Sheep are definitely the more well behaved of animals, they hardly squirmed at all during the shearing. Alot of animals would squirm like crazy when holding them down, it wouldn't matter if you're not actually hurting them.
Yeah sheep are awesome though i find that for a good amount of animals such as alpacas, angora goats an rabbits and llamas tend to due better with sheering if the sheerer gets to know his or her wooly customer read their body language and not make them feel like omg im being attacked the two legged creatures are gonna bite my throat,legs,rear or testicles out or off ya know? That and dont let their tantrums or tactics get to you as its the animal who doesnt understand whats going on trying to scare u away but as long as your safely persistant and keep shearing maybe calmly talk to them as you go it wont reinforce bad behavior alpacas and llamas are very intelligent and retain such encounters . Practice makes perfect with such creatures an silly enough some of em will pout an lay down and refuse to stand and just let u shear them like that
