This is so real. My uncle's family came over during winter break once, my parents moved my brother and I into the attic so they could use our room and my uncle/aunt could use theirs.
The kid and I can relate. When there’s people coming in our house to stay we have to go sleep in some smaller rooms......UHhhhhhh the struggles of being Asian.
Oh man!!, the dial up internet connections. I still remember them. When broadband first came, it was a massive relief that we finally get an internet connection without even having to interrupt the phone line.
It's almost miraculous in hindsight, that so many of us around the world put up with this inconvenience for years. No wonder internet cafes were such a big thing - parents at home were angry with their internet hungry kids hogging up the phone line for hours on end!
@0:56 Louis says, "Well, sometimes you have to spend money you don't have, to make it seem like you have money that you don't spend." He forgot to add: "To impress people that you don't like."
2:00 I love the way he pretends to work on a computer that is not even plugged in, see for yourselves. The back of the computer is missing the electric plug from the top section.LMAO
1:52 some people will never know the struggle. My parent and grandma hated it when we used the internet. Only one thing at a time; internet or house phone.
These scenes sound unreal to most people, but I know a guy who had a business next to a Chinese restaurant. The owner of the restaurant went out of business because her food quality dropped and diners stopped going there. My friend offered to buy the place to expand his business. She agreed but with the condition that he tear down the building so nobody could ever have another restaurant in it. She was afraid that a different owner might be successful in the same place that she failed in, and she would be shamed. The worst part about the the whole story was that My family loved that restaurant. For years it had the best Chinese food in town by far. At least it did until her parents stopped cooking there because she treated them so badly. After they left, we stopped going because the food was no longer any good.
My mom almost smiled. On another note anyone else notice how much Jessica dominates these funny moments. I would love to watch the show just for her but the oldest kid and the husband are just so annoying.
"And now you're equipped with air bags" 🤣🤣🤣
Can it be used in a car crash? So that way we can save on airbags at the steering wheel
huahuahua
That's the best punchline🤣🤣🤣

When the modem static didn't go quiet at the right time, I had all kinds of frustrating flashbacks
2:34 Kid's got good taste in music. But why did it start playing mid song from a cd?
So we woudn't have to listen to that horrible woman's voice more than necessary. ;-P
Back in the day, CD player worked like that. Would start playing from where you paused last time.
@@prachetasnayse9709 yeah if you had left it in, but didn't keep track once you took the cd out.
Eh, nit-picking a decent show for fun is great, maybe I confused the CD player with the cassette player.
That's pretty good.

when you do the dial up, how many times do you have to do that to get to the internet?
Usually once, but it sometimes takes a long time so you restart it.

I want Constance Wu to be my mean Mommy 😈
Her maiden name is Chu
She shldve taken 100 bucks outta her wallet and 1 of her tops to say 150 percent off
Asia is such a big continent, but why do these traits common to almost all cultures. Hahahha.. so accurate!
Its because China for over 1000 years made most of Asia their bitch via the tributary system.
