How to Bundle Courses on Teachable

  • You have to create a NEW course then click Bundle contents and add the OLD courses to it. Consider adding an UNPUBLISHED course (which effectively is a PRIVATE course) to the Bundle to add value? Unpublished courses are not like unpublished lectures - people can still buy an unpublished course but it's private. You might make single courses one-off payments but use a different payment plan for the same courses but in a Bundle. My social media and online course courses can be found at courses.laurelpapworth.com

IMPORTANT: If you remove a course from the Bundle Course, the CURRENT students also get unenrolled if they enrolled via the bundle. If this changes I will let you know (or please let me know? LOL) xxx

Laurel, you have NO IDEA how helpful this video was for me. I was close to tears trying to figure out bundles! Your explanation was perfect - nowhere else has anyone explained that you basically make a blank course for each bundle! Even Teachable's documentation has you duplicating your main course over and over again each time. Arrrgh!
Thank you thank you THANK YOU! :D

You get a thumbs up... The Teachable process required gets a thumbs down! Thanks. This flattened the learning curve for me.

Goodo, we need to flatten curves. :) BTW I've moved to NewZenler because it has community forums (like Facebook groups) and is better for my corporate clients. Just an FYI for full transparency yada yada. (there is an error in the video, unpublished courses are STILL seen by Google SEO bots, they are simply not on the main page, in the course list).

How did you link the bundle to the course title you created for the bundle? Or did I miss something?

Create the EMPTY "course" and give it a title like "The Suoer Masterclass Bundle. Then on the left click "bundle contents" and add the individual courses you've already created. When people click on the title of the new "course" they'll see the bundle. Does that help ?

Hi Laurel, thanks for the explanation. When you write the price for your parent course then in the pricing section of the other "child" courses what do you choose? Thank you :)

Not sure if you know this as this video is a few years old. However, I want to create a few bundles. You mentioned not being able to add a course to a bundle if it’s already added. Is this accurate?

As far as I'm aware it's still correct. Run all your "mini courses" as separate courses then create bundles on the fly. (I moved to New Zenler but still have courses on Teachable). I thought at one stage Teachable would let us use categories to create bundles (like New Zenler does) but it didn't happen.
