Great video. What’s crazy to me is that if each of those Charizard V’s we sent in at a $20 grading cost, this would mean that the collectors have given PSA $855,700 JUST FOR THE PSA 10s. That’s absolute insanity.

The market is slowly figuring out that the black label hype is a scam and is make-believe. It adds zero value above a PSA 10. Maybe 10-20% max if the card really looks great. 10-20x multiples have been making me laugh for years now at all the people who are going to lose 95% on their investment over the next year or 2.
To be honest I would have expected higher differences. considering how much hard it is to get a black label I would have expected a lot of cards going for 10 times the PSA 10 prices.
The metal Pikachu from celebrations pop report from PSA is 73 “10’s” out of 2,248 graded. That’s a percentage of 3%. Do you think that will be significant in being possibly the only “low pop” modern card ever?
Its so surprising to me that people still pay so much for Black Labels when they are the biggest lie in the Grading world. So many black Labels out there that have a not even close to perfect centering. I even saw some with whitening. Imo everyone that buys black Labels is out of his mind.
I always think its fascinating that I can buy a PSA 10 copy of a card that could (note the could) potentially grade a black label for a fraction of the cost.

Amazing rares were a refreshing design choice. I’m surprised that they have not and most likely will not see a return. That can only make them all the more rare and sought after, I guess.

I’ve noticed before the black label counterpart was 10x more expensive than PSA. Interesting to see that multiple cool off over the years.

Love black labels just not a huge fan of the dimensions of the BGS slabs
The English version of Magikarp sold for $585 and 385 in PSA 10. I think that is crazy. Please explain this?
