Eddie the Eagle on his Legendary Olympic Games

Michael David Edwards, AKA Eddie the Eagle, joins Muireann and Alan to talk about his historic ski-jumping experience where he captured the spirit of the Olympic Games!
He tells Muireann and Alan about the struggles he went through to get the Winter Games; cleaning bins, sleeping in a psychiatric hospital in Finland and doubling up on socks as he didn't fit into his boots.
He talks about the backlash he received from the Olympic Committee as they could not understand how someone who came 58th in the Olympics received such fame.
He loves the film adaptation, which starred Taron Egerton as Eddie the Eagle, and has seen it over 130 times!
