To me, the Stronghold is meant to be a kind of an underground fortress, so iron door kinda make sense.
11:21 pro tip, when in a 5 way room look for exits that are cut out but only have stone or other natural blocks there. This is an indicator that one of the other exits that doesn't have a cut out may have a room behind it. The game miscalculates which exits should have cutouts to other rooms when the 5 way room is facing certain directions. It does this on java as well so I suspect its one of those bugs they decided to keep.
I really enjoy the stronghold under village link. i tend to build around strongholds so that i can use the end as a mass items storage and because if that i never have to travel for to get items that i am missing for a build (most of my farms are also build near one so that i can just bring all the items i get to my end storage system!

Note: Strongholds in bedrock don’t always generate with a village above it.

@@kolkagaming1234 In Java there is 128 strongholds but in bedrock it's infinity
They can also spawn with as little a 2 rooms 🤷♂️ I found one in my current seed and was mind blow. It's legit 1 jail cell and a hallway to an end portal and that's it.

Strongholds need an update honestly, they haven't really changed at all since they were added, and they're always broken as hell on bedrock anyways.

He didn't bring up the Empty Prison Rooms, and how on Java they spawn with Iron Doors but on Bedrock they spawn with none
If you can't find iron in any altar chests you can use the bars from them since despite there being 0-5 rooms they actually spawn pretty frequently
I've never seen nor have known there was a storeroom in the Stronghold. 🤔

I actually have a skulk farm attached to my silverfish spawner. It's not the most efficient way to get skulk but it's fun to watch them fall and splat while I get skulk blocks.
I'd rather have a funny, slightly less efficient farm than a boring super efficient one lol

you can remove fall damage from end portals in java edition too, you just have to cover the portal in water. i have one set up in a server with a few friends and it makes entering the end 10x as fun.
My dream is a stronghold+ocean monument+swamp hut spawn clustered together in bedrock edition to build a super base with my friends. I wish there were more seed guides for bedrock edition so I could find what I'm looking for. Thanks for the tips, I'll check the stairs next time for sure! 😊
Unfortunately ocean monuments won't spawn in swamps do to the shallow water 🤷♂️
@@funtimenerds Right, yeah the spawn is very specific but possible. It has to have a swamp spawn next to a deep ocean with the hut near the ocean side and the monument near the swamp side. The fortress would have to spawn ocean side I believe. Just super duper rare. I've seen the ocean monument spawn within 40 blocks of the swamp on bedrock so I know its possible

Aknother way to find strong hold is go on to seed map and put your world seed in and it will tell you the exact cords of it

really funny when you squish them and they just p much explode though xD
Silverfish in real life aren't too bad, don't give me anxiety like the ones in game and they're better than cockroaches or bedbugs by far, although I've only usually seen a few and not had a whole infestation lol
Actually you can go to the stronghold with no need for eyes of ender there is a one in a trillion chance of finding a stronghold with an end portal with all 12 eyes in it and a few seeds have it

I think you had Basalt Delta, and somehow (Bedrock?) you had a stronghold there. It was the most beautiful stronghold ever, the smoke & ash that filled the rooms. mmmm

I think Ancient cities are more overpowered, because there are more kinds of loot you can find in Ancient cities then there is in strongholds
True, they're also way more dangerous though.
@Michael-es4dt well if you're willing to play on peaceful mode while raiding one then it's a cakewalk, however if there's not a silence armor trim in the first 5 then it's more painful than fighting the Warden using a Crossbow from a big distance.

silverfish are a very basal group of insects, most flightless insects evolved to loose the ability to fly but silverfish have no ancestors which could fly. they’re all over the world

You have elytra. You've been to the end..
