thank you, Michele!
My favorite tune from the game, thanks for this awesome representation!
I've played this so many times now because it's so good. Thank you. I love the music from that game and you have played it so amazingly on the piano. I admire you a lot. Thank you.
Played so much of this game. Love your rendition of this music takes me back to summer days of my youth trying to finish the game...good times.
This is just wonderful. I've listened to covers of this theme in different styles and this is simple yet beautiful. 🤩
Thank you, I appreciate it.
I mean... I didn't know I missed this. Heck, I barely remember the existence of anything called SotB. But.. I floated away. Hard and far, far away. At one minute mark I lost it. I love this. Thank you!
Thanks for watching, Matti!
OMG! So good sweet memories! Thank you!!
My pleasure :-)
Damn that melody is real catchy, loved the chord progression as well. Your performance was too good 💯👏🎶
Thank you, Asher, I'm glad you like it :-)
I can actually visualize the game in my head listening to this. You are awesome!
Thank you, Joseph!
Awesome piano version.
Found your channel a couple of weeks ago! Awesome! If you are taking requests, the more amiga games the better! :-)
Thank you! What are your favourite Amiga game music tracks?

Incredible! Adaptation after adaptation you continue to improve every songs you choose. Never thought how this theme could have been so great with a piano! But you did it!! Thanks again, Grazia, for this wonderful piece of unforgetable and sublimed memories!
Amiga classic game🤩😍
goosebumps 🙌
Awesome! Amiga4ever!
Beutiful!!! Thanks for sharing, i love this game
Maybe the best song of the Amiga. And your version is even better. Thanks a lot, I can't stop listening :)
Meraviglioso!❤
Bravissima, favolosa!❤🌷👏
Grazie!
Impressive. This is a tough one.
A chill went through my whole body.
I wonder how you got into these games. Not usual for a girl like you.
Thank you for watching, Tomáš! I'll have to write this story down in more detail someday. In a nutshell: Chris Hülsbeck's sheet music book "The Piano Collection" was my introduction to the world of retro game music. Thanks to you viewers, I keep learning about new great music.
@@GraziaPizzuto Thanks for a piece of your history:)
He is very talented, he is such a Hanz Zimmer of the gaming scene.
The Amiga was one of the first computers you could compose real music on. I understand that composers grew up on it. My brother composes film music because of it.
BTW if you don't know what piano cover to do next, listen to the ingame music from Settlers, it's long and continuous, unlike other computer music which tends to be repetitive. Very nice and appropriate for piano.
Thanks so much for writing back, I really appreciate your talent, you made my day:)
@Tomáš Konvička Thank you for your suggestion, I really appreciate it and will be very happy to listen to the music of "Settlers"!
Wonderful!
Bravo
Wunderschön gespielt, liebe Grazia!
Danke, Maria!
"Inside, a winding staircase descends into ..."
Let's be honest, this game was the answer to the question "Which one is better, Atari or Amiga". And BTW I owned the former...
Amazing
Wow
Fantastic !!!! Thanks a lot 🙂
Thanks for watching!
Bravissima, incredibile di sentirlo sull piano forte. Adesso mancha solltanto "land of karamoon" di shadow of the beast 2 ;)
Awesome !!! I love this game and u2, nice work Ms. Grazia !
Thank you for watching! What other games do you like?
This is just so good. Absolutely magic.
Perfect!
Thanks for listening!
Great adaptation and interpretation.
Thank you!
Perfect
Thank you:-)
You are amazing! This tune really caught my attention on the Amiga too! ❤
celestiale! grande Grazia!
Ti ringrazio molto :-)
❤
Well done !

Bravissima 😘
Grazie mille per il vostro continuo ascolto!
@@GraziaPizzuto ascoltò volentieri 😘
🥰
I knew this music by heart, I think it was the first level of the game. How gloomy this game was, but I played it a lot
Una delle mie canzoni preferite in assoluto. Dai videogiochi ne fanno parte questa, G'n'G del Commodore 64, Magical Sound Shower, ed un paio abbondante di brani da Silent Hill 2 e 4
Selezione interessante, Alessandro! Ascolteró questi brani per farmi un idea:-)
@@GraziaPizzuto onoratissimo
Way better than the original!!
Thank you, Marco!
No errors in execution, but something is missing. I think it has something with some note lasting, perhaps timing. It's good, though, but the guy with banjo and more instruments performing Turrican feels the melody much better
Thanks for your feedback! Yes, my version is different from the original. This time I chose a free tempo for certain passages and transitions.
I'm in the midst of trying to buy this game and parts 2and 3 in their big box format so I can have them on the shelf forever. How come this piece of music was on your radar? I've been listening to a recording I took of the game for years and then finally someone out better quality recordings on UA-cam a few years back. Quality. Thx
Thanks for watching! My viewers recommended the music from Shadow of the Beast.
@@GraziaPizzuto they were right.

Please, consider to play the tune "The pond" from Apidya or others from that game...
adding this video in Commodore FB page..... do you have the notes to share so that we can make it a challenge to other people with several instruments?
Sure, I added a link to the sheet music in the description of the video. Note that in the video I improvised some parts.
What is the exact name of the Facebook group?
Heilo Grazia ☺ Here is link about David Whittaker and list over soundtracks of different games he have compose music to en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Whittaker_(video_game_composer)
Amazing Grazia ! keep on doing more piano covers ! Can you work on a cover for this wonderful Amiga game soundtracks? »»» ua-cam.com/video/oC_qqr7cv90/v-deo.html
