cfl is not a joke, you sports snobs take sports too seriously, everything has to be perfect, cfl, the fans have fun, the players, even sportcasters. it is only a game. cfl is only fun sport anymore. grey cup was fun to watch. congrats calgary.

The punt returned for a TD, in my opinion, if not the most amazing play I have ever seen in sports, it's in my top 5 moments ever. Might even out do the Miti Stegail TD for Winnipeg in roughy 2006.
In all, this is why I love Canadian Football. It's not my favourite team sport but it's a very close second. :)

Actually guys now I think about it, it is the most amazing play I have ever seen in Canadian Football (top 5 of team sports worldwide) ever snice I started in 2001 (seen alot though like every almost every Grey Cup snice the 1950s due to UA-cam). It had my mouth drop wide open out of shock when I saw it live on TV then (sadly ESPN in Australia doesn't do the Grey Cup anymore, they should be protested against). It is amazing!

Could have watched some NFL games while this was happening, but I choose to watch this game, and glad I did. The game was very enjoyable. Best part of the game was definitely that 97 yard punt return TD.

@@ez-qz3lq No, don't get wrong. The SB is always exciting and I do love a defensive show. But the Rams played as if their hearts weren't into it. Meanwhile, the Patriots kept kicking their butts, more than the 13-3 score would indicate....

What’s disappointing is that the highlights only have 6k views a day after. US doesn’t care. I hope LFA can help grow the sport and help CFL with their social media. Try getting Jakob McDonald review the game, maybe you can get an additional 10k views.

Was this not shown on espn2? Based on the comments here US doesn’t care about the league. I suggest the CFL get the Mexican league to use 3 down football and utilize the 67 million possible new fan base.

Just for the record for a time the CFL DID expand into the US; unfortunately it couldn't compete with the revenue monster that is the NFL.
That said plenty of Americans LOVED the game; and up here in Toronto I take my American friends (often NFL fanatics) out to watch the Argos and they totally love it. It's a fast-paced, action-packed game with tons of strategy and jeopardy. I'm glad you love the game - it's the original Football in North America and I think the better variant. :)

OceanBlue , why would you watch a video about the grey cup ? Since , as you say "the CFL sucks" But to answer you question 1) the grey cup is usually played close to thanksgiving weekend : that should be obvious , Thursday 3 NFL games . Friday 3 CFB games including 15 washington vs 7 washington state Saturday CFB all day Sunday NFL all day . 2) In May is the weekend before CFL preseason, NBA finals are winding down . During the summer sunday night is a great time to watch football.
Mark , that's right . But ABC will never show pro football . Only NCAA . Right now I have to streamline my phone to my TV so I can watch football on Sunday nights June -August

That Year was my 2nd Year of being a Season Ticket Holder, I was Happy the the Stamps won the Cup on my 2nd Year and whats better was the 2018-2019 NLL Season was also my 2nd Year for being a Season Ticket Holder for the Calgary Roughnecks (NLL) and on my 2nd Year of being a Roughneck Season Ticket Holder, Calgary Roughnecks won the NLL Cup.
For me, it was awesome of being a 2nd Year Season Ticket Holder for the Calgary Stampeders and the Calgary Roughnecks, because both thous years, Calgary were Champions, the Grey Cup (2018) and the NLL Cup (2018-2019)
On January 10th 2020, I got an email from the Roughnecks saying that the 2018-2019 Season Ticket Holders can order themselves a Championship Ring and they have until January 20th 2020 to order them, so I bot myself one and now I have a 2019 Championship Ring of the Calgary Roughnecks.
Being a Season Ticket Holder for both Calgary Teams were the Best Years of my Life (So far).
The 2018 Grey Cup Final, I was watching it at Home on TSN.
The 2019 NLL Cup Final was my 1st Championship Game I've ever been to.
And the 2019 Grey Cup Final was my 1st Grey Cup Final that I've ever been to.

I like CFL football as much as NFL football. I think the best thing that could happen with the CFL would be for it to partner with the NFL instead of America forcing a new XFL league that no one wants to watch . The NFL could fund the CFL and help promote it in the states and air it on TV all over the US the CFL would become very popular ! Better yet EA sports MAKE A CFL FOOTBALL VIDEO GAME ALREADY. If a videogame developer made a CFL video game that was awesome it could thrust CFL into the mainstream even faster than the NFL partnership . I would love to be able to watch CFL football live in the states . For now I am stuck with youtube games after they play .
