Two fine peaks above loch Quoich - Gleouraich and Spidean Mialach

A nice day out on Gelouraich and Spidean mialach starting from the edge of loch Quoich. Walked the route in a clockwise manner. Conditions higher up were wintry and windy. Apologies if this was mentioned in video but I couldnt make it out on your anemometer... was the windspeed in kmh or mph? I suspect mph but regardless it was definitely a hold on to your hat day! ATB Kevin & Rebecca

Thanks for watching video...not sure as I press buttons on the gadget and may have changed the mode...I've just checked the kestrel gadget and the wind speed is on mph..it was strong up there but not as strong as Ben more Assynt when it blew me down...might need to eat more cakes and beer to get weight on lol..will keep an eye on it in future and add it in..thanks Kevin. I remember that the old Victorian stalkers paths up Gleouraich were fantastic. Well engineered and they carried you up the hill easily. You had more snow than I’m having in the Arrochar alps at the moment, Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Graham, stalkers path is still sound and makes for a great ascent, do prefer the clockwise route for that reason too. Yeah snow and ice levels seem to be very short lived this year, hopefully you have enough of a covering on the local hills to get out and enjoy them. ATB Kenny
