This series is genuinely really good, I don't think you realize how much of an impact this is gonna have, I'm watching this thinking oh yeah I need to get myself sorted too and its so much easier than you realize to just drink more or build these good habits, love it
Already seeing progress from your 1st video mate I know it's only been 3 videos but imagine the difference between day 1 and day 90. Keep up the consistency
Day 2 mate absolutely crushing it. Keep the momentum going 🤝 I do prefer this style. Raw footage just you and a camera. Both styles are good but I prefer this style of vlog
From going to a skit creator to a honest vlog creator is gonna be a big change especially with something so personal is impressive. You doing this is so motivational to myself and is really inspirational
Jack, with the meditation, it's not a failure if you notice other things going on around you! It's all about just being aware and present, and the more you do it, you'll be less "bothered" by it and they won't feel like distractions. They'll just feel like something else you're aware of, like your breath
I've noticed that whenever I crave a cigarette, exercising really helps. Its like my body is looking for a reward, and when I work out that craving gets satisfied. But if I don't, it eventually gravitates towards the easiest way to get it. I quit smoking for ages as I was avidly running/going gym. Got an injury and maybe a month down the line had fallen into the habit of smoking again. Now that I’ve got that awareness it’s not about trying not to smoke but rather making it so my lifestyle doesn’t even facilitate the craving. Of course other things such as alcohol can be triggers, but lifestyle choices and awareness go a long way.
Loving the vids Jack. If you’re struggling with the meditation due to distractions, you should try meditating when you’re in bed at night, it gets you in a really good state to fall asleep more easily. And especially if you’ve been looking at screens before going to sleep, it helps you wind down from the strain of screens. Much love
Best thing to do with the water consumption is buy yourself a bottle that has times on the side so you know by 10am you should drink X amount. Sipping all day mate and drink more when thirsty. Loving the eps mate well done 👊🏼
Keep up the great work, lad! As for the style of video. in all honesty there is something dope about having a camera man follow you as you go about your day.
Vlog however is easier for you and lets you focus on your challenge! The hardest part of this will be day 10ish I’m guessing, and probably days 60-90, but it’s important to mentally prepare and to build in lifestyle changes that are implantable for the long game. After 90 days is up, don’t slip back into old habits. Instead, try to do all things you’re doing with a “cheat” meal here and there when social events require it etc.. Keep up the good work, I’m 45 lbs down from my heaviest, and I can say from experience, your mind will do everything in its power to justify your bad habits in hopes of them returning. Good luck!
Obviously hard in jack's case but the best thing I also did for mental health being ex army I got back into tabbing/rucking basically stick 12.5/15kg in a day sack and walk it's amazing for your body legs and mind, also I deleted social media apart from UA-cam and I'm in a good place right now 🙌 scrambled eggs are king, instead of glasses just drink 2x 2liter bottles of water a day easier
Great idea, might have to try that to level up my cardio. How long are the walks you’re aiming for? Anything else from the army that you continue to keep in your routine?
@@PhatController96 I do 5k minimum mate or 10,000 steps per day with the weight hard at first but man you feel good after, make sure the daysack has good shoulder padded straps, there is alot of good army ones online in different colours, I use dumbbells for weight
Prefer documentary style for when ur doing stuff in the gym or boxing or something like that but if not vlogging is good as well. Icl idc about the camera stuff only two eps in and already loving it. Ur gonna be ripped in 90 mate I can already tell
Mate 2 and a half liters of water a day but more than half of it from food so you really should not be drinking 10 cups a day unless youve trained a lot that day. 5 glasses is more than enough. There is something as overconsumption of water and people get obsessed with their water intake which really can affect sleep and feeling fatigued throughout the day ( listened on the andrew huberman podcast). Dont force drink yourself. A glass in the morning, with every meal, during and or after a workout is plenty. Also keep in mind its the electrolyte levels that hydrate the body, not water directly. keep up the good work mate 👍
Inspirational man! I’ve been struggling with self image for a long time and with your videos I reckon I can push myself to do something about it! To my fellow chunky bois, we got this 💪💪
Well done, Jack! You’re right to be grossed out by eggs, they’re really not for humans to be eating, far from a superfood! Get yourself a nice water bottle and sip throughout the day rather than gulping water in one, also. Big up mate!
just an FYI, you might be drinking too much water, well not too much, but more than you need to. i would maybe measure how many ml the cup you're drinking from holds, i'd guess its about 400ml, so 6.25 of them would be your 2.5L recommended amount. A 'cup' the imperial measurement is just less than 250ml, but just cause it's called a cup, doesnt mean thats how much is in your glass. by all means if you are not forcing yourself to drink 10 glasses of water and feeling good for it, then dw about it, i cant imagine it's anywhere near a dangerous level, just might be a bit unnecessary,
Good job bro. You should think about using sugar free or low calorie sauces and smother that shit. Even franks red hot or nandos sauce is pretty low in calories. Dont forget to mix up your meals a bit or it just gets a bit boring and harder to stick to. Thats how I lost 40lbs in the last 4 months
hey jack, you haven’t really covered it but how is quitting vaping going? I’ve tried many times and cant seem to kick it and I wanted to know if you have any tips
This is brilliant content, you seem like a nice bloke and the message is great - but I’m shocked. 2 days now boxing and badminton and sweating everywhere and keeping the same shirt on?!
Prefer this kind of vlogging imo
This series is genuinely really good, I don't think you realize how much of an impact this is gonna have, I'm watching this thinking oh yeah I need to get myself sorted too and its so much easier than you realize to just drink more or build these good habits, love it
wayyyy mxz love your vids mate
10:47 no need for a camera man this is perfect
I like these kinda raw vlogs - more natural and less ‘polished’
Already seeing progress from your 1st video mate
I know it's only been 3 videos but imagine the difference between day 1 and day 90. Keep up the consistency
I think a mix of the vlog style and documentary style is good depending on what you are doing. Also longer the better imo
Day 2 mate absolutely crushing it. Keep the momentum going 🤝 I do prefer this style. Raw footage just you and a camera. Both styles are good but I prefer this style of vlog

Keep smashing it broo! Discipline & consistency over everything!
Idm camera man or no camera man, both versions are really good
Legend, The videos are coming out awesome. Especially for someone who hasn't done longform vlog style videos before.
20 mins is the sweet spot for these vlogs🫶
Great stuff mate I'm on day 129 of 150 day transformation. I've lost 36kg / 5st 10lbs. Just going the gym every day and calorie deficit.
Still keeping me motivated, its my forth day of being in a calorie deficit and moving more
i don’t mind how you do the blog style mate, enjoy it regardless

A mix of the two type of vlogging in one video would be good

This video was class - you're a natural at vlogging - big up and look forward for more to come. go smash it
love these vlogs jack
Room temperature water is best for the human consumption. Been told this by medical doctor, nurse and nutritionist. Just a tip.

Jack, we’d like to see you take up a martial art! Jujitsu, taekwondo, mma, you name it we wanna see it!
Great video, Jack. Much prefer this style of video. It feels more personal :)

Love these vlogs very helpful😊
Inspirational man! I’ve been struggling with self image for a long time and with your videos I reckon I can push myself to do something about it!
To my fellow chunky bois, we got this 💪💪

Start putting some salt in your water bro, will help with hydration. Or get yourself some electrolyte tablets from holland and barett
Start taking magnesium powder. Will really help with muscle soreness and recovery
solid vid jack lad
never ever been this early to a vid cant wait to see the progress
Same
yes jack getting the advocado in
Give me the vlogs over camera shit any day 🙌
I like both styles but prefer when you have a camera man personally

videos are vibes man
i fucking love you, keep being you fuck the rest you make me laugh man
Even know it was bad seeing all the shit comments. But maybe thats what you needed. Defiantly gonna follow the journey
I don’t think the documentary style will work, I think this way is more personal😁
You’re safe Jack. Egg is not chicken period. The yolk would’ve been the food for the baby chick if it was there
Wouldn’t recommend buying/drinking from bottled water as the microplastics in it have been seen to actually help you gain weight!!
hey jack, you haven’t really covered it but how is quitting vaping going? I’ve tried many times and cant seem to kick it and I wanted to know if you have any tips
we readyy 💪
guys just incase you didn’t know, there’s a discord in the description down below…
I prefer you recording your journey with you holding the camera
i dont speak for everyone but i find the more personal kind of videos where you’re the cameraman better
prefer it like this mate x
“But what were the scores ?” - “ah well you win some you lose some” 😂😅
Let’s gooooo!!
A mix of camera styles is good! When you’re at home vlog style is cool but doing exercise or outings should be recorded by someone else
bro wasn’t lying about being a god at badminton 😂
Good stuff mate but on vaping look into studies on nicotine for the Brain smoking is bad yes but nicotine is good
Prefer this style of vlog
Serious question, how do you make your money?
White urine is a sign that your body is well hydrated. It’s good.
💪💪
Anyone know what breed jacks dog is ??
Wooooooo
W
This volgging better
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Lessgo
Without a camera man, feels more natural mate.
This is brilliant content, you seem like a nice bloke and the message is great - but I’m shocked. 2 days now boxing and badminton and sweating everywhere and keeping the same shirt on?!
