Blood Swamps is such a metal af level
Unfortunately a lot of folks overlook the fact that 90% of the arenas in Blood Swamps are flat, and then go on to complain about the flatness of TAG2. It's a great level and it's challenging, but it's not THAT well-designed.
@@GameJunkyard11 There are two major arenas in Blood Swamps and I think both are extremely well done. It’s not really an immora type level though you know? It’s got a lot more ‘gimmick encounters’. The cqc wolf in the fog segment was so cool and it’s got some cool platforming as well. The only thing I don’t like about it is the Trial of Maligog, it’s just kinda boring tbh.
@@baalgar5530 Of course it's an awesome level with well-done short gimmick fights and both the big arenas are awesome, but the sentinel wolf section was kinda meh to be honest. The alternate path blows it out of the water. Even World Spear and Reclaimed Earth had some great fights that are better than the wolf section imo.
@@GameJunkyard11 btw I recommend swapping to Full auto combat shotgun on the wolf path, it makes it so much more fun

I love when someone is so good at the game they just start making their own moves 🤣 like legit 80% of the stuff you do you discovered.
Was about to say you’re an inspiration but I could never do this shit on console well at least the punch swapping (except for sticky bombs) and the BATS stuff.

@@the_mse you know and I swear am not bullshitting it when I say this it was Sylar that made decide that I was done on consoles and switch over to PC.
When I got doom on the PS4 I immediately fell in love with it soo much but it was sylar and lightning break gameplay videos that made me realize how much I was missing by not playing it on my PC.
Honestly, if you've got the money for it and you still have that passion for doom eternal I would say go for it and get a high end pc you won't regret it. Other than being able to elevate your gameplay when you put it in the effort, the mods and customization will be a great experience for you as well.
I really liked the bit where you said "it's swampin' time" and swamped all over their blood
Your gameplay is just so hypnotizing to watch. Feels like a river and you are going down the flow even if the situation becomes difficult. Also love the way you use both mods of plasma rifle. Keep it up man.

@@sylar1313 no no...not dumb at all...its just that i don't have the talent or feel that you have even if i had good keybinds...i can't see it the way you do...the level of decision making along with the mechanics and speed is just on another level and so amazing to watch

It seems to me that in the master levels on the nightmare, doom becomes almost the most skill-dependent game in the world, if you don’t take into account the games that 2 Chinese can complete and which are created in this very China for just 2 Chinese. And I am pleased with the fact that I can also do this, albeit with difficulty + not nearly as beautifully as Sylar. Here the skill is really almost absolute.

You are such an inspiration man i managed to learn punch swap tech on console and how to B hop i still dont know how to punch swap sticky grenades maybe the higher fps makes the timing window easier?
sticky punch timing is a little odd for sure, I'm not sure how much it can depend on fps honestly. Just practise it it'll become natural at some point
@@sylar1313 Yeah i suppose my guess is that the timing window to press the "Shotgun swap key" is just really specific and thats why i am not getting it
@@heliax9924 sticky bombs are the only exception to the rule actually: you don't need to press the shotgun key, it's just punches
@@sylar1313 HUH? oh that actually may be helpful my guess is that it depends on the weapon you swapped before you started doing the punchs like the fastest swap method is one shot from the heavy cannon
Also do you punch first and then shoot a sticky bomb or do you shoot a sticky bomb and then start punching ?

Sir, I dare you to ultra-nightmare the world spear master level with anny's unbalaned randomizer mod on.
When I played it, there was an encounter where I had to fight 12 super heavies at once with barely any ammo and fodders to regenerate. It was harder than Unreclaimed Earth by IDK929
good point, I don't remember if I ever played that one and Mars Core unbalanced rando, probably not. If that's the case I'll definitely play it at some point

@@sylar1313 Actually, scratch that - regarding just the 2 Hell on Earth master levels, what do you think of those?
@@knowledgeanddefense1054 I didn't play them, I know that one is probably unbalanced with a lot of possessed demons, the other is likely easier. So again, it depends what kind of mods you prefer
@@sylar1313 I like having to deal with lots of super-heavies at once but not go overboard where it's too overwhelming (like a few rooms in the official Taras Nabad ML by id) I also prefer encounters and levels as a whole to not go on for too long, especially when for some reason you can't save and exit and then come back and pick up where you left off in these levels - not even in the vanilla ones...
Anyway, got any recommendations for me?
