This is really good! The female vocalist nails the entry in the intro and seems very comfortable in 13/8, some are not as comfortable. The guy playing Skimbleshanks nails it too.
I'm gonna be in a production of CATS, playing Victoria (the white cat), but all in Spanish bc I live in Mexico. It's funny bc in Spanish, his name is Mirringo The Express Cat.
y’all sound good, your set is good EVERYTHING IS GOOD, but the costumes. ALW set up any non- professional theatre to have crappy costumes when he wrote phantom and cats..
I enjoyed this a lot, and I'm (sometimes unfortunately) very picky! Some parts of the choreography seemed very practiced and not "natural" (like the cat next to Victoria at 2:09, it seems like they're moving for the sake of moving so they aren't just laying there), but that's my only complaint. I'm going to assume this is college and not high school, unless it was an arts centered high school, since they have excellent breath control, characterization and energy. The costumes are fine. Productions don't have to follow Broadway precedents to the T, it would be nice but shit happens. Maybe it was the directors decision, maybe the costume designer had limited resources, maybe it was a thousand other reasons. At the end of the day, the performance is what matters most.
My friends were recently in a production and told me that the amateur license doesn’t allow you to duplicate the official costumes. They can be similar but not a direct copy. Hope that helps!
musicaltheatergeek79 I haven't read the original poems so I'll take your word for it, but the song lyrics say Station Master and I'd assume the extra s sound is just the accent this particular actor is using.
If this was a high school production I am greatly impressed, with the set, costumes, and performers. It was very enjoyable.

Funny how much better things look with different hairdos, everyone having afros just makes me think of Marty in Madagascar "Afro Circus".

where are you gonna be performing?
@@urban7rat She'll be performing several years ago, I suspect
AWWW
That was so much fun! I loved that Jenny decided to spend some time with Old Deuteronomy as they watched! Super cute!
This is really impressive! The vocals, choreography, costumes, everything. Very well done!
The kid with the black eye patch has a great stage presence
The cat with the patches is called Alonzo.
You don't think that's because he looks like a feline Paul Stanley?
I nearly choked on my catnip when their steam train collapsed!
+Lillian Willis excuse me I was giving the video good feedback with my humour. Should of knew better I guess. Bye.
Wow that was amazing!! This was so impressive!
Magnificent!
Cats! Now and forever!

Did you see it in NY bc I got to and it was AMAZING
Me: Mom can we go see Cats?
Mom: We have Cats at home.

my drama teacher is one of them out of the cats
Anyone know please tell me.
When and where is this performance?
Why does this Skimble keep saying station's master? It's stationmaster.
Because British accent.
IGSA101 but the original T.S. Eliot poem says 'stationmaster' and that's how they also pronounce it in the original London cast recording.

What's the diff diff?
Absolutely none, although technically Station's Master isn't actually a term.
13/8
Whots yor name the muzikal cats
노래는 정말 잘하는데 분장이 고양이들이 아니고 사자같은...
Is this high school product or what? It looks like Nintendo’s graphics
If you think these costumes are weird then look at the Swedish production.... they look like raccoons
I hope the Tix weren't any more than $10 all there would be a lot of pissed off people demanding refunds😡😡
Because there was a cat on the train? That is not a good reason to ask for refunds!
This was really good
dude this is really good for an amateur production! 😂 calm yo self
I think this is community theater, going by the number of young children in the cat here.
