Haha so true. Animation is very time consuming and a lot of hard work. You have to really love what you do to look past the hard work and still enjoy it. Thank you for making this video. It helps me understand a little bit of what you do behind the scenes which is always interesting to watch. Keep it up! =D
You need software that makes a sequence out of your photos and turns them into a video. Dragonframe is a program I recommend if you're serious about stop-motion animation.
LOL at lifesize oil painting of sun!! I make paper animation the old fashioned way without a computer right now- (Though a digital camera probably counts as a computer, so I ain't *that* old school.) I want to try and make the step up- how do I make layers out of my digital pictures once I have a laptop and my pics are on there? (And I get Adobe After-Effects.)
@littlebigfan234 Sometimes. It's called a light box. Typically, they're used for "onion skinning" with traditional frame by frame cell animation, but they can also make some fantastic contrast effects for paper craft or shadow box animations. The nice ones can be very expensive, but mine is made of plastic and cost about $30 USD.
Yeah, I use after effects for certain animations. The puppet pin tool is useful for slight motion without too much warping. I find it works best with a multi layered PSD file. That's how I got the dinosaur in my last animation to run and roar. === If you really use oil paint, you rock the Casaba!
Thanks for the tutorial! This could really help me since I'm just starting to learn how to create paper animation. My team and I joined a video contest we used paper animation too (just starting!) please like our vid, search for COLOR MANILA RUN STIX. Thanks!
I loved how you had your character's mouth move and eyes blink while you used your finger to work his jaw.
hi
I'm actually working on an animation right now. I use Corel Video Studio. Already uploaded a few test videos on my channel :D

Much love to Frameographer. Best software I've ever purchased for $2.99.
Hi, great to see your processes in your work, you are very talented, paper cut-outs are amazing to make, and they do just that by coming alive :)

But I was taught cheating was wrong. Then again, I'd still be fighting through math courses if not.
Nevermind- I just realized how loaded that question was while watching adobe tutorials.
