Today, I'm finally testing a full face of Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. Her makeup brand was one of the first to provide as many foundation shades as possible with different undertones that included 50 total shades. Fenty Beauty set the makeup bar really high to include ALL skin colors and tones. I really love the eyeshadow colors! So beautiful with your eye color. I have been trying purple,and gold together. I get so many compliments with blue eyes with that combo.
As a pale gal, I've gotta say... I love Fenty. I still have some trouble finding a single neutral foundation that matches me but I come closer than I ever have before.
The update lighting was absolutely magnifying your eyes with that purple!
That foundation definitely oxidizes a couple shades for sure. I received it in my Boxycharm box in March and found if I swatch on my hand and let it sit for 5-10 minutes and put a fresh swatch next to it, it looks like 2 different shades.
It really does!! It also seems to exaggerate my wrinkles. I was so disappointed because I loved the coverage and soft look of it.
@@ChristDied_PayingForYourSins Yes, I’m 41 yrs old and the older I get the more I find I prefer a lighter coverage foundation, anything full coverage definitely settles into fine lines and exaggerates them. 😩
@@makeurownsammich2597 for me too!! I just watched makeup artist Wayne Goss give a short tutorial on foundation application. After moisturizing/primer, BEFORE foundation, he said to apply loose translucent powder AND THEN light foundation and build as needed. He said he knows people have said it's a no no to do it that way but that it give a better coverage without using as much foundation thereby lessening the exaggeration of fine lines and wrinkles.
I just did it today and it seems to work really good as he said. I've stopped using Fenty and am using good ole drug store L'OREAL INFALLIBLE 24H FRESH WEAR. Its medium coverage but I can build it. This has been such a learning experience. I'm 54 and normally don't wear makeup but practicing for my daughter's upcoming wedding. Even with its frustrations, It has been fun.
@@ChristDied_PayingForYourSins I’ve tried that technique, but have very dry skin so really can’t use a lot of powder either. I love that Loreal Fresh Wear foundation, it’s a great one. I also love the It Cosmetics CC cream. The struggle is real the older you get isn’t it lol. Congrats on your daughters upcoming wedding, and have fun experimenting with all the makeup techniques. We are all so different, what works for one doesn’t for another. Just got to find what works best for you.

I've not done a full on eye look for a hot minute, like most of my collection needs to be checked to see if it's expired, but this look is making me want to sit down, glam up. I have green eyes, but when wearing glasses, people don't notice the color. Purple could rectify the situation...love it
I love love the Fenty hydrating loungewear foundation. Not only I found my perfect skin color match but also it works with my super sensitive skin. Best foundation ever!!
I’m extremely pale and Fenty foundation and concealer are my absolute favorite. They actually work and they hold up all day long. I do agree with you that the eye liner is a let down. I also LOVE the eyeshadows. The colors are gorgeous.

Would you try Yensa at some point? It's focused mainly on skincare elements in thier products but they preform like a dream. I just wish they had more inclusive shades!

I love the foundation. I’ve always had a hard time finding the right shade that wasn’t terribly heavy. Using a damp beauty blender seems to work great when applying.
This makeup looks terrific!!!
I love the shadow color but it doesn’t fair long term wear very well. I do understand that purple is one of the toughest shades to perfect though so I suppose it’s pretty impressive considering.

😍😍😍 that eyeshadow! Might have to get myself that pallet and the bronzer! But the foundation I don’t know about. Is it just me or is it a little bit patchy looking? I’ve watched a few influencers use it and I’ve felt the same way every time. Maybe because it’s so matte? Or the camera? I don’t know. In the more natural light during your update in the hall it looked more even

The eyeshadow colors look SO good on you! The eyebrows look great. Not a big fan of the foundation. The cover up looks good

Hmmmmmmm - well, needed to blend the eye shadow better/more - A LOT better! AND ESPECIALLY I'm not sold on purple eyeshadow with the orange lipstick!! Like NO!!

I haven’t tried the liner, but the mascara smudged all under my eyes. I’ve tried it several times with various eye looks and always get the same smudging. It’s awful.
What brush to you use to blend concealer?

Purple is my favorite color, but I don't like that purple 💜 eyeshadow
I just couldn't see spending that much for makeup. Elf, wet n wild, and alot of other cheaper drug store brands have really stepped up their game and are just as good as luxury.

I started watching you for the cute hairstyles you used to do. The past few months you have literally just changed from the original content you started with and it's a tad disappointing.
I had to go and check for new people to follow who inspire me to make my hair look cute.
This is probably my least favorite look you’ve ever done. Don’t know why but it does nothing for you in my opinion.
