The is the story about how a citizen science project involving people from different walks of life is helping the Maharashtra Forest Department in long-term monitoring of leopard activity in Aarey Forest using camera traps.
The leopard activity data gathered by the team over the years not just helps the Maharashtra forest department during Human-Wildlife Conflict incidents but also showcases the extraordinary story of coexistence in the forests of Mumbai which has one of the highest density of leopards anywhere in the world.
