Yo sorry bro I know these videos are old one more question. I got same headers and it melted my fan and is pressing against my ac line making it hot I didn’t install them previous owner did but just wondering if you had to tweak it
Mine cleared fans and ac lines with no issue. You may want to look into some exhaust wrap to help prevent fans/lines from melting if they are too close to headers
Another option is to get a cheap, Aftermarket replacement cat, Not the original cat, but one that is straight, mount it afterwards & extend the o2 lines. It's way cheaper, Like $20.BUX VS THE $160. OR WHATEVER FOR A FACTORY REPLACEMENT BUT, The point is to do away with all restrictions! Use spark arrestors on the 2nd/ rear o2 sensor, It should shut the light off! If you use a spark arrestor & attch to the exhaust pipe somewhere, weld a o2 bung & use the spark arrestor in between the o2 & the bung & you can attach anywhere where your rear o2 sensor reaches but, be sure to keep the same angle that the factory o2 had. I just realized that yours has the 5 speed! Cool! Your brake fluid is also your clutch fluid! Damb ford & the single cylinder master cylinder, putting lives at risk!!! One leak & NO BRAKES!!!!!!!!!!! & SMOKE THE CLUTCH ALL AT ONCE! I had a rear brake line go out, & the master ran dry---FUN, FUN!!!!!!!!!
Look into a spark arrester to mount between the exhaust & the o2's. They were used between spark plugs & the engine on other vehicles but, you might have to drill the arrestor out, or get 2 for each o2, or the one that you have space for, the cat o2. Another option to consider, run 2 spark arrestor's, drill one out so the o2 can fit threw. Just an idea... Since you have access to a shop now, Have you considered swapping in a svt motor? Or individual throttle bodies (itbs)???
Have not dyno'd the car as of yet. I would recommend a couple glasspacks to replace the resonator and muffler canister on aftermarket system. It will dampen the sound and keep same performance.
I have the same color
On my wife’s account here but was just wondering do you have to have it tuned after installing the headers
I ended up getting an Sct tuner afterwards

@@mercury0214 hard to say since i have never seen your car or worked on it. It could be something simple or something more severe.
