I would try it! Usually after applying castor oil I curl my lashes and it gives the same effect. In a way curling them prevents the extra oil from falling into my eyes. If your eyes are sensitive to oils in general then that is a great trick!
My mom use to put Vaseline on my eyebrows and lashes when I use to want to “wear makeup” like her when I was little.

I've used Vaseline on my lashes for years. Last step before going to bed. Keeps your lashes hydrated from all the mascara you've used and removed.

I actually use clear mascara everyday and people will say it doesn't work, but I think it works better than normal mascara. The trick is to let the clear mascara dry before curling it and it looks suuuuppeerrrr curled. I love it, and I 100% reccomend giving it a shot !

I tried this, but turns out I was super allergic to the brand I got. I had a MASSIVE stye for over a week 😭 not saying this hack doesn’t work for others though. I was just allergic lol.

i’ve been doing this for a couple months to give my lashes a break from mascara and i love it! i even put it on my face and it gives my face a glow but also moisturizes it!

Don't know why me but When I did it few years back, my eyelashes grew so so well but there is a problem...I started having issue with eyes..went to the doctor, after examination he said I have these tiny bumps like water bubbles on my upper lid water line! He said it's good that I came early and he suggested to apply some eye gel for waterline and stop Vaseline as it's blocking something like pores 😂 I don't know technical word, but it's basically clogged and a pustule kind of bubble grew there...

Vaseline creates a seal that blocks in moisture, so it was probably creating a seal in your oil glands. I'm not a doctor tho so

Edit: doing it with you eye open and brushing up makes them look longer too

I use Vaseline to get my mascara off and it works like a CHARM!!! Also it’s really good to moisturize your face cause it usually wouldn’t break people out with sensitive skin.:)

NOOOO, don't put it on your body or hair, because it actually close ur pores in your skin and that's very bad fro your skin it won't let any koisture enter your skin, so DON'T USE IT ON SKIN!

@@bellapipesb.p2238 idk for eyelashes but specialist said that it's bad for skin since it locks the tiny little pores on your face because it's made of petroleum jelly I think there are other options for that but idk

Yes I’ve done this it made my lashes soft and longer then it usually was also I have a tip if you want nice long lashes use castor oil it helps a lot it Grew my lashes so long that when I curl them they touch my eyebrows. Which is crazy good💕

This works rlly well I use it to make my lashes look longer without using mascara for school (my school doesn’t really allow makeup)
Ive seen this trend to make your eyelashes grow in one month and I’ve been doing it for three and I can’t say it works well for everyone but they really lengthened me lashes

it works. by a long shot! and my lashes have never been so full and grown out before
I used to do this to in highschool in the 80’s minus the lash curler. I used Vaseline on my eyebrows too, to darken it.
It really works, I use it everyday and it also gives length in your lashes.
A few weeks ago I started putting vaseline on my eyelashes with my fingers every night and now they're trained to stay up naturally even when I don't have vaseline on them !!!

I usr aloe instead, it works great and promotes eye lash growth. Great replacement instead of using mascara
All you need is the clear gel mascara.
I’ve been using Vaseline on my eyes and eyelashes every night since I was 14. Because I wear mascara every day, I find that my eyes and lashes can be left feeling dry and sometimes sore at the end of the night, and using Vaseline leaves my eyes feeling so conditioned when I wake up! I personally love the Vaseline with cocoa butter, it smells so yummy 🥰 So YES, (even though eyelash curlers scare me), I would definitely do this, hehe. 😊
When i was younger(90s) i used to put hair gel on an eyebrow comb or brush n run my eyelashes through instead of using mascara

To everyone who does this or will try this:
Don’t do it. It cloggs your tear ducts and pores around the eye. You can even get a tear duct infection from it. So please don’t do it, you’re naturally beautiful and don’t need spidery eyes.
No it does not I have been doing this trick for 3 years and it has not clogged my tear ducts or get an infection from that in fact my eyelashes were like hers before I started using Vaseline and now it’s super long so my advice to you is to talk about something you actually know 😒😠😑

Yes! I use Vaseline on my lashes all the time and I have noticed a difference they definitely don’t fall out as much and they look so much longer and healthier

I actually do this normally. Our school allows no makeup or anything and with glasses, my eyes need something to pop. I just take some Vaseline on my finger and push them up while doing a left right motion. It works and my eyelashes have gotten longer lol

vaseline is not only going to grow ur lashes but u rarely don’t need to wear mascara as much bc it gives it the same vibe. i do recommend vaseline for the younger girls who r not allowed to wear makeup such as mascara.

I used to use vaseline on my lashes but then I realized randomly that I would wake up with a puffy eye. I would ask my friends about it they all said that I have to stop using it and that it what was causing my eye to puff up, so please don’t use Vaseline on your lashes.

Vaseline melts on contact with skin and runs into your eyes. Besides being a nightmare for contact lens wearers, it's carrying bacteria into your eyes. You don't put things that body heat liquefies that close to them. That's why mascara and liner are either semi-solid or liquids that quickly solidify.

I believe you, bc I have horrific eye allergies. I’ve had to stop with everything but cleanser. That’s after using my prescription allergy drops. Eye Dr says anything you put in your orbital socket area (the round bone around your eye socket) will creep up to your eyeballs. Vaseline as a whole is not good for you especially near eyes, bc it has petroleum in it. I know I do not want petroleum in my eyes.

for a better result add vaseline to the soft bit of your eyelash curler (if you have a soft part) then curl and hold then take your spoole and while holding your lashes there brush them with vaseline (hope i explained that well!) ✨
