I am interested in doing a preschool for age group 3 and 4 only. As I enjoy teaching them. However I don't like the down play of daycarw. You are so wrong about income. We make at least 5000 per month and that's with 6 kids on the lower end. These are kids I have on days from 6 am to 3. I had someone else do the afternoon before the pandemic and I made and additional 5000. I paid my staff 15.00 an hour to work 3 to 10. My family didn't suffer we enjoyed it all. The kids especially they had kids to play with and learned.
The weekends my family and I had a great time with each other
I am also proud that my grandkids are part of my daycare as well. This gives me more time to spend with them. I am opening a preschool that will be in my daycare but it will be separated. When you do a daycare and preschool that's additional income I suggest making sure they are separated. However I will be joining unless I'm not welcome that is
