just got the 2024 nline sonata trim a few days ago. definitely like the styling, etc. but here are several initial criticisms. 1. WHY oh WHY did hyundai flip the buttons on the steering wheel to make the radio and volume on the right and cruise on control on the left. super uncomfortable. it's always been volume and radio on the left side, why change it. stupid in my opinion. 2. why no spare tire. there's literally an actual empty hole in the trunk for it. i don't feel safe driving around with that tire inflation kit. 3. no rear air vent on the center console in the nline 2024 but apparently will be added on the 2025 meanwhile international versions of the 2024 nline have this feature included, as well some other features which i can't recall at the moment. 4. the drive mode. (there's only normal, sport, and my drive), why is there no eco or smart mode like in all the previous years' versions of the sonata. 5. very odd that you have to move the wiper lever downward for the individual single wipe. in the 20+ years of driving about 10 different cars, this is the first time i've encountered that. why would they change that. it has ALWAYS ALWAYS been to move the lever up for the single wipe. very weird. i think that's about it for now. as i keep driving, i'm sure ill notice more things.
I've own one since February and he's some things. It's funny, i'm only 23 and the 2 things you've never seen in other cars I've seen in the few cars I've owned. I've seen the audio controls on the right side of the steering wheel much more than the left in my experience. And in my Nissan Sentra the wiper blade was the same way as the sonata. It's not just some random thing Hyundai is doing. Also I don't know why they couldn't just make all the modes dedicated but there's a my drive mode where you can change it to eco, but then if you wanted to use sport+ you would have to go back in again and change it in the my drive
@@derron9626 yep exactly right about the drive. stupid that they didn't make them dedicated just like you said. each time you gotta go back into settings and change from eco, to sport, to sport+, to smart, etc.
Everything you names about weird locations of buttons and stuff. All 8 cars I've owned (all different makes) have had that, so that all sounds normal to me. Maybe you got used to there weird style and now they got with the program on everything else
I have researched the Korean, Australian and Canadian versions of the n line and you get basically everything feature that comes from the limited standard for the n line in their versions which is crazy to me. I would rather pay the money for an N line that has very clear more detailed HUD, rear passenger window shades, heated and ventilated seats, rear console/back air vents, heated rear seats I believe; rear windshield motorized shade (Aussie version if I remember correctly), and 4 or 5 way passenger seat as well. They absolutely screw us in the American versions. For the exterior lower front fascia You don't get the lower marker lights in Canada and Australia. They also have better exterior color options. This also goes for the Tuscon as well, different paints/shades of American paint options. The Tuscons feature turbo as well in their areas and not America version
What's particularly frustrating is the fact North American models don't get some of the features this Korean market model does. No 360 camera, no blind spot in dash monitors, no Heads Up, no painted calipers, no rear parking sensors. Not sure about the rear amber turn signals, I can't find anything on UA-cam, but I realize some countries mandate rear ambers on all vehicles. South Korea may be one of them, I don't know. I honestly believe most Sonata buyers would be willing to pay a little more to get those features. Come on Hyundai, quit treating us like dollar store customers, give us the entire trim package.
We don’t have the Heads Up Display, BSVM, or surround view parking cameras on our N Lines for some odd reason. I’m probably going to try getting one from Canada with the features I want, if it’s not too much of a hassle. The HUD and parking cameras alone are dealbreakers for me.
@@strongestavenger3085 Those aren’t the only options not available either. No auto close trunk button, No memory seats, No vents in the back seats or heated rear seats, No Eco mode, and No Sport+ mode
What is it with these black side rear view mirrors, which should match the body color of the car. In most cases many brands of cars have half the rear-view mirrors painted to match the body color. Hyundai has models with matching body color side mirrors. What's with the full black, is it supposed to look sporty, it's not sporty to me, they look like two huge black heads out of place. I will admit, white is the only color which MAY be acceptable with these black mirrors.
I love how other countries get more options on n line and we get lower options in states
Fr😂
And we dont have it in Germany😢😂
This véhicule is not sell in France. Too much ecotax.
Thank you! Your work is that of a pro! Perfect!

And yet you still bought it? 🫣
The sonata does have an ECO mode
This is what the Elantra N should have looked like very nice body lines.
I drive an Audi S5 but Hyundai knocked it out of the park with the exterior design.
Yeah audi's former designer now works for hyundai/kia
Wow ! This look is perfect. ❤
I love This Car one day I will have my own
Honda sonata hybrid and gas ⛽ i love her❤😍
Thanks for honda N line giving this wonderful Car 🚨🚗🚨
Why is the Sonata N model sold in the United States different? There are some differences, for example the front, the blinker is different
We get the base model version for some reason

Why the side turning signal remind me the F10 M5? 1:50
Эти тонкие поворотники, бледные некто и не увидет.
Hey, can you please provide information or a link to the black hyundai sonata n line hood emblem and black trunk emblem? Thanks!
Bellissima.

هيونداي كوري
And they get heated and ventilated seats man wtf the ones in US don’t have that
All this but no heated steering wheel for the US model. That is rediculous
Диски не идут
Sonata N Line olaman
Those headlights are way too dramatic for a sub 300 hp cheaper car lol
Нет технических характеристик.
Ugly car. Their best sonata exterior so far has been the 2015-17 sonata.
