I have never seen someone so intelligent regarding knowledge of the game refer to a set without having a pocket pair. I was taught hitting a set you must have a pair in your hole cards, while having one card matching a paired board for 3 of a kind is trips.
Thank you for the love Pranci. In weak and/or low stakes games you will be in more multi-way pots. You're right that you will have bad players outkicked some of the time with top pair. If you're in position, you might even get 3 streets of value. As an aside, the majority of poker advice speaks to HU or 3 way pots. If you're in games with >3 on the flop, I would suggest reading Ed Miller's Small Stakes Hold Em
thx for the upload. The coherent vids that i've viewed so far will definitely improve my game, and aid me in moving up.Greatly looking forward to your other vids. cheers n good luck.
A cbet is a continuation bet, its a bet you make on the flop when you were the pre-flop aggressor without mattering the card you have. Check you his video on it!
when there are 3 suited cards on flop and we don't have 4th suited card... chance that opponent has flush or flush draw are lower then 50% 1 - (37/47 * 36/46) = 38.4%
Your videos are very good. I have a question though. Do dry boards gain value in a small stakes or loose game becasue many players choose to play weak Aces or Kings like K6 or A8 therefore hitting two pair on the flop more often.
Anyone got any ideas as to why A and K high flops are considered dry? Surely, given that many players like to plays aces and kings, these flops are likely to connect regularly. Seems like a dangerous flop to bluff on.

its a set if u are already holding a pair and u hit the third card its trips if u hold 1 car and the other 2 come down

I wouldn't consider KJ4 a dry flop, but great video otherwise. keep up the good work.
So basically ......Bet the dry boards, bet the pair boards, bet the flush boards, and only value bet the wet boards. So bet bet bet and bet
love the terminology man! lol
thanks. this helps a lot.
The chances of your opponent not having a heart aren't 50%, it's less since there are 3 less hearts our opponent can have.
I wanna do a parody to you haha
Is this guy Jason mercier? His voice is exactly the same
