its actually funny how glitches spawn earlier (wave 26) and are more of a threat than hazards
First time play tds i thought harzard was dangerous and op but no bro 2 lv4 ungold mini literally cleared entire wave 28 (all harzard) and it disappointed me
The shield is the reason shield health on a enemy 1 shots any vehicle in the past

Fun Fact: they are made so your towers would target the first enemy (hazards), instead of the actual tanky enemies
I think that they should put the Rusher (with less HP to not be too hard) instead of Hazards, after all they're even easier than Fallens and Glitchs

I can't remember, when Hazard was actually a noticeable enemy for me since Overhaul. Every time, when I saw a horde of them - horde was wiped out of existence in seconds.

What I recommend they do is buff the shield Hp from 50 to 300 and the base hp from 50 to 100. They'll have the same defense level but they have energy immunity now. But to balance it, the speed is now from Very Fast to just Fast. Making this enemy to actually be a threat. But besides, we might have strong enough defences by wave 28. If we could survive Fallens and Glitches. These guys should be fine.

It’s not only just the Hazards thats useless. It’s literally almost every mobs as well when the overhaul update happened. The Templar became from a major threat to a a easy kill, the tank just became a off brand version of the charger from L4D instead of being its own unique mob, and just beating Fallen King feels a cake instead of actually feeling you beat it. Most of the things when the overhaul update happened just basically ruined most of it.
Edit: So a year later the Fallen revamp feels so much better now than ever. It actually challenging (If I was in pov of a player with no hardcore or golden towers)

I personally think flying enemies and leads should be on fallen mode so it won't be easily beaten by just cowboy or mini spam and flying enemies to screw the ground towers who cannot detect them

But tbh almost no one uses units

My Opinion Buffs On Hazard:
Health: 50 > 200
Defense: 15% > 30% Back to 15% Defense If the health is 50 but It spreads some gas that stuns 1 tower for 1 wave or 12 seconds
Shield: 50 > Uh I think They Should Remove It Or Just Make It To 100 Shield
Speed: Fast but everytime the hazard gets hit it will gain 1 speed so basically you need accel just to beat the hazard

I'm pretty sure Hazard is in fallen mode to make enemies punch through units that could kill multiple speedy enemies like Ripped Elf or Railgun Tank
nope, they were never changed, there isn't an use for them because ripped elves didn't exist back then and it literally was intended to be a threat not something to just punch through units

We only get scared of them on polluted wastelands 2 , pizza party and hardcore

They're weaker and slower than fallens and glitches, both of which debut earlier than hazards so why the hell do hazards even exist
As a way the enemies to have giant bosses at the back, its getting replaced by alot in later gamemodes, the only time it shines is in badlands where there are 3x more of them
The only reason why you NEVER die to them is bc you just die to glitches first anyway lol (they come earlier and have more hp and are faster)
if glitches and fallens didn't exist then you could have a chance of dying from them if your defense if VERY weak against fast enemies (and good against the rest)

hazard is just a very slight threat when using high dmg towers with low firerate, it will take 8 seconds for a lvl 4 ranger to kill it, on horde. usually the current meta, fast firerate towers such as accel and engi and mini will take care of it.

No need for buff, just swap them with glitches for when they spawn

they can one shot tanks from what I remember but that doesn't really matter especially when you consider they have such low health a tank can just shoot them to death before they hit it or destory their shield

I think it would be nice if they gave theme a neech ability, take example, upon death, they burst into a very small posionous cloud, this cloud of stench and decay slows down tower firerate by 15% whenever one gets caught inside it, the effect stacks for every cloud of poison present on the tower, meaning that if more hazards die on top of a tower, the slowe it will get
I think this kind of pacing will help with preparing the player for the boomer enemy and giving them an idea of what it is like
This will be very annoying but i think it will be very cool and change fallen mode by alot, cuz imagine if ur tower got slowed down by 90%💀 and i also think below should add this

WikiaColors made an analisys video of the percentage ratio
With his research, he pointed out that every 100% cuts down a half of your towers DPS, meaning that 100% takes away your tower's DPS by half, 200% takes away 75%, 300% takes away 87.5%, so on and so forth
So in reality 90% i just a bit less than first-come half decrease
at least with the beta mod it looks very cool 🗿
And weirdly the beta modifier hazard reminds me of the hazmat zombies from R2DA

My thing with them is why do they come out at wave 28 when Fallens (harder bc they have higher health and it’s earlier in game) come at wave 20 and glitches (higher health than fallens and are fastest enemy in fallen mode) come at wave 26. Why not have hazard at wave 26 and glitches at 28?
you also forgot about the part of killing tanks who DO dmg so they are EVEN more useless
Ngl almost all the enemies are not even a threat, for example templar, summoner boss, dark necromancer, and etc.
Fallen is a fun mode but I wish it was more scary and fun.

Wasn’t the original gimmick of the Hazard enemy was that explosives didn’t work on them? And that they used to spawn amongst other enemies… And had 150 Barrier health. Damn… Hazard’s got nerfed badly…

Glitchee come more early and there more danger then hazard if they woukd take my idea they would swap the hp of glitched and hazard so for the hazard to have 350 hp and the glitched to have 100 hp with 50 shield to keep the glitches like they were and not useless like how hazard was like u said

Hazard should gain more speed the more it gets damaged and health should be increased slightly
Fun fact: rusher didnt deserve to be removed from the regular fallen wave structure hazard should have been the one to go since in the overhaul update fallen became a joke and if they replaced the hazard spawns with rusher it would have still been a chalenge

I found hazard pretty annoying on the original polluted wastelands mostly because my team would always farm while i had to defend solo. Fun fact a 3 gold crook bosses cant handle them now they probably can
