Hogwarts Legacy - Vivarium Theme Music (A Fitting New Home) (Extended)

- EDIT: The title for this track is called "A Fitting New Home" by J. Scott Rakozy, so you can go search and listen to that on UA-cam as well. The part of the song I recorded in this video starts at around 1:45 in that song.
The proper, pleasant Vivarium theme music from when you first unlock it!
I find this theme really enjoyable to listen to, and figured others might as well!
When you search up "Vivarium theme" you get "Grasslands Vivarium" and "Coastal Vivarium" from Chuck E. Myers "Sea" & J. Scott Rakozy, but you don't get this specific piece annoyingly, so I recorded this music straight from the game!
All rights go to original copyright owners, Chuck E. Meyers "Sea", J. Scott Rakozy, WaterTower Music, Portkey Games, Avalanche Software, Warner Bros., etc.
My St. Bernard passed away from cancer recently... This song makes me think of her running freely in a beautiful field. No pain, nothing. Just her and the rainbow bridge.
Not gonna lie… this music had me teary eyed a bit man. Just feeding and brushing the animals… this game slapped in everything man. I’m literally just basking in all this gameplay
Damn me too, was not expecting that!
I fully went into the game blind and had no idea the entire care for creatures thing was going to exist and it wound up being so stupidly enjoyable. When I unlocked it, I was like “yeah I won’t ever do anything with this” then I found myself doing the rounds in all the Vivariums every single time I went to the RoR lol
I think a big part of it was the music too. The songs make such a nice atmosphere in the Vivariums.
Me too man. It gives me goosebumps. This is truly what we were waiting for
Probably because it brings memories from better times? And the animal care minigame it's just so heartwarming.
Feel like something from a Fable game. 🥹
There was something immensely special about freeing your very first Puffskein into that big, grassy field... it's a moment you can only experience but one time.
This makes me want to cry every time I hear this and I don't know why. I love it though, especially watching them all play with the ball together. The mooncalf is just adorable.
Mooncalfs are the sweetest things
@Iván Chavarre They always seem to be the happiest to see you. It has to be the eyes. That and they also look like they're always smiling. Simply adorable little creatures.
@@victoriavonheals2384 True!
I dont know about others but I feel a bonding with the magical creatures in this game they all are so adorable. When I see those darn poachers I want to anhilate every last of their kind for hurting these adorable beasts.
This music portraying the vivarium perfectly, blissful magical place.
What an absolute masterpiece of a game. Everyone involved should be proud of themselves.
...proud of themselves for all the potions they brewed?
@@Selxis DEEK SHUT UP. PLEASE. IM BEGGING YOU.

The music is as sweet as the puffskeins 😍
0:32 this is when the warm feelings and nostalgia kick in
0:29 There we go….that’s my fave bit
Me too, sounds like the end of a drama/romance movie.
I don't know what it is about big, sweeping strings, but it almost brings me to tears every time
0:37 is my favorite, it's so sweet sounding
@@universal_wisdom3416 Reminds me of the movie Big Fish with Ewan McGregor. Great movie.
It mine too. I just can’t explain how this song makes me feel but I am obsessed!
This game is so damn good. Every single aspect of this game is damn near flawless. The music is 10/10, the game play, world, graphics story. Everything about this game is just, magical. I'm not even a Harry Potter fan and this game drew me in to the world. It may be my new favourite game of all time.
Dude same! The game is truly incredible and I can't wait to show my older brother who was a harry potter fan from the start!
This is probably one of my favourite HP soundtracks in general. It captures this area and moment and takes you back every single time enter. It's so crazy how much care and detail went into this game. Blew my mind.
My favorite vivarium, the beach coming in close second. Something about this vivarium just brings peace to my mind.
This game is as far as being a franchise cashgrab that Neville Longbottom is as being a Dark Mage. They brought so much of the HP world in here with visible passion, and it shows. Love the Game Who Lived (up to its hype)
This music brings me some inner peace I didn’t realise I needed
Oh those warm, warm violins. God I'm choked up listening to this absolute heaven. I often took my character into this vivarium just to stand and watch this immortal golden hour, and I'd sit with my eyes closed to listen to this.
Also the coastal vivarium. Aaaaaah.
How magic is supposed to sound like. God the game's music is amazing.
This game man, I just adore it. The music, the gameplay, everything about it just screams passion and commitment from the devs. Been going through a lot of shit in my life, was in a big gaming slump where no matter what I played, I just didn't enjoy it. But this game brought me out of it, the game that lived up to its hype!
I just wanna say this because I stared into the trees listening to this, reliving so many memories from when I was a kid. Do any of you remember Viva Piñata? This game was about taming and nurturing wild, living piñatas, within a small space such as this. Just imagine instead of bringing the animals to the vivarium, the animals came out of the woods/water/sky into your space. And you would have to meet their taming requirements in order for them to stay as a permanent resident. If you don’t meet their requirements, they wander off into the woods until they decide to return. Everything about the vivarium brought me back 15 years to Viva Piñata, and it was amazing.
Yes I remember that game, used to be one of my favorites, and I definitely remembered it when I first saw this place ❤
The Viva Pinata soundtrack is a hidden masterpiece! Grant Kirkhope deserves some serious recognition for that one.
It’s totally Thomas Newman vibes! Melody made from a fairytale
This feels like it came from Han Zimmer. Such an underrated song. Beautiful
I was thinking that exact thing. Hans Zimmer all the way.
Sounds a lot more like Thomas Newman, the Finding Nemo score especially, but Hans Zimmer is the only composer people actually know apart from John Williams so sure.
@@olgil yeah it has serious Passengers vibes!
@@olgil Or Johan Johannsson's Theory of Everything score
@@94Joeker Yeah 100%
Beautiful, strong. Reminds me of Poppy Sweeting as well, the best character in the game.
Favorite song in the game - can’t believe how beautiful that main melody is. I just wake up and turn it on and sit in there with my beasts
I really want this game to win every award for the next game awards.😭
New Zelda is gonna absolutely body this game. But I would love to see this game win something
They're sadly never going to do that
Honestly, it should win at least two
- Visually and graphically, the game is stunning enough to make me - and I've played a LOT of games - just stop in my tracks to look around and enjoy what I'm seeing.
- The OST is a masterpiece, hands down. Totally faithful to the HP world and has some tracks just just made me stop again to just stand there and listen, being in the moment.
The rest of the game is certainly awesome but not really novel or exceptionally so that it merits an award.
Still SO much better than I dared hope it would be.
This is such a beautiful part of the game. I can’t believe the first time the vivarium opens with the score and letting all the saved animals run free under protection. Just awesome
Thank you so much for making this video! I thought I was going crazy as I was looking for this theme! I am saddened they did not put this main theme in the soundtrack! :( What a treat your video is! Cheers!
It’s on the main album titled ‘A Fitting New Home.’ Hopefully that helps you out! And thanks for enjoying it - it was a treat and a half to score!!!
This music makes me feel like I just saw snow for the first time again. The first step into the soft powder as that distinct crunch noise fills your eardrums, with the ground soft as a kitten. This music makes me feel like I’ve fallen in love all over again, that feeling when the entire world stops and all you see is her. The butterflies sending a tingling sensation throughout your entire body as you build up the courage to have your first conversation with her. This music brings me back to those moments when I was truly blissful. When my heart was filled with joy and everything just felt… worthwhile.
I want a 10 hour loop of this. Absolutely love this music, so calming, while also happy and blissful. ❤
I have been playing video games since the age of 5. And I have to say this has been one of the most enjoyable games I've played in that time. Beautiful soundtrack, especially this track. Just finished the game with the platinum and I feel sad it's come to an end. 😢
When I first walked into the Vivarium, released the animals, and gave them love, I just could not stop crying. There's something about the music, environment and experience that feels overwhelmingly safe and comforting, like experiencing a sudden and warm hug that you have dreamt of but has never experienced.
It kind of reminds of nemo egg theme at 0:30
I completely know what you’re talking about. The music that plays after the father of Nemo holds the one remaining egg in his fins after the attack. Then “Nemo” fades into view.
I knew it sounded familiar from somewhere I almost like this better honestly
I’m really a fan of the violin, cello, viola bits in these soundtracks. My favorite tracks from the films are either Lily’s theme or dumbledore’s farewell or same blood, but that one’s from FB.
This is the moment art is an enchantment
Make me feel more love with the magic in the nature
lost a friend not long before this games release who loved the harry potter series & was the one to finally convince me to get into it. She would’ve loved this game & especially the vivariums. This music just makes me think of a place that is totally at peace & what I hope she is experiencing now.
Such a sweet and peaceful tune that perfectly captures everything that the vivarium is. Brushing and feeding animals to this one is near enough to bring mist to my eyes.
The development team and everyone involved with this game deserves to be recognized for their work on it. As someone who had only seen the HP movies and isn't a huge fan, this game turned me into one! This is about as immersive as a video game can be!
God this song just makes me sad, happy, peaceful……. Simple perfection .
Thanks so much for creating this! The soundtrack version very nearly hit the spot but this is the best version of it. Glorious 👌
No problem! And yeah it's really weird to me the official soundtrack version randomly has this start playing halfway through it lol, it should just be this part!
@@ruffsnap think I may be your biggest listener and most viewed 😂 i have this one most of the day while I’m at my home office 😍
Thank you so much💗you've no idea how long I searched, yes, I know the game's just been released but still! 😣
It's strange, even though I just recently played this game, this already feels nostalgic like Minecraft music does.
This game is so perfect 😭
This kind of reminds me of the Chao Garden from the Sonic Adventure series but with much more variety. But most importantly, this is probably the best music piece in the entire game.
the music is amazing. favourite piece in the game and when it plays during the end of the poppy quest it gives you goosebumps.
Game is one of the best i've played in a while, has everything you want in escapism
Seriously feeling Fable vibes from 1:10 to 1:45 from a track called Summer Fields. Classic RPG with amazing scores. 🥰
Definitely has similar vibes! I've heard Hogwarts described as a mix of Skyrim and Fable, and I think that's the most accurate explanation of the game I've heard yet!
This music makes me think of all the dreams and sentiments I had in the back of my head
So many things I want to do...
And didn't.. (for me)
I’m not crying you are… 😆😆
Always Feel😢💙🎶
Wonderful Soundtrack😊💙🎶
This just made me go for another play through.
Reminds me of the simpler times of being free playing outside as a kid not knowing the truth of what really happens when going into adulthood.. adulting sucks lmao 😂 being so imaginative and so innocent.. etc you’re crying not me 😅
The fact dat i have a few panic attacks and this track made mee feel soo very safe with all of the magical beast around me❤❤
Favorite track in the game
It bugs me so much they didn’t include this or the Swamp Vivarium themes on the soundtrack but included the other two. If it had been this one and Coastal, it wouldn’t be so bad. I guess at least they have Coastal.
Really love this. It's completely it's own thing but reminds me so much of two of my other favorite scores; Forrest Gump and Mark Isham's score to Fly Away Home *and* fits perfectly alongside the other Wizarding World music.
Y’all. I cry. I love.
love this
It’s very good
this just shouts Fantastic Beasts!
0:30 - 0:44 so nice
This part reminds me so much of a part of a show or movies I've seen and I can place what it is and it's driving me insane
Does anyone know the name of this track? Another official OST UA-cam has one called Garden Vivarium which I assumed was this, but it isn't. I need a title, yo.
I've listened through all of the official soundtrack, and the "study themes" soundtrack, and it's not included in either album annoyingly, so I'm really not sure what its title is.
I'm hoping it will eventually get released, but we'll see!
‘A Fitting New Home’ is what you’re looking for. Hopefully that helps!
@@rockinrakozy2496 Ah, yeah that does seem to be it. The music starts right out at about 1:47 in that track.
@@rockinrakozy2496 Thank you.
Some Thomas Newman vibes
levitating
howd you manage to hide the beast menu
I just photoshopped it out in a screenshot from the video, then cropped that box and pasted it over the spot in the video. If you look really hard you can kinda tell it's a spot in the grass that's not moving, but it blended well!
The music kind of give me The Land Before Time vibe.
Great series I used to love those as a kid
This song gives me Gareth Coker vibes from the Minecraft Greek Mythology pack.
Also getting Gareth Coker vibes from the two Ori soundtracks. He's one of my favorite composers!
reminds me of violet evergarden
