    I am from Kathmandu University, Nepal, who is recently studying environmental engineering (1st year). Few days back, heard someone saying this engineering is of no use. Kind Of felt bad. But this video really boosted up my confidence. Thankyou!! Gonna shut everyone's mouth becoming an environmental engineer, who call it waste of time

    Are Environmental Engineers usually Chem E or something........my school offers a relatively obscure "Energy Engineering" degree. I'm thinking about taking it....switching over from Mechanical.

    • @AceofDlamonds

      *****
      Sticking to Mechanical :)

    • @AceofDlamonds
      @AceofDlamonds 8 років тому +1

      *****
      The "Energy Engineering" line seemed too specialized. Advisors told me clearly it was only available at the branch campus I'm attending now. There's not even a degree for it in the main Purdue campus. It's a subset of the Mech Engr department too and the curriculum to a certain point is the same. Then it diverges after the essential Calculus, Physics, and Thermodynamics stuff is complete. I figured it would be safer sticking to Mechanical. Though I may try for a second opinion and see what I can do.

La mayoría de los hablantes del español nos encontramos en Hispanoamérica, conformando unos 375 millones de personas. Depends on your location. In the USA, many states require a 4 year degree in engineering discipline with minimal exceptions. You won’t qualify for the PE exam with a masters in engineering without those 4 years. Call your state engineer board with that question or talk to academic advisors!
