06 05 20 Mirror Lake Mondovi WI Round 2

06-05-20 I went back to Mirror Lake in Mondovi WI to see what it looked like after the dredging project. Looks pretty nice. As long as I am here I might as well take a closer look at the dam to see how that works. Oh, and can't forget the tank. Do something nice for someone today.

Neat little town. Visited on google maps. Awesome tank by vets memorial. If I were a kid I'd be all over it.

Thanks again for the Mondovi video. Used to fish and play by that dam as a kid. The creek leads to where one of my hideouts used to be. My beer can collection grew quite a bit as many people used to party down there..lol

I used to live by a creek where we fished, hunted, and swam. Many enjoyable days were spent there exploring the woods.

Nice videos! When do you the narration? As you are flying or later? What are you recording the talking with?

I do the narration after the flight using a Pyle PDMIC58 microphone into a Zoom H1 digital recorder. Not high tech by any means but gets the job done. I was going to try to record live but it gets to be too much juggling of equipment. I can also see more detail narrating while watching on a big screen. An example would be at 13:57 there are kids playing on the other side of the street in the water were the outlet comes through the road. I try not to do any editing of the video so you see it just as it happens. About the only time I edit would be for privacy reasons.
