This song is famous for its abrupt ending. Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. The band started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarist 24, Pau (Pow!), drummer 22, and Ale (Ah-leh), bassist 19. They have opened for the Killers, Stryper, Def Leppard (twice), Foo Fighters, Guns ‘n Roses (twice), Muse (nine times), Royal Blood, Imagine Dragons, and Avril Lavigne. They have toured with Three days Grace, Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless and Evanescence. In 2022 and 2023 they played over 175 concerts in 14 countries including at the MTV VMAs. This year they played Shiprocked, festivals in Mexico, and had sold-out European, Japanese, US, and Canadian tours. One of the Japan dates was with Band Maid whom they met at a festival in 2022. One of the European dates was at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. They also played at the European Music Awards and the Latin Grammys where they were nominated at both but didn't win. They already have a number of dates scheduled in 2025. Go to www.thewarningband.com for further details. They are classically trained pianists; Dany & Ale have played sax in the past. All three sing lead and background vocals; Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They were on the Ellen Show in 2015. Their parents are not musicians, just great rock enthusiasts. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. Later, all graduated high school through home schooling. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They started as a cover band; an Enter Sandman cover launched their career. They now have 58 original songs, a collaboration, and 15 music videos. They released their fourth album on June 28th. No bad songs. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their UA-cam channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. Go to youtube.com/@TheWarning?si=s_FJdvssjjj5balS. When you fall down The Warning rabbit hole, you can’t go back!!
WOW ! THANK YOU SIR !!! I found TW about a year ago. I am absolutely a fan for LIFE. I wonder, Can I be a member of TWA when all my knowledge of the band has come through TWA ? 🤔 I AM ABSOLUTELY A FAN OF ⚡ THE WARNING ARMY ⚡ FOR LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU
AND Ale turned 20 YESTERDAY! Unreal to me since I have been following them since 2014...she was so tiny back then. None of them even teenagers anymore! Makes me feel a little nostalgic about their whole history. A few things that you did not mention above: The internationally award winning music video for the XXl Century Blood song, the fact that their father Luis had once been a recording engineer who had worked with people like Cafe Tacvba, Julieta Venegas & Benny Ibarra, That Ellen Degeneres had funded their schooling at Berklee after their appearance on her show! What totally got me hooked way back when was The Pretender video followed by their second Tedx appearance & the release of their first LP XXl Century Blood as well as that video for that. I was astonished by their talent & song writing abilities at such a young age as well as their intelligence, drive and stage presence. Since then they have continually gotten even better. I consider them to be the best rock band of the 21st century! Their superpower is performing live and seeing them live is kinda life changing which is why they have such a dedicated following. The Pepsi Center CDMX show from 2023 is really the pinnacle of their career so far! The upcoming shows in Mexico City will probably be astonishing and I wish I had the means to go...the show on February 7 will be on my 69th birthday! I also really love their in studio live performances at Sirius XM from 2022 & just a couple of months back in 2024! Here is a Reddit post with a translation of an article about their manager Rudy Joffrey & their father Luis Villarreal which fills in some information about their formation in regard to those two driving forces in The Warning's evolution. There is also a direct link to the magazine article...www.reddit.com/r/TheWarning/comments/12y6utj/rudy_and_luis_are_the_cover_story_in_the_april/
My first live of TW was in a tiny Toronto club with a one-foot stage elevation. Two hundred of my closest friends. Standing twenty feet away. Done tore my head clean off. The version of Disciple from PolAndRocks is crazy, too. Thousands of Polish people, who have never heard the band before, yelling whoa-oh-oh at the tops of their lungs and adding a melodic bit.
The Warning are one of those bands that it's hard to believe how much sound is produced by three members. They are great live and you can't go wrong with either their Pepsi Center or Teatro Metropolitan live performances. I watched both in their entirety when they premiered on UA-cam. Upcoming songs Z, 23, Kool-Aid Kids, Dust to Dust are great
Note the lyrics here, In first verse Dany is singing to her diciples to be that they should be aware of that the sun is their enemy today and in the seconds verse Pau, as a good disciple to be, is responding that yes, now the sun is her enemy. You can find numerous vlogs and interviews given by them where tehy explain the concept of their songs.
Easily my favorite band from the past 20 years. It's not even close. The short version is that they are great musicians, great people, and adorable bad asses that care very much about their craft, their family and their fans. Utterly unique. When they were much younger their potential fairly seethed beneath the surface. Still, there's several (perhaps surprising) developments that greatly helped fulfill all that early promise: - Their work ethic and discipline (leading to exceptionally tight live performances). - The strength of their songwriting skills (lyrics, hooks, riffs, dynamic stops & drops). - Their live presence (the palpable charisma from all three). - Their vocals. Two superb lead alto singers (potentially 3) and the gorgeous harmonies.
The Pepsi Center concert is 23 songs long. Every one of them is special. This was their TENTH ANNIVERSARY show, at ages 18, 21, and 23! They played songs from all four albums, although some of the ones from Keep Me Fed had not been released. The sarcasm dripping from Pau's mouth on that last line is amazing. "You shall remain | Inside your space | of IGNORANCE." The message is not to follow false prophets, duping politicians, or pied pipers. Don't take any wooden nickels. The official music video is amazing, too. But live has next level energy. You can react WITH CONFIDENCE to any or all of this show and not be disappointed.
Early this year, March I believe, I listened for the first time of The Warning through a playlist about female rockers in UA-cam. By September I was boarding a plane to see them live! The first song I listened was Choke and I noticed the Halestorm influences fast. Then listening their discography one notice how they bring back the rock we listened when growing up. Their music is a love letter to the classics in my opinion.
When the full Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert was published on UA-cam, I got a notification, started watching it, stayed until the end and became an instant fan. So I was introduced to them through this live recording.
These three can go from banger to melodious in one note so smoothly you have to hear it to believe it. To many, myself included, they're inspirational beyond music.
Enjoy the ride! They're simply incredible and those of us catching up get to go back in time from their viral Enter Sandman video through their Tedx Talks, their amazing progression of their own music and their magical live performances. I only discovered The Warning 8 months ago and I listen to them every day and I've seen them live twice.
@Dale-m9t I saw them in Detroit and immediately said to the guy next to me that I had to see them again. Saw them a month later in Toronto. They really are amazing live. 🤘
@@ChrisMcLachlin I'm hoping someday to be able to see them in Mexico. Judging by the Pepsi Center CDMX and Teatro Metropolitain footage it would be AMAZING. I'm betting the shows in Mexico City this coming Feb are going to be even better yet!
Try listening to "Dust to Dust" as well as "Dull Knives (Cut Better)" in any old version, studio or live and then switch to the Pepsi Center version where they played the songs back-to-back. You will see the difference. They are simply playing live better and better.
And Dany is playing a mustard-yellow Manson guitar gifted to her by Matt Bellamy of Muse. The Warning did covers of Muse when they were kids. When they got older they opened and toured with Muse. The vocal game of tag by the sisters with Disciple. Pau and Dany trading lead with Ale backing both of them! Fans of The Warning sing with them, whether in English, Spanish or French!
This concert is amazing. One thing to keep in mind is that Dany and Ale are recovering from the flu. Pau is so sick from the flu that they considered canceling the concert, but she got some good drugs and she decided to power through.
When I first started listening to TW a few years ago, I used to laugh to myself when I would read comments like, "They don't know how to write a bad song!'", I don't laugh at those comments anymore. I'm not saying every song by them is the best song ever written but they're all good & you can't say that about too many bands. The energy they give off playing "live" is crazy & like you said, you can feel it. I'm glad you're liking what you've seen so far because it just gets better. ⚡🤘
They played 23 songs at this show. all of them but one were released in the couple months leading up to the one year anniversary of this show on October 28. The one exception is song #20, "Hell You Call a Dream." The live video for that song was posted in March to promote that song which was released as a single around that time. I was introduced to this band back in March via a UA-cam reactor and immediately fell deep into the rabbit hole. They almost instantly became my favorite band. Their music is great, their story and their personalities are what hooked me. I've seen them live once at a festival in September. It was a short 30 minute set of 8 songs and it was brutally hot outside but it was still amazing. The song "Disciple" explores the dynamics of social media manipulation and the cyclical relationship between those who wield power through ignorance and those who fall victim to it. In the first verse, guitarist Dany represents the manipulative forces cultivating hate and distraction for control and profit, while the second verse shifts to drummer Pau embodying the manipulated disciple, trapped in the system and unwittingly perpetuating its narrative. The chorus intensifies this tension by portraying a direct clash between rebellion and control-Dany's call to "kill the system" symbolizes a revolutionary voice fighting against oppression, while Pau's command to "remain inside your space" represents the system's effort to enforce ignorance and compliance. The bridge blurs these perspectives, illustrating the entanglement of manipulator and disciple, where cycles of hate and despair feed into each other. Overall, the song presents a powerful critique of modern systems of control, highlighting the struggle to break free from manipulation and confront the forces that sustain it.
Great breakdown of Disciple! You really captured the whole message about manipulation and control. I love how Dany and Pau show both sides of it! Thank you for the information!
Yes, please do both of these Tedx talks. The first one is from when they just started writing their first album and the second one a year later when it is finally done. They play three songs in each with some talking in between. They are only 11, 14 and 16 years old in the first one, but you could already see their greatness. They will surprise you. The title of the 2016 one is "Young Girls Love to Rock" and the one from 2017 "You've been warned!". Both from TEDxUniversityofNevada.
Yeah, that was when I got hooked but especially the second Tedx plus the video of their cover of The Pretender, the video for XXl Century Blood and that same named first LP. By that point I was astonished!
@@decal2756 Hello, 2017 isThe whole package! I used to only recommend 2017 cause I figured there is only one chance and this is it. But 2016,2017 are like two sides of a whole (a box set) Thank you fellow fan !!! ✌ and 😊
Pau, the Drummer, takes lead on several songs here. Just wait ‘til you get to her renditions of Black Holes and Breathe ( bring the tissues). Subscribed for the ride!!!
Your life is about to change. My first experience with TW was a live performance in Philly several years ago at a small venue. Hadn’t ever heard them before and mind blown. When they played Narcisista that closed the deal for me, has somewhat of a Punk vibe. I really don’t listen to any other music now lol. Great reaction, your shock at how good they are was evident as you were listening. Nice!
The whole concert is amaizing, you will be amazed as you continue at how talented these grirls are. This is a great concert to start at as you will hear songs from all four of their albums spanning their entire writings so far from ages 10, 13 and 15 until this concert when they were 18, 21 and 23.
Great reaction from you and I'm excited to know that if you keep reacting to more of this power trio's material they will soon be your favorite band too, inevitably!! That's for sure... It's The Warning!! Because as you get to know TW better you discover that their music is steeped in various rock styles but invariably it’s pure rock. And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very personal opinion that their structure, their cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, their endings... All of it is masterful. The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all of this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection, with sophistication predominating. There could always be other options, but the ones they choose seem to be the exact ones to create a masterpiece of art. Also impregnating everything with a natural touch of inevitable sensuality that only adds improvements and with the feeling, sensitivity and passion of their blood, race and culture. Each of their pieces can be very different, but always with all the flavor of TW. It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits. They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain period of time. This is the youngest veteran band in the world of rock!! Without forgetting that they are only three, yes, but three authentic geniuses in their specialization. Melodically they are the best, without a doubt, because they are the queens of the hook, the riff, the changes of tonality, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime voices, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages. And this happens song after song… INCREDIBLE!! The new masters of rock: The Warning ⚡ For now I subscribe to your channel because I hope to see many more reactions and opinions from you about my favorite band of all time. Thank you and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️ .
As the reaction went on it was so easy to see what was happening to you…….. 🤯 Yeah, live is so good - their music was all written with live performances in mind - often the weaker side of some bands. There are very few bands who are that good live, I know that in my past I’ve listened to bands on the radio or off a record and when I managed to see them live it was a disappointment, very different to what I originally heard. To follow on anything from the same concert would be great!
Watch the very beginning closely. Paulina is late. She is running to her drums and kicks her shoes off just in time to start. Paulinas voice is typically smooth as silk and can be very angelic. Daniella has amazing range and fantastic rock voice to kick you in your face. Alejandra is almost always the low end on harmonizing. She has a great voice but a bit shy to use it. I will also welcome you to the addiction. Just embrace it.
Welcome deeper into The Warning rabbit hole. I've been down here approximately 7...8 years. No no, I do NOT want to come up! Greetings from the Nightwishland a.k.a Finland 🇫🇮
"I'm stunned" That's most people's reaction when hearing them live. And yeah Paulina has the voice of an angel. And it can be so varied. From sweet and soft to rough and raspy. I am subbing now. I love watching people fall in love with them. After some time you will feel like you know them like family. Esp if you watch some of their vlogs and tour after movies.
Great first LIVE reaction! Another super show is at Teatro Metropolitan a year before this. What got me hooked was their 2017 TEDx performance of SURVIVE, amazing energy -already rockstars at age 12, 15 and 17!! well worth checking out. (3 songs and them talking in between).
Yes Pau is incredible, but Ali and Dany are both incredible as well. Dany is a world class Front Woman. Singing and playing rhythm and Lead licks and Riffs is not easy. Ali is one of a kind, She holds the tightness together with her precision and perfect pitch she is just as important...imop
I recall watching their 2015 viral video cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman. I was like, that's cute. I hope they keep on with their music dreams. Then three years later, I heard Dust to Dust from their second album, Queen of the Murder Scene, and I was drawn in. Then I saw their TedX performance from a year earlier, especially their song Survive (from their first album, XXI Century Blood) and I was hooked for life. Whatever you want to know about their history and even some pretty obscure facts, I'm certain if you ask, someone in the TWA knows the answer. There are members who have been following and supporting them from the very beginning.
I subscribed and I'm here to watch this whole show with you. These ladies have already started working their magic on you. Let the transformation begin! You seem a bit timid/ shy right now. Soon you will be confidently clapping, cheering, singing, and saying "I think this is my favorite song by The Warning".... after every song. 😂 Let it happen and enjoy it. It's a fun ride and we enjoy watching it happen.
I found them 3 years ago, they remade Metallica's Enter Sandman along with Alessia Cara for Metallica's 30th anniversary Black List album; which then took me to their viral straight cover of ES back in 2014. So, the first original songs I heard by The Warning was Dust to Dust (at the Whiskey in LA) and then Dull Knives (for the (de(tour)) from The Warning Cave. So I'd recommend as you next song(s) the combo The Warning made of these 2 songs played at the same Pepsi Center concert: Dust to Dust / Dull Knives --- strap in, it is about as high octane high adrenaline as you can get
Welcome to TWA! The Pepsi center show is amazing! One tip... while the auto captions will work on the individual song videos, the long-form video of the concert has more accurate post production English captions for the Spanish language parts later on. ENJOY what may become your new obsession ⚠️🤘⚠️
Nice reaction! For me, I think I listened to Choke first also. But their concerts at Teatro Metropolitan and Pepsi Center did not exist at that time. The first live platform was their TEDX talk in 2017 where they performed 3 songs while talking about the making of their 1st album in between the songs. Then it was their live at Lunario CDMX concert, where they premiered their 2nd album Queen Of The Murder Scene!!!😊🎶⚡️
Looking forward to re-watching this great Pepsi Center concert with you. It is currently their newest officially released live show and as you heard the sound quality is superb and you can really hear the audience. Before this was available the best one was the Teatro Metropolitan show from the year before. The quality of that one is also really good but mixed a little bit differently - you don't hear the crowd as much. For their earlier songs you should not miss the Lunario concert, where they played their second album Queen of the Murder Scene (a concept album) in order, chapter by chapter, with some songs from their first album in between. For many fans seen as their best work. And then you can't miss their TEDx talks from 2016 and 2017. It shows you a little bit more of their earlier stuff, their motivation and their personalities. Then you have music videos, acoustic and stripped down performances and all their vlogs and other things they did during the pandemic.
The Pepsi Center is awesome. You will enjoy it. Do yourself a favor, though, and when you get to the next-to-last song, EVOLVE, switch over to the MTV VMAs 2023 live performance (also on their channel). That is still considered the gold standard live performance of that song. The Pepsi Center performance is good, mind you, even though the sisters were still recovering from the flu at the time. But the MTV VMAs performance is... wow... magic.
Yes! Thank you!! Although there are songs where I prefer other performances, this concert is the best overall, especially if you take sound quality and videography into account (which I can't help doing). If possible, please react to the video they played for the crowd in the interval when you get there, for a bit "behind the scenes"..
Hellyeah! You have been Warned! SUBBED so I can follow your journey down this deep rabbit hole of The Warning! Yep - just work your way through this concert. And, yeah their songs often end abruptly. The Warning says, 'If it was too short for you, listen to it again.' LOL. You have roughly 60 songs to work your way through and you will love all of them. There are no fillers and generally speaking, the last song you listened to becomes your new favorite until you listen to the next one. Never apologize about rewinding The Warning. Most of us have seen all these videos dozens, if not a couple hundred times and we never get tired of watching. We just enjoy watching reactors get the most out of their reactions and learning about The Warning. So, rewind away. Every song offers several points in time that make you say, "Wait, I need to see that again". LOL! Some reactors take nearly a half hour to work through certain songs because they catch so many details in performance, sound, etc, that they have to go back and talk about it. Paulina the drummer (Pau for short, pronounced 'POW') is fully capable of singing lead, as you saw here when she switched back and forth with Daniela (Dany), and does in about 10% of their songs - you'll get PLENTY of recommendations to see her show off that aspect of her bottomless well of talent, and she does have a natural little bit of a fry, or rasp to her voice which she can switch on and off... Oh! Be ready for a million recommendations to come at you to react to her singing 'Hurt' with Dead Poet Society (DPS). In fact, hell, I'll just post a link here so you don't have to go hunt for it - it's a crowd cam but very good quality: ua-cam.com/video/oPay2KTYcY8/v-deo.html DPS offered to have Pau come out and and sing with them and she basically stepped on stage and took it over for that performance. This performance spurred a collaboration between DPS and The Warning in which Dany and Pau [EDIT: And Ale] went into the studio with DPS and did an actual studio recording of 'Hurt'. It was released TODAY and it's a BANGER. In the live version of Choke you get to see bassist, Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AL-lay) sing a couple lines alone - that's the unicorn moment, because she hates singing lead. She's got a gorgeous, smoky voice with a beautiful little vibrato and great range, and we all wish we could hear it more. Choke is played at this concert so you'll get to it.
Thank you so much! Haha, love the warning! I’m totally ready to get hooked and rewind all the way. I can already tell there’s so much to catch each time. Paulina’s voice is amazing, and that Hurt collab with DPS is definitely on my list now. Also, can’t wait to hear Alejandra take the lead on Choke. So much talent in this band!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!! The Future Of ROCK from Monterrey Mexico, The Villarreal Vélez sisters: Daniela "Dany" (guitar, lead and backing vocals, piano) The Lightning riff maker. Paulina "Pau" (drums, lead and backing vocals, piano, and also songwriter for the band) Drum Bombardment from the heavens (Huge Pau Fan here). Pau won the Drumeo 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year award. Alejandra "Ale" (bass guitar, piano, backing vocals) Thunder Goddess. She plays a Spector 5 string that she helped design, it's called Ale's Inferno. She also has a blue Spector 5-string...fire and ice. Ale's been playing Spector since age 13, and signed with Spector at 15. The Villarreal Vélez sisters were raised in Monterrey, and all received training on various instruments at an early age. At some point in their childhood, Daniela and Paulina had selected guitar and drums as their primary instruments, respectively. When the youngest of the three, Alejandra, selected bass guitar as her primary instrument at about age 7, the sisters decided to form a rock power trio in 2013. They learned to play rock songs, often via the Rock Band video game series, and posted videos of their performances to UA-cam. In 2014, 12-year-old Paulina was profiled in the women's drumming publication Tom Tom Magazine. The band first gained widespread notice later in 2014 when, at ages 9 through 14, their UA-cam video in which they performed Metallica's "Enter Sandman" went viral among rock music fans, eventually earning more than 20 million views. The video received attention from Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, who offered particular praise for Paulina, saying, "The drummer kicks maximum ass!" PS: This Band is exceptional in Live setting, The Energy is through the roof !!!!! ⚡Viva The WARNING⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA/PauFan🤘😎🤘.
love watching reactors faces when they realize Pau (the drummer) can sing and is actually amazing. 1:38 "I'm ready for The Warning" No, you're not. NOBODY IS🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes The Warning are excellent live, but it worth starting with studio version and then doing the live, so you can then see just how good they are live. Bear in mind they do also use backing tracks and sometimes they include vocals. Especially on the newer material. But whatever you do, make sure to NOT say anything even remotely negative about this band or the blinkered section of TWA will turn on you, as you must ALWAYS praise and be in awe of this band and say everything they do is amazing even when you think it isn't. I, on the other hand, don't care about upsetting fellow members of TWA and will always call things as I see them.
Thank you for the information! I think it's great to be honest about your thoughts-everyone should be able to enjoy the music in their own way. I will never shy away from being honest. It wouldn't feel genuine to me.
The volume of the performance seems low,. There is a new setting in UA-cam videos called Stable Volume, which tends to muffle live performances, so make sure this is turned off.
All that energy and all that performance excellence while they are all suffering from the flu - Pau worst of all and on steroids to help - and at over 7,000 feet of elevation. While this is at the beginning of the concert, their energy didn't flag - ever.
Just wait til you get to Dust to Dust/Dull Knives. You might poop your pants. Also when you get to Black Holes and Breathe you might find yourself sobbing. English subs are a requirement for Breathe unless you speak spanish.
The studio version is fantastic! I think it’s the second Warning song I ever saw, and it set the hook for me (Money was the first!) Also, Teatro Metrapolitan is almost better live than this one!
When not performing they are humble, wholesome (rarely curse), down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist. They all exude confidence and charisma.
When you fall down The Warning rabbit hole, you can’t go back!!
Excellent band summary 👍
Thank you so much for this!
Thanks Gabriel!!
WOW ! THANK YOU SIR !!!
I found TW about a year ago. I am absolutely a fan for LIFE.
I wonder, Can I be a member of TWA when all my knowledge of the band has come through TWA ? 🤔
I AM ABSOLUTELY A FAN OF
⚡ THE WARNING ARMY ⚡
FOR LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU
AND Ale turned 20 YESTERDAY!
The Pau cam is one of the greatest technological advances in our lifetimes.
I've always said if they put the camera on Paulina every time she did something cool, Ale and Dany wouldn't get any camera time LOL.
I love this comment ⚡⚡⚡🎯
✌️💖🎼🎶🎶
Ale's double base slide at 9:05 always gets me !! love it...
Racking in a double load...
I just love how they turned up the volume on her bass and mic for this show
My first live of TW was in a tiny Toronto club with a one-foot stage elevation.
Upcoming songs Z, 23, Kool-Aid Kids, Dust to Dust are great
Can't to listen to more!
Still, there's several (perhaps surprising) developments that greatly helped fulfill all that early promise:
- Their work ethic and discipline (leading to exceptionally tight live performances).
23 songs for their 10th anniversary-that’s wild! They’re so young, but they’ve got such a huge catalog already. Thank you so much for the information!
The new Rush !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The composition/arrangement quality of the songs on their Error record is just off the charts. Error is a masterpiece.
You are on the right track Sir. This whole Pepsi Center show is unbelievable and a glimpse into what The Warning has in store for 2025-2026.
Love that you're watching this whole show in order! It's kind of cool that you won't already be familiar with any of the songs going into it.
When the full Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert was published on UA-cam, I got a notification, started watching it, stayed until the end and became an instant fan. So I was introduced to them through this live recording.
Live is how I was introduced to them, opening in Monterrey for MUSE, then immediately became my favorite band.
These three can go from banger to melodious in one note so smoothly you have to hear it to believe it. To many, myself included, they're inspirational beyond music.
Enjoy the ride - no bad songs from them and definitely a LIVE band per excellence.
Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Without exaggerating, this is seriously one of my favorite pro-shot live concerts I've ever seen. I need this on Blu-ray!
We all need this on Disc....best I have ever seen in 60+ years!!! (Hold that thought, the KMF tour in CDMX coming up, hope they do the same).
I discovered this band about the same time you did. I just saw them live for the 1st time this fall. They are an OUTSTANDING live band aren't they!!
Damn Ale’s double slide toward the end is just so satisfying. 🇨🇱🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻😎
Try listening to "Dust to Dust" as well as "Dull Knives (Cut Better)" in any old version, studio or live and then switch to the Pepsi Center version where they played the songs back-to-back. You will see the difference. They are simply playing live better and better.
You got it! Thank you for this!
Wow! Thank you so much for the information!
This concert is amazing. One thing to keep in mind is that Dany and Ale are recovering from the flu. Pau is so sick from the flu that they considered canceling the concert, but she got some good drugs and she decided to power through.
You have three women who can front a band, each playing their part. They are all amazing.
❤️⚡🤘
When I first started listening to TW a few years ago, I used to laugh to myself when I would read comments like, "They don't know how to write a bad song!'", I don't laugh at those comments anymore. I'm not saying every song by them is the best song ever written but they're all good & you can't say that about too many bands. The energy they give off playing "live" is crazy & like you said, you can feel it. I'm glad you're liking what you've seen so far because it just gets better. ⚡🤘
happy bday ale!
One of the best bands in the world today, absolutely great writing.
I never tire watching people’s reaction to this amazing band! Just subbed for more Warning reactions ❤ yay!
Thank you so much for the sub!
Great comment on the meaning of the song. Social media has met it's objective to the detriment of most of us.
Great breakdown of Disciple! You really captured the whole message about manipulation and control. I love how Dany and Pau show both sides of it! Thank you for the information!
Advice from the band: if you think the song is too short, just play it again 😂
Man, I check out a reaction video, immediately followed by watching the Pepsi center all over again 😅. This girls 😊
You are definitely in for a treat. This concert is fantastic ! 🤟🏼🎸🥁🎸🤟🏼
Awesome reaction... Can't wait to watch the show (yet again) with you! Keep em coming. 😊
Welcome!!! Tedx Talks 2016,2017 Made me a fan for LIFE! Thank You
⚡ YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ⚡
Yes, please do both of these Tedx talks. The first one is from when they just started writing their first album and the second one a year later when it is finally done. They play three songs in each with some talking in between. They are only 11, 14 and 16 years old in the first one, but you could already see their greatness. They will surprise you.
The title of the 2016 one is "Young Girls Love to Rock" and the one from 2017 "You've been warned!". Both from TEDxUniversityofNevada.
@@ancltubeYes! Both TEDx presentations.👍👍
Thank you so much!
But 2016,2017 are like two sides of a whole (a box set)
Thank you fellow fan !!! ✌ and 😊
Pau, the Drummer, takes lead on several songs here.
Nice!
You didn't just fall down the rabbit hole... you were just thrown down the rabbit hole! Enjoy the ride!!
Hahaha you are not lying
The whole concert is amaizing, you will be amazed as you continue at how talented these grirls are. This is a great concert to start at as you will hear songs from all four of their albums spanning their entire writings so far from ages 10, 13 and 15 until this concert when they were 18, 21 and 23.
What a titeling question ............... this video among many many many others is the proof!
I love it when someone can admit they were wrong. That makes it more real.
The new masters of rock:
The Warning ⚡
For now I subscribe to your channel because I hope to see many more reactions and opinions from you about my favorite band of all time.
Thank you and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽
🤘😁✌️
.
Thank you so much for the heartfelt comment and glad to have you onboard!
Yes live they are just excellent. Looking forward to brixton london uk 5k capacity its gonna be fun
You need to see them live if you get the chance.
The Warning!! 🔥 🤘
As the reaction went on it was so easy to see what was happening to you…….. 🤯
Yeah, live is so good - their music was all written with live performances in mind - often the weaker side of some bands. There are very few bands who are that good live, I know that in my past I’ve listened to bands on the radio or off a record and when I managed to see them live it was a disappointment, very different to what I originally heard.
To follow on anything from the same concert would be great!
Yes! That's why I love watching bands live! They are incredible!
I did not notice that! Thank you for that!
Welcome deeper into The Warning rabbit hole. I've been down here approximately 7...8 years. No no, I do NOT want to come up!
Greetings from the Nightwishland a.k.a Finland 🇫🇮
Just find the video of the entire show at Pepsi Centre on their channel and react to it song by song, can't miss.
Welcome, Warning newbie. Pau is a powerhouse, vocally and as a drummer! Choose any song (especially Live) and it will be your new favorite.
Their 2016 TEDx is also highly recommended.👍
Thank you so much!
Awesome to know! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Oh yes Pau can sing, you're not done with her, believe me ;-)
One of the best singers.
The do have backup singers. There were 8000 of them there that night...:)
Enjoy your journey. Subbed for more TW.
Ty so much!
To me, I hear the three of them differently like this: Dany has a bit of a rock growl, Pau has a rock fiestyness, and Ale's voice is very smooth.
Their first TEDx was in 2016 if you haven't watched it go and do so, it is well worth it.
that's the way the band love to play with Latin crowd. they're loud!
Let's gooooooo!!!! Love when reactors start at the beginning of this concert. We'll be here for every one of them. Nice reaction brutha!
Thank you so much!
lol that is illegal! Leaving us wanting more.
Yes! haha
Pau has an awesome voice
Yup, this about sums it up! ⚠️⚡️
Thank you for watching and the recommendations!
But the MTV VMAs performance is... wow... magic.
Thank you for this info! I will definitely make sure to do this!
The lead singer and drummer also trade vocals on one of their new songs, SHARKS. The studio version is ok but it's stunning live.
Yes! Thank you!! Although there are songs where I prefer other performances, this concert is the best overall, especially if you take sound quality and videography into account (which I can't help doing). If possible, please react to the video they played for the crowd in the interval when you get there, for a bit "behind the scenes"..
Hell yeah. Up next : Z. Let's go!

Yeah Pau works her tail off to be able to keep her core stable for singing while drumming!! These ladies have earned their fame and you're coming in at the exact right time!! 🤘😝🤘
If you read the last line in the lyrics YOU WILL UNDERSTAND .
😂
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!
The Future Of ROCK from Monterrey Mexico, The Villarreal Vélez sisters:
Daniela "Dany" (guitar, lead and backing vocals, piano) The Lightning riff maker.
The video received attention from Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, who offered particular praise for Paulina, saying, "The drummer kicks maximum ass!"
PS: This Band is exceptional in Live setting, The Energy is through the roof !!!!!
⚡Viva The WARNING⚡
NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA/PauFan🤘😎🤘.
Love this! Thank you so much for the information!
Cover of Enter Sandman when there were children😂 ❤🎉
🤘🤘🔥🔥
I think it's time for Dust to Dust/Dull Knives from Pepsi Center!
Tedx 2017 is a great option, but it's a longer video, might have to work up to that.
Short answer: Yes, they are better live.
Their live performances have more energy and more variety in sound arrangement and vocal texture.
🤘🏼⚡️🤘🏼
🤘🏻⚡️🔥
love watching reactors faces when they realize Pau (the drummer) can sing and is actually amazing.
1:38 "I'm ready for The Warning"
No, you're not.
Thank you for this! I didn't know and will check now!
We would like to hear the song too.
of course! Their live music video is in the bio!
check "Narcisista Live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 08/29/2022" Pau vocals are so great
DPA forever!
All that energy and all that performance excellence while they are all suffering from the flu - Pau worst of all and on steroids to help - and at over 7,000 feet of elevation. While this is at the beginning of the concert, their energy didn't flag - ever.
Insane that they were ill and they sound this good still! Thank you for this information!
⚠️ ⚡ 💛 ⚡ ⚠️
Just wait til you get to Dust to Dust/Dull Knives. You might poop your pants. Also when you get to Black Holes and Breathe you might find yourself sobbing. English subs are a requirement for Breathe unless you speak spanish.
🤩😘
DPA 🔥🔥🔥 TWA 🤘🤘🤘 UK ⚡⚡⚡
Warning pro-tip: the live version is always better
Please react to Dust to Dust/Dull knives live Pepsi center . Trust me 😂
👍👋NZ🇳🇿🙏twa
The studio version is fantastic! I think it’s the second Warning song I ever saw, and it set the hook for me (Money was the first!) Also, Teatro Metrapolitan is almost better live than this one!
