Greenlight continues to be a most perplexing company in diecast. So many cool releases and castings. But also such variability in casting and production quality. Like you said you have the excellent route runner vans, but also a bronco with too small wheels, a dodge diplomat that sits too low etc. I wish they charged a bit more for the cars and in return produced accurate and quality pieces in return.
It's almost like their employees are drug addicts. There's days when they have their stuff so they work great and release great products, and then they have their days when they can't get their fix so they go into withdrawals, those are the days when quality control lets cars with only 3 wheels pass.
Nice. I like the FBI van.. Recently purchased the Michelin van . Not the normal type of vehicle I would add to my collection but I was quite pleased with it .
3:45 MY BABY! I own a real AMC Matador just like that except mine is a 1975 and is the wagon. I also made a custom of my wagon with the greenlight model based on my real car.

Yeah the Diplomat/Gran Fury cars sell out pretty fast. Especially the NYPD cars. Nobody else makes them and now '70s-'90s American cars are becoming more appreciated as diecast cars which is what I've been waiting to see for a long time.
I got both the Polizei Golf and the CHP Mustang from Hot Pursuit Series 36 at Toys R' Us shortly before Christmas. Toys R' Us was shut down for nearly two months because of the Ontario lockdown. It re-opened last week but I haven't gone back in yet due to lack of money so I haven't seen whether or not they've gotten the A-Team set (wasn't there before Christmas).
I don't think the words QUALITY CONTROL exist at Greenlight. For what the consumer pays, these should be like Danbury Mint quality. As for them rolling, I've had some with the hole in the back 9f the wheel sometimes aren't centered. And when you roll it , you think the cars drunk. And the Rubber Tires. I wouldn't care if they went to plastic wheels. As long as it looked realistic.

It's been almost 2 years since this video was uploaded and Greenlight still has a lot of quality control issues. I can deal with the badly applied glue and crooked pieces but I can't stand the axle and tire problems; I know these cars are considered "models" but I still want my freaking 1/64 scale *car* to roll. It shouldn't be too much for a diecast company to make sure their products can actually roll.
One more thing . The window set up. Especially on the older cars. The windows weren't flush with the body. You had drip rails and chrome around the doors and the glass. The Dodge Monaco cars look like CRAP. I haven't bought any, because of how the side glass looks. And if I do buy any I'm cutting the windows out. They need to mold the Door Post with the body and not the window piece. Greenlight needs to listen to collectors.
Yes it did. All Broncos always had a removeable roof. The only difference for the 5th gen Bronco was that in mid-1991, Federal law mandated the addition of the high-mount stop lamp. Ford added it to all Broncos from 1992 forward. Since the top now housed a required safety element, Ford took the liberty of adding shoulder harness seat belts for the rear seat passengers as well. With the combination of the shoulder belts AND the high-mount stop lamp, for liability reasons, Ford removed the instructions for removing the top from the owner's manual AND changed the mounting hardware from standard HHCS (hex-head cap screws) to T-40 tamper-proof Torx fasteners. All you have to buy is a special Torx security screwdriver or ratchet gun bit and you're good to go. But Ford never told you this. They just said "no you can not do that" and everyone just believed it. The federal law for the high mount stop lamp only applies to the MANUFACTURER making new cars as it is a nationwide safety ruling, but it has absolutely no bearing on the end user, especially 30 years after the fact. If you want to remove the top and leave it off, go for it.
Man the quality control is super bad .all most all my green lights are the shits...I love them but its 2021 Make them mint .like they should be. not this shoty workmanship ..🤬 sorry for the rant. but I hope they see this......if it dont roll dont even pack it ...🇨🇦 not a happy buyer .same for M2 pay pay out for good cars and they come worse then a hotwheels most of the time...

Yes, there should be a video where a person customizes their Greenlight cars, so they actually roll. That's what I call a hardcore modification.
