The Art of Action Figures Episode 04 - Bandai Tekken 7 Heihachi Mishima - unbox, compare vs Jada Ryu

- On this episode of The Art of Action Figures, we'll unbox and get a first impression of Bandai's Heihachi Mishima from Tekken 7, part of a Game Dimensions sub-brand, similar to Anime Heroes and Dragon Stars. I have more of a passing familiarity with Tekken, but fond of a few designs, always happy to see more video game figures, and wondering if Bandai plans to expand GD to other IP outside Tekken.
Most likely a tie-in with the upcoming Tekken 8, this line also happens to coincide with the new and excellent line of 6" Street Fighter figures from Jada Toys (which itself coincides with Street Fighter 6), and I'm curious how Bandai's approach stacks up. I have Jada's Ryu on hand for comparison as both figures are similarly outfitted in the same price range. Thanks for stopping by!
It took a surprisingly long time to find a video of someone comparing these Tekken figures to Jada's Street Fighter line, so I salute you for it!

Heihachi is the main rival of Kazuya in Tekken 7. The scar on his chest is the result of losing to his son in the first Tekken tournament and being thrown from a mountain top. Of course he survived and awaits another battle with his son over their family fortune. Heihachi is the original boss battle at the end of Tekken.

I think both of these lines are the best figures out at the price point. Idk if you have them but you should compare the lightning collection street fighter figures with these.
I don't have them, but Toy Migos and maybe some others brought out the LC for their reviews.
Well, there's not that big of a height difference, so if the Figuarts Kazuya and Jin that are coming out this fall are too short then I guess I'll go with the Game Dimensions Tekken figures.
I hope, Bandai Game Dimensions Will Make, Nikke: Goddess Of Victory, Figures Of Rapi, Anis, Marian And Alice, I Hope If They Do Nikke Figures It’s gonna be game accurate

Heihachi is suppose to be a darker grey leaning towards black. Not that light.
You're right about that, a dark wash over the clothes would go a long way.
I might have thought this was a good figure a year ago, but JADA is making all the other $25-$30 figures look bad.
