    Happy Disability Pride Month, everyone!
    Remember, what you perceive as a weakness can be your greatest strength. Take Toph Beifong from Avatar for example; because of her blindness, she became the greatest earthbender of all time, invented metalbending, and passed on her skills to Avatar Aang, who used those in his fight against Fire Lord Ozai and saved the world!

    It should properly be addressed as Disability Empowerment Month. Don't tarnish it with another "celebration" month.

      It doesn't really "tarnish" it, but it would be better for avoiding confusion

    I like this video. I’m an autistic adult and I don’t see a character I can FULLY relate to yet. Disney, can you please make a full length animated film WITH people on the spectrum working on it? Representation Matters for us Neurodivergents

    • @Austar7
      @Austar7 Рік тому +3

      I read an internet theory a few years ago that Lilo could have autism. I like the theory since I have autism myself, but that's pretty much it; a theory. Nothing confirmed by Disney.

      @Mason Jenks I don't think you should speak for everyone, there.
      It might matter to you, but not to all people with Autism, who might just prefer living life and enjoying their entertainment, regardless of anything largely unnecessary as representation.
      Like anyone else, Autistic people aren't a monolith and one or some don't represent all of them.

      I remember when entertainment was about entertainment not idnentity polictics. This is why Disney is putting people in the unemployment line.

      Not to be confused for LGBT pride, which is in June.

    This is a joke. As a disabled adult since birth, this is ignorant and very condescending to the disabled community.

    Thank you for posting this Disney. Throughout the month of July, I’ve hardly seen (or seen none at all) any large chain companies or non-disabled personalities try and represent Disability Pride Month. It makes me very happy to see that Disney recognizes disabled people, especially when others don’t want to represent us. 🤍
