Vanillawafer: Gets a template, takes his time cutting out the car decals/paper and finally puts in on the car nice and smooth. Than there’s me: Spray paints the whole chassis of the car, sticks a number on it and calls it a day.
This is great. I really wish that this could be done for the 1/64 Lionel Authentics Haulers as well. It would be nice to decal those trailers with more up to date or realistic designs. I wonder if there is a place that does this? I’d buy the decals for them!
They stick to them without whitening them out but the main reason I do it is so the previous diecast underneath doesn't show through. (It mostly shows by the numbers and mostly white decals)
Its actually a thin layer of white paint to help eliminate the see through of the previous diecast, but it definitely looks like I dumped it in Elmer Glue haha
Yes, Vinyl Peel and stick behave just like stickers, you have to cut them out tho, scissors will do just fine but an art scalpel will make things more precise
No, since they are peel and stick, they behave more like stickers. Waterside decals on the other hand, need to be wet before applying plus a coat of paint underneath

I think I found my new hobby! I didn't know this really was a thing to do but looks fun!
nice diecast whats the thing you use to cut the decals?
Its an art scalpel. Scissors are an okay alternative.
Do Peel & Stick decals work well on PTC moded bodies?
Is that how you always been making them and where you get the sheets from
That’s actually cool AF
Kind of sad too , that all the rides are just cookie cutters and apply
Can you make a ryan blaney and rose chastain
Does the decals stay on the car good
Where do you get those decals
Dude this is awesome!
Just curious, if I buy some of these from you do I have to white out the car, or will they stick to them without it

Wait how u get that stuff
Man and I cut out the templates with scissors but I don't cover my whole car in glue tho. Should prolly start doing that lol
