Andrew Robinson র 'The Inner Eye' এ পড়েছিলাম সত্যজিৎ রায়ের থেকে সিনেমার অফার যখন আসে তখন অলকানন্দা রায়ের বাবা নাকি বলেছিলেন 'মধ্যবিত্ত জীবন খুব বোরিং। সেখানে উল্লেখযোগ্য কিছু ঘটেনা । তাই তোমার এই সিনেমায় অভিনয়ই হয়ত জীবনে একটাই মনে রাখার মত ঘটনা হয়ে থাকবে।' কথাটা চমৎকার কিন্তু ! ওই বইতে এটাও ছিল রবিনসনকে অলকানন্দা নাকি বলেছিলেন 'কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা' সিনেমার ঘটনাটি যদি তাঁর জীবনে সত্যি ঘটনা হত তাহলে তিনি চোখ বুজে এন বিশবনাথন অর্থাৎ 'বিলেত ফেরত' ইঞ্জিনিয়ার 'ব্যানার্জি' চরিত্রটি কে বিয়ে করে ফেলতেন । খুব অনেস্ট ওপিনিয়ন। এখানে উনি সেটার উল্লেখ করলেন না !

সাক্ষাতকার যিনি নিচ্ছেন তাঁকে ধন্যবাদ..অসাধারণ শিল্পী অলকানন্দা ম্যাম কে আমার প্রনাম...কিন্তু সাক্ষাৎকার নেওয়ার সময় অলকানন্দা ম্যামের কথার মধ্যে কথা না বললে আরও কিছু ভাল অমূল্য পাওনা থেকে বিরত থাকতে হত না...

Indeed...but it's been 60 years since she shot the movie. She was really pretty in the movie and really dignified here. Kanchenjunga is a brilliant movie given Ray's logistical limitations while shooting it

ট্রাজেডি বলব? মানে যখন re-take করার সুযোগটা ই সীমিত তখন নিপুণ ছবি হত আর এখন দশ বার take করার সুযোগ থাকলেও এক take এই OK😢😢
