Main issue is stupidly high salaries of IT individuals. These guys are quite overpaid while they deliver 50% productivity. Cash burn is just another name of paying stupid money to developers.
But developer salaries are only a small part of it. I believe the very business models are bad to begin with, so there never was a chance they would succeed!

All startups in Pakistan operated like they won a lottery ticket or hit the jackpot. Unnecessarily massive hirings, high salaries and benefits, all this without focusing on revenue generation. Looks like most of them were set up for minting money and making personal gains 🙂
And most of these startups have business models that have failed everywhere else, so no surprises they failed in Pakistan as well. I was shocked they found investors in the first place.
@@eleghari agreed. But it's also an opportunity landscape. Even if we just copy Indian startup idea feasible to our environment like cashless payments, things can be changed

99.99 % Pakistani Founders main concept was How to Burn Invenstors Money . They are all Experinced people but hired totally young people at their Head Offices which impact huge on operation side .
There are still gape between Retailer and Wholesaler B2B Companies have data of customers and they can manage with proper strategy rather then hiring lot of Young People . There isn't any alternative of Experince !

continuous funding is not going to work for the forseeable future as interest rates worlswide are expected to be high for the next two years atlease so funding will be in less supply. @@askerman3
