I loved the movie's portrayal of female friendship, but I couldn't help feeling that the friendship prioritized in the film was slightly toxic. The characters' relationships with their husbands suffered due to their unwavering dedication to each other. While it's essential to nurture friendships, I believe that marriage and family should take precedence. A healthy marriage is built on unity and mutual respect, and it's crucial to ensure that our partners feel valued and prioritized. Perhaps the film could have explored finding a balance between nurturing friendships and strengthening marital bonds. Nevertheless, the movie's beautiful storytelling and exceptional cast made for a compelling watch.
I agree with you. I ended up with the conclusion that the story is about how toxicity in friendships can be confused as healthy to outsiders. The husbands were just unwilling participants in the whole picture. There’s an opportunity for a follow-up story, to share the history of their subconscious bond, and outcome of events with the three remaining adults after the child was born - particularly on how the husband navigated the entire situation. Like you said though, this was a good movie.
This is a movie! Kenny and Marice’s husband were really good men. They didn’t deserve what they got. They tried their best to be loving and understanding men in the relationships. Thank you Russet TV for highlighting that there are still good men like this out there, and may we also be wives that learn to adore and respect these good men at all times, Amen.
Thank you@Diane russet, the story line is so unconventional, it literally felt like a true life story, from the scenes to behind the scenes everybody delivered! Thank you guys!

Finally!!! A Nigeria story line of good friendship between ladies. Tired of the repeated story line of best friend sleeping with another husband😂😂 We still have good female friendship in the world just like this story line..
"Best friends sleeping with another" or whatever that means is not different from the adultery in this movie. To top it up, she refused to take responsibility, she blamed weed, her friend blamed the guy, she blamed her friend for leaving her by herself as if she's a toddler. Which married woman receives a box of chocolate and flowers from an investor without thinking it was a "red flag", but still went ahead with the dinner and stayed back by herself. At the back of her mind, she was fully aware that her husband called her attention to the flowers. For ladies that don't see anything wrong, I hope you are cool with it when your hubby brings home a flower and chocolate from a potential client in his office. The two ladies were more invested in their friendship than marriage. As for the man staying back to honour their vows, trust me it's for the movies. I trust African men. It's a different case if one contacted HIV before marriage and he's aware before going into the marriage but no man will stay if it's from adultery. Sleeping with each other's husband and this case here is the same. Women should observe boundaries with the opposite sex once you're married. Avoid gifts, endearing terms like dear/sweetheart and late night messages and chats with guys. Treat your spouse how you want to be treated.
I mean i already know this before, but I must reaffirm that Baaj Adebule is such a phenomenal actor!!!!! Mehn he kept me glued to the screen all through! Uzoamaka, Beverly, everyone on this film brought their A game!!! 😊
The very first movie on UA-cam to receive a review from me. Very educative for those who could grasp the different occurrence and corresponding consequences for reckless actions and lesson learnt. Movies often showcase the writer's imaginations or a real life event. Hence, it's outcome may or may not please the viewer. Therefore, i suggest people should keep an open mind when seeing a movie of this magnitude solely to learn. I love the creativity of making the throwbacks seem like present occurrence 😊 Kindly include language translation in subsequent productions, because the absence of it could have been one of the reasons for the low viewership since the language scene occurred much earlier in the movie. I'll stay glued to this channel. Amazing production 👏🏽 🙌🏼
This movie deserves an award. All the actors and actresses should take their flowers. I love the fact that there was zero nudity, yet all the emotions were raw and palpable. In addition to that, the movie touched on several society, medical and social issues like HIV stigma and misinformation, genotype issues, mental health issues, social vices like smoking , marriage, childlessness and IVF journey and most of all the amazing gift of solid friendships and sacrifices ....Diane russet please take your flowers
One of the few UA-cam channels with solid content. See movie 😍, see the quality, kind of movie I can pay to watch in cinema. Movie that deserves million views quickly. Kudos to all the cast! Keep doing the great job 👏 bravo russet tv ❤️
This movie truly stands out from the typical Nigerian films with their often predictable plots and endings. It breaks away from the formulaic storytelling we've come to expect, offering a fresh narrative that keeps you guessing until the very end. The characters are layered and complex, the twists are genuinely surprising, and the emotional depth draws you in from the start. Unlike many Nigerian films where you can foresee the outcome, this one challenges the norm, creating a truly memorable and different cinematic experience. It’s a breath of fresh air in Nollywood.
This movie screams "sometimes your soulmate is your friend" and you'd absolutely do anything for them ,and i love that they had no regrets and still lived happily as friends
Dear Diane, am still watching, i just had to tell you this movie deserves an award. its way more than youtube. its reality. May God continue to bless and feed you with great ideas.
It's amazing how Tami lived to old age despite her diagnosis but Maris didn't...! Baaj Adebule is an excellent actor, and made me watch this interesting movie, kudos to all the cast🎉👍👏
I'm sooo speechless for the first time in a long while....am a girls girl o , I hv a soul sister like so buh haaa, habaa. Btw, I will get married when I find my own Baaj Adebule , nd I won't push him like this.
Wow! It captured the seriousness and sanctity of marriage and the sacrifice of friendship. Each has its place, but some mistakes would have been avoided if priority was given to the marriage and if trust and transparency were duly established. Wonderful movie. Tons of lessons. Great acting. Worth the watch totally.
My honest opinion too. We shouldn't see the movie as portraying or teaching bad behaviour, there were mistakes and there were consequences. I believe we can rightly separate the good from the bad actions. I was literally calling out the bad, selfish and extreme decisions they made as I watched, it's even glaring except we want to deceive ourselves and they actually did some justice to showing that too. I sincerely enjoyed the movie.
I'm not one to give lengthy reviews on movies but this really did it for me, has got to be my best movie for this month, maybe year sef. One of the reasons I'm yet to give up on Nigerian movies. These husbands are incredible but it's still a movie. regardless of their bond, they made decisions that jeopardized thier marriages, they didn't put their partners first. it seems like a beautiful friendship but at the cost of their own families. overall, they had a beautiful friendship.

1. Tammy is not emotionally mature to be a wife 2. As much as i want to admire the sisterhood , i cannot wish for such a friendship that values differs. 3. Sisterhood is not suppose to enable bad behavior but checkmate each and grow to be the best version of themselves. 4. The men were clearly too good for both women especially Kenny. overall it was a good movie, acting was perfect and also well casted.
For someone who has never seen Nigerian movies on UA-cam or cinemas before, I’d say this is some “You lead others follow” kinda standard, and please it has to be aired on either of the streaming platforms. Congratulations Russet TV on this 🎉 🤚🏾

Having an amazing group of female friends is so powerful that the need for a Prince Charming may become unnecessary. Sisterhood is often overlooked but incredibly valuable; my wish is for every woman to discover her own circle of genuine support and companionship. Grateful to have experienced the blessings of sisterhood, I thank God for this incredible bond.
I wish I can say I have experienced the beauty of sisterhood but I have not even when I have a sister. Not even friends because they have betrayed me severally,So painful.
This movie has me on a lot of emotions. The sisterhood, the blatant disrespect of their husband's feelings. The cast, the picture quality. Everything is so refreshing. Love it
40 mins into the movie, but i got to say,the fact she suggested to be a surrogate mum without her husband's consent knowing fully well he wants children is alot...wow!! Loving the movie though....❤
Agree with you totally, Tammy was so wrong but their problem was genotype. Bringing a sickle cell child into this world when you can prevent it is wrong!
This is the first actually good Nollywood flick on YT. Someone said it is Netflix standard, and I concur. The throwback is a bit confusing because the setting seems very much like the present day. Nothing in the styling suggests the 90s, which would be timing for Maris and Tammy's hay day. Solid story, nonetheless. The writers were not afraid to show the ugliness/beauty/messiness of a somewhat toxic but lasting friendship.
This was worth it, the storyline. The beauty of friendship, the compromise in marriage, the education on hiv and the burden of motherhood. 🎉 Plus the long term effect of smoking weed ( dementia)
This film is AMAZING. True love and partnership can come in many forms, not only via marriage. A narrative we don't see often in Nigeria. Diane, if you see this, just know that you have outdone yourself. This is the best thing you have ever created. I pray you are able to create more high-quality stories.
Wow!!! I love love this movie so much. The cast made the story more captivating and interesting. Dianne you deserve an award for putting this together. Cast 100%, Cinematography 100%. I really enjoyed it.
Absolutely on point. This is real work, a movie to watch. Not those ones they come out every week with wack storylines as though they are in competition with the world. Well done, producer
Mrs Tina Mba is very funny she was like " Father let thunder and lightning roll into one and strike their intentions " 😂😂😂😂 that part just cracked me up
Their friendship is gold. I like that it is not centered around men, or had to take a backseat because they got married. In life when all fails genuine friendships will keep you going.❤
Men like Kenny outta this world....rare gems and everything else in between...I commend men like Kenny o... it really is a whole lot to take in.. amazing movie... sometimes getting caught in the moment can be a whole lot sha.... great job ❤😊
Omg the ending part...so maris has been dead a long time and she's only been allucinating 😢😢😢😢..great movie.. Diana you do this one o😊😊❤❤take your flowers dear 💋 🌺🌹
This was a really lovely movie. I only have a problem with Marris and Tami's friendship taking decisions independent of their husbands 😔 not a good trait. If only Marris hadn't gone out with Bash, a lot of things would have been avoided. Baaj Adebule is a fantastic actor, the scene where he caught Tami sneaking in was so real 😩 Dear Dianne, take your flowers babe ❤ whoosh
Women need to listen to their spouses opinions more often I know the whole idea of her staying him to take care of their kid sounded off but if only she heard him she would have avoided the mistake of that night Mistakes have consequences and it certainly changed everything Amazing movie Diane👏👏👏
This is so beautifully done. Some of the kindest love I have ever known has been through friendship. I love seeing mature African women being celebrated. Thank you for telling their stories. xx

Best Nigerian movie I have seen in a while. I am a cry baby with movies with sad ending, never thought a Nigerian movie would evoke such raw emotions like I felt watching this movie. I never comment on anything online but this I could help. Diane, you are everything you think you are. A phenomenal woman you are. Thank you for this beautiful piece.
One of the best movies I’ve watched on UA-cam. Not a regular storyline ,very unique, educative and has standard.. This movie should be on Netflix cos why not.. kudos 🙏❤️💃💃🎊🎉
So I’ve watched this movie about a week ago and forgot to leave a comment. Here it is, the script is very very different. I mean it’s not your conventional naija movie and that’s amazing. Kudos to everyone who put it all together.
Men like Kenny is really scarce 💯and the friendship between Tammy and Maris is rare and fierce❤ I would love such friendship but any friendship that comes first before my marriage is a no no for me. My husband will be my number 1 priority coz he will be my everything and my all in all 😍💯💯💯 Great movie Ruset tv and kudos to the script writer and to all the amazing characters 🥰
But wait ooo,how can you confide in your friend more than your husband. They had a strong bond but at a point it became selfish on the part of the husbands. I really felt for them .This is a cinema movie .Well done guys
Another good one from the stable of Russet TV. I’m beginning to get fond of your contents. One major lesson to take from this is SET BOUNDARIES. It’s okay to love your best friends whom you had before marriage, but know where to draw the line. Your spouse should be your number one priority, before even that best friend whom you love so much…
I cried for this movie It has been a long while I watched this kind of movie filled with so much like If you don't pay attention you won't get the plot and the the fact that they sticked together through it all no betrayal just love, loyalty and support and the having eachother backs is chef kiss
My God! How does anyone conceive such a story?😮 Each scene was like the pieces of a puzzle that kept fitting into the other, with just enough thrill to sustain the viewers' attention. The entertainment, emotions, lessons..all real & thorough. I am super proud to know that the cast & crew of this masterpiece are Nigerians. I can't wait to see you get all the recognition you deserve!!! Well done Diane, well done Micheal AMA Psalmist, well done to the writers & the entire cast & crew. WELL DONE!!!🙌
It's a beautiful movie.. Tami and Maris have not the slightest clue what marriage is about. The husbands clearly do not have control or say over their home.. sadly this is the reality of most marriages lately. Married but taking decisions like you're single..
This is the best movie I’ve watched this year. I am impressed. The script, directing, acting… impressive. Thank you for giving us something different from the norms. ❤

When Tamy was sneaking into the room, wow! Ken(Baaj) acted so real, some natural acting there🔥🔥
And I loved it!
He's so good
That was a man in charge, an angry husband......😊
Baaj is underrated o!!
He is an actor biko!!
@@samuelekpeti3818he does it effortlessly
My best scene
Having an amazing group of female friends is so powerful that the need for a Prince Charming may become unnecessary. Sisterhood is often overlooked but incredibly valuable; my wish is for every woman to discover her own circle of genuine support and companionship. Grateful to have experienced the blessings of sisterhood, I thank God for this incredible bond.
I wish I can say I have experienced the beauty of sisterhood but I have not even when I have a sister. Not even friends because they have betrayed me severally,So painful.
Baaj is so underrated.
Guy is so good!!
He's an excellent actor! 😊
The level of compromise from the men in the movie is really remarkable
As in eeeeeeeh 🥹
So unbelievably sweet.
I kept telling myself it's just a movie! 😢
I swear..even as a lady I felt their pain
It's a movie
Almost felt too unreal
This movie has me on a lot of emotions. The sisterhood, the blatant disrespect of their husband's feelings. The cast, the picture quality. Everything is so refreshing. Love it
Congratulations Diane on your new project 🎉. Can we please have season 2 of Dear Diane 😢
You brought this out of my mouth 😢
Honestly I miss my dear Diane
This feels like a Tyler Perry movie. Wow Diana you did this, well done 🎉🎉
My favourite scene was "Oh my fucking God it was for flowers and chocolate Dami"
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Me too 😂😂
I felt that too
Me too 😂
Me tooo
Mrs Tina Mba is very funny she was like " Father let thunder and lightning roll into one and strike their intentions " 😂😂😂😂 that part just cracked me up
All these kind of husbands are not in reality only movies.
Great movie

Diane*
Please I didn't quite understand how Kenny died 🤔
@@jenniferblessed6947 I think it just kinda happen, you know how husbands die before their wives na
Women need to listen to their spouses opinions more often I know the whole idea of her staying him to take care of their kid sounded off but if only she heard him she would have avoided the mistake of that night
Mistakes have consequences and it certainly changed everything
Amazing movie Diane👏👏👏
Russet TV makes the best movies and their storylines are always unique, relatable and interesting. Well done Diane Russet🎉
Then I'm subscribing.
This is so beautifully done. Some of the kindest love I have ever known has been through friendship. I love seeing mature African women being celebrated. Thank you for telling their stories. xx
This movie is CINEMA STANDARDDD!!! Well done Diane, this is a 10/10 movie!! Storyline, cast everything was PERFECT! Love me some good storyline ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is a masterpiece
The friendship I love but the toll it took on their marriages 💔💔💔
Speechless to rate this movie, what a friendship of gold and silver, so rare to see one nowadays. Kudussss
This was a really good one..what a way to cover so much in a movie.Friendship, marriage, surrogacy, mental health,HIV,parenting..kudus to the cast and crew..If you are wondering if this is worth watching it is!
This is the best mother/daughter depiction yet!!!
Omoh this is Netflix standard. I cried at the end . Does friendship like this exist in true life
Rarely!!
No way
Ukamaka “Maris” should really be in more movies. She is goooooood🎉. Diane, all of your productions are great, good standards. Well done ❤
Oh this is a very well put together master piece touching a lot of sensitive important areas👌Weldone Diane and my accolades to all the Actors👏
I mean kudos to Kenny 🎉for the fact that he didn’t tell maris husband about his wife being barren
He is actually good
One of the best movies I’ve watched on UA-cam. Not a regular storyline ,very unique, educative and has standard.. This movie should be on Netflix cos why not.. kudos 🙏❤️💃💃🎊🎉
Omo
The cast in this movie are absolutely 💯
They all sink into the roles
I give it to Beverly ❤.. Baaj never disappoint ❤
The ladies were selfish oo, ahaaan! They were making decisions like they didn’t have partners I mean marital vow taken partners ooo. God abeg
My thoughts exactly.
Likeeee
Omorrhhh too selfish
Ladies in male dominated field for once 😂
@@enezesthoughts228hmm
@enezesthoughts228 please even men don't go thos extreme abeg
I know this is a movie and pray married women in real life behave better...ooo myyyy dayyys
So I’ve watched this movie about a week ago and forgot to leave a comment.
Here it is, the script is very very different.
I mean it’s not your conventional naija movie and that’s amazing. Kudos to everyone who put it all together.
Wow.. the love Tammy's husband had for her is phenomenal.
It's unfortunate she didn't have a pinch of such love for him
She doesn't even care for the man.
No regard for him@@Beastdinne
Men like Kenny is really scarce 💯and the friendship between Tammy and Maris is rare and fierce❤ I would love such friendship but any friendship that comes first before my marriage is a no no for me. My husband will be my number 1 priority coz he will be my everything and my all in all 😍💯💯💯 Great movie Ruset tv and kudos to the script writer and to all the amazing characters 🥰
Well said
It’s how mother and daughter look so alike like they are actual real life mom and daughter
I was just about to type this. I’m so shocked and excited 😂
honestly
I was going to say this😂😂😂 literally took words out of my mind 😂😂
The comment I was looking forrr!!‼️😂
You get!❤
This feels absolutely real, never have I ever seen a need to give a comment after seeing a movie. But this is captivating and real 💯💯💯
Typical Diane! Story looks normal enough, until one bomb will just enter from left field😂😂. Loveeeet!
😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
But wait ooo,how can you confide in your friend more than your husband. They had a strong bond but at a point it became selfish on the part of the husbands. I really felt for them .This is a cinema movie .Well done guys
Another good one from the stable of Russet TV. I’m beginning to get fond of your contents. One major lesson to take from this is SET BOUNDARIES. It’s okay to love your best friends whom you had before marriage, but know where to draw the line. Your spouse should be your number one priority, before even that best friend whom you love so much…
Gbam
Omg
This is the best movie I have watched this year..this movie needs an award..🎉❤
I cried for this movie
It has been a long while I watched this kind of movie filled with so much like If you don't pay attention you won't get the plot and the the fact that they sticked together through it all no betrayal just love, loyalty and support and the having eachother backs is chef kiss
My God! How does anyone conceive such a story?😮
Each scene was like the pieces of a puzzle that kept fitting into the other, with just enough thrill to sustain the viewers' attention.
It is well.
God will help us
Hmmn
Exactly
This is the best movie I’ve watched this year. I am impressed. The script, directing, acting… impressive. Thank you for giving us something different from the norms. ❤
Is anyone going to talk about how these two ladies prioritised their friendship more up to the detriment of their marriages
I have mixed feelings about it oooo cause omooo isn't your spouse suppose to be your No. 1??
Disgusted me
At a point I thought they’ll be lesbi@ns honestly
Exactly. Just because the friendship was beautiful doesn’t mean it was right.
Now that’s how friendship is supposed to be.
Now this is a movie, a good script not the regular and familiar stories I see on UA-cam.Guys Welldone.A lot to learn from this movie
So the one with HIV lived longer than the other ones.
This movie is top notch. I need a man like Kenny. Well done Diane
Irony of life 😢
I didn't quite understand how Kenny died
@@jenniferblessed6947Me too and I also want to know to happen to their husbands
