Vampyrum spectrum

Footage from a vampyrum spectrum roost colony in Trinidad. The roost was discovered by Trinibats after radio tracking an adult female. The colony comprises of two adult females, 1 adult male, 2 juveniles and one pup. The pup belongs to the largest adult female who has her left eye missing. Despite missing one eye she is the most successful hunter and often brings food back for the others as seen in this video.
