Wow those Lego Pistons went so fast it looked like it slowed down
Fps man
Yeah! 😀
It works kind of like wheels on a car when it’s moving ta a decent speed, (I’m referring to when the wheels on the car seem to be going slow or even backwards)
This should be a legit lego set. I'd buy the fuck out of it.
3:28 Putting the "fly" in flywheel 😂
You should drill a extremely small holes on the sides of the engine compartments, and have oil dripping down into those holes so that the Pistons get lubricated more... doing this would be like normal oil inside of an engine and would keep them running better and smoother and probably faster... then you won't have to worry about melting the freaking pistonheads...
Rub the cylinders in a bit of disco "banana oil", would give a much cooler smoke effect (with less damage to your LEGO) ... :)
And the vid wouldn't be a thing if those Lego workers weren't there
3:28 you lost your flywheel, it affect the pistons balance
the flywheel has nothing to do with piston balance, it just simply keeps the crank spinning until the next power stroke
Why am I here ?
Ivan Morales Wtf is happening?
Ivan Morales because your not there
Same
you should put some VTEC in it ;)
And make it a C30B from the NSX
Fanis S13 yep, exactly
I'm amazed at the toughness of these little motors
With no lube I might add
The workers: this is fine.
Normal day at the work lol
More reliable then GM
lol
DawNBZ ah
Is that why they're better than Ford
cylinder 1 looks a little burned to begin with
This reminds me of legos vacuum engines and how sometimes they blowup
You should spray a little oil in there
Im going to buy an Lego engine and put it in in my Honda Civic
good luck.
U know it is Honda Civic
*AE86
Holy crap man that's impressive!
You're kidding right? Your actually using a drone motor, man you're crazy
9 rotations electric motor = 1 rotation lego motor means the electric motor revs more, so electric 900rpm = lego 100rpm
I have always wanted to try something like this. Thanks for the great video
That is faster than what any V6 should be possibly able to go
Way untrue
Because it's not a real engine
Uuuuuh, no, F1 engines are commonly V6 at i think 70° or 90°
I T H A S A R A T I O N O F 9 : 1
600th comment! And i loved this vid!
Same🥺
you do realize that for the Lego motor to go 10,000rpm you need that other motor to rotate 90,000rpm??? I don't think it will lol
Edit: just saw you removed the gear box. also 9x900 is 8100
is it me or I'm seeing things at 3:28
James2 Mansfield2 I saw smoke and bits of melted plastic after the pulley flew off
The yellow wheel went fuck off xDD
This motor is maybe for a plane
why does everyone say add oil...oils primary use it to keep things lubricated, as it's metal on metal, not necessarily to keep things cool, as it does help with the latter, that's the point of the radiator and airflow with antifreeze/coolant, all you Lego mechanics out there....
Never heard of oil cooled engines ?
older gsxr motorcycles for example had an oil cooled engine, with a big oil capacity and specific oil galleries and squirters, like an oil cooler, quite huge.
Oil is cooling down the engine at around 20 % on a standard engine, wich is liquid cooled.
oil is not only a lubricant, particularly on turbo engines wich are the main type nowadays.
michaelovitch I'm just trying to tell people that oiling would only do so much, it would still get hot....and it's not the primary function
Isaac it would reduce the friction, but not necessarily reduce the heat...the difference would be minute, and probably wouldn't make much difference, plus at 10k RPMs the oil is just going to be lost.
Corey Trevor yes good point about it being lost but the heat in that is purely caused by friction
Oil does aid in cooling engines especially if it is air cooled, the oil runs through a small radiator though. Either way in this case it could help a little, but it's Lego lol
stock internals?!
Can someone make an RC car out of lego with one of these in it? Working,
The Restoration of Dr Who shop.lego.com/en-US/Drag-Racer-42050
V6 power :)
Surely you want the ratio to be motor 1: engine 9 for max rpm?
Urbex Productions ayeeeee I was thinking that too
Where can I buy this LEGO speed computer?
I think it is aftermarket, but it might be useful to search for "Lego rpm meter" as it does not compute or calculate speed (velocity) only the amount of rotations per minute (rpm) of the axle
9x900 = 8000
🤔
Thats why you need to put oil in engine xd
Feel like 100 mph it 100mph
Impressive
vroooom
needs lithium grease or graphite
MilesPrower1992 its me XxspringtrapxX MLG im your biggest fan
MilesPrower and XxspringtrapxX MLG too gether forever
What is the point in the pistons? Why don’t you just have the technic bar? Are the pistons only for show?
Sam Felton duu
Sam Felton pistons are very important, when they pop out the engine dies. The friction also makes noise, they heat up the engine, some people also use the pistons for many other things
Sam Felton to track the rpm
put some lucas oil
Please put oil in engine . then run it full.
We need to see .
When your LEGO engine revs higher than most engines
i dont even need to know the rest of the sentince for me to know your a 10yr
Sinjin Perez i think you mean 5500rpm, not 55000... the rpm gauge will say it it between the 5 and the 6, and the gauge will also say rpm×100, which means it multiplies by 100, and 5.5×100 is 5500, not 55000
3:28 they don't call it a flywheel for nothing!
lol
i can smell the burning plastic from here
3:26 the flywheel HAHAHAHA
Protik Banerjee lmao
Protik Banerjee I
SUCKERZZZZZZZ IM OUTTTR
put in engine oil might run higher
Dude, you need to add some synthetic 5W-30 to it. And for sure it will break 14k RPM. That's what I did to my civic!
3:34 look at the axle poking out on the right, it's shredding the plastic in the technic hole
dude your not considering plastic material. oils are used to let metal engines endure heat and vibration. if you don't use some kind of lubricant or something to preserve the plastics structural integrity against structure resonating motion, it will just melt at enough friction heat or the structure will fail around the ratio of motion of mass. when you create that amount of force so efficiently you need to contain as much as you create, the idea that lego mechanics can achieve this with plastic materials is the feat in of itself. but theres always a better mouse trap..
You should try reversing the gearbox and adding oil to try to make it above 12k rpm
What are the torque and ps figures?? Also, will this fit in my Honda?
try putting a lubricant of some sort in the parts, it may run smoother.
Lol this lego "engine" runs at 0RPM. It can be SPUN at 10,000 RPM
I bet If you kept a constant spray of wd40 it’d last much longer
you would not want to stick your finger inside that gearbox or engine thing
i find it amazing how lots of these lego motors either seizing up or blowing spart are VERY close to how a real like engine would seize or blow apart.
But will it fit in my Honda?
Bob Cota Yes
Bob Cota it's already in your Prius
you should have added water to the engine or silicone lube
great, but it would be better if you made it 1 turn of electric motor=9 turns of lego motor
well it's a a V6, what would you expect?
now humans need to put this in a REAL NORMAL CAR am i right? when the engine brakes down just buy a box of legos lol.
Ugandan Kunckles Hahahahahaha exactly 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There is a life size Lego technic car that runs using many Lego motors, with a driver inside.
LEGO. YOU SAY GEESE NOT GEESES (hopefully )
we need some oil for the next time.
:D
flywheel at 3:28 :ight imma head out
That part just played while i read this.
You forgot to put oil in it!!!
Hahaha! The face on the lego guy at 2:49 is like "oh shit!" when the motor is running at high rpm about to seize up.
For the stupid people this isn't a real engine/Why? It has no fuel or a why to ignite said fuel and no combustion chamber
I know and its (A PLASTIC)(ENGINE) hooow 😹😹
Indeed
No shit Sherlock.
Are you fucking dumb not shit Sherlock
@@fbi3265 you're the one getting all worked up not me 👀👀
I ran 30,000 rpm through a Lego gearbox with my rotary tool and the axles melted into a circular shape but surprisingly it never ceased up or stopped.
How to make that 10000 mile drive train warranty go away in 3 seconds
now invert the gearbox
Lego parts were harmed during this video
thats kinda realistic. NEED COOLING SYSTEM :-0
put some oil in cylinder, it will help
what didn't you switch that gearbox around so it's 1:9, that would be a sick overdrive
Sled_NeckX99 boom
lol why there a Banana sticking out of the mop bucket? ;))
Hook up a brushless motor and melt it down
there is no oil in the engine
Its made of oil. :-D
good point :D
flip the transmission
Check the bearing to the right at high speed. There are plastic shavings coming out there. Some of the cylinders or the bearings are in real trouble. Lubricant (like silicone spray) might help there.
Add lubrication
The shaft on the back was destroying the lego. 3:35
That's true....
lmao that's actually awesome.
He should've stuck his finger in there
How about putting some lubricant into the cylinders?
zniesmaczony some Lucas stop leak will fix that engine
Does it fit in my Honda?
now this is why you need a good quality motor oil to protect your investment
Not when I shift into *MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE*
Maybe you should lubricate it for it to go faster.
You could coat the internals in gun oil to help reduce friction and heat.
Faster than a McLaren Honda
Murilo Santos lasts longer too
Love that Detail you gave your "model"
Lego technic is awesome, and I guess nearly everyone who had it and a drill machine used it to speed up a Lego Motor :D
Great job
1:57 Pistons stop moving because of the camera lol
Needs some proper 14/40 OIL in that
Now add a differential and strap some wheels on it
Still better than a ricers engine
The setup of gears makes it slower
Nvm it’s actually better because it has more torque lol 2 months ago I didn’t know that If a big gear goes to small gear it decreases the torque
So, I dunno anything about these, but wound up seeing some of these videos.
Do they use oil? Have you ever tried lubricating it in any way?
I remember making one of these but it was with a old air powered air-hogs motor and it sounded like a badass Lambo.
Parakeet Boy an*
Needs oil at this speed
What the fuck am i doing with my life
when vtec kiks in
what im doing with my life
TULIjuuso wasting it watching youtube videos.
