@@swish1457 If the Mavs get the 4th or 5th seed in a historically strong Western conference there's no reason why Luka shouldn't be MVP. Mavs have had more injuries than any of the teams above them by a fair margin. They're currently 12-0 with Luka and Gafford both playing post trade.
Westbrook and Jokic both won MVPs as lower seeds with worse win %s than Luka has currently.
If luka ends the season with a stat line of 34/10/9 and doesn’t win the mvp it’s going to criminal. That stat line has never been done before in nba history. Luka is generating the most points from assists and scoring in nba history. Luka leads in scoring, 2nd in assist and will win the scoring title. Luka had the most efficient high scoring game in history. He obliterated the consecutive 35+ triple double record. The bar is so high for luka it’s ridiculous. They said he needs more wins and not to be a play in which he has and they move the goalposts further. At this point they are just conspiring not to give it to him. Years down the line peopl are going to look back at this season and think how stupid we were not to crown this man if he doesn’t win mvp.
Im a huge Jokic fan and I must agree. Luka’s stat line is just insane this season and its criminal that he is not mentioned more. Almost triple double with 35ppg? INSANE.

The MVP is an entire season reward. Just like last year... just bc someone ends the season off well doesn't mean they're MVP. Jokic both last year and this year had the award won long before season end.

Media is allowed to gamble on games and futures such as MVP. Most Media members who have a vote probably didn't pick Doncic. Its def a double standard when there vote can impact there bet. Also, if your white or European, you are at a disadvantage with the western Media. Just ask Mark Jackson who had a vote last year and didn't have Jokic in his top 5.

He also missed a game in that run against the thunder which the mavs lost. While they beat them by almost 40 points earlier when Doncic was playing.

what people that havent been to the basement at the AA center dont know is that Luka can not only kick balls into the hoop from full court or do behind the back shots from half court he can monster slam dunk as well. He rarely does it because like most euro's they believe it wastes energy and is a poser move when a lay-up and turn around to play defense is what coaches at all levels teach. l taught motorcross classes to kids and stressed to them that flying thru the air doing cross-ups is cool but staying stuck to the dirt is faster and safer. Same thing here in B ball.

Alright, let me get this off my chest. I'm tired of people sleeping on Luka Doncic's game. Seriously, how many times does the guy have to prove himself before everyone acknowledges that he's an absolute force on the court?
Let's start with his scoring. Luka's got more moves than a chess grandmaster. He can drive to the basket with finesse, hit step-back threes like they're nothing, and don't even get me started on his handles. The way he controls the ball is like art in motion. And don't even think about fouling him because he'll just calmly sink his free throws like it's a walk in the park.
But it's not just his scoring that's impressive. Luka's passing? Next level. The guy sees the court like he's got eyes in the back of his head. His court vision is ridiculous. He'll thread the needle with passes that most players wouldn't even attempt. And he does it all with flair and style.
And let's not forget about his rebounding. Luka's out there snatching boards like he's collecting trading cards. He's not afraid to mix it up in the paint with the big guys and come out on top. Rebounding might not be the flashiest part of the game, but it's crucial, and Luka excels at it.
