    My interpretation of this video is : when burna returned to his mother land, he was different and odd, so his people despised and attacked him(those warriors trying to attack him) , but his music was the weapon he was using to fight back, they realized he was too powerful so they joined him (the warriors started dancing), Embraced his talent and Took him back to rest of the community (in that truck). Then towards the end you can see that they not only accepted him but made him their leader which he actually is ( the special armour he's wearing).

    I no want make person tell me say I too lazy
    (Oluwaburna of la la ni)
    As I dey hustle like Adebayo Ogunlesi
    (No go talk say me I too lazy)
    This was in reference to the Nigerian President, who said Nigerian youths are lazy. This is Burna’s subtle way of telling the president that he in particular is not lazy, and he is a proper hustler.

      @dedemartdiaries1734 4 роки тому +5

      @wolf old ass Thug
      That's the issue, that's not our " way of life"...I am a born bred nigerian, from a small town and I have never seen men dress half naked with tattoos with spears and arrows sticking their tongues outs, clawing their hands and beating their chest.

    • @dedemartdiaries1734
      @dedemartdiaries1734 4 роки тому +2

      @@yemixxx I totally appreciate the aesthetic part of making a video, the extreme Africanism of it all, but if there are still Africans like those depicted in the earlier seconds of this video, then they are remote. Perhaps a hundred years ago, good, but to continue to fantasize that refined will have the same value as 'crude' is folly. I'm not even for refined, I'm for "culture", "way of life", not "history". This kind of imageries belong in the museum, not on mainstream media if we stand any chance of being taken seriously.

This song made me want to get home to Africa. My people have so much soul and there is a kind of intrigue that accompanies everything they do.
