Ill always just stick to grinding. People offering to help others play better for a fee just sounds bad to me, but I get it some people are trying to make some side money can't blame them. Also understand some people want to get really good at the game, see their name posted in top rankings or get expensive prize cards or winner cards. I manage to go 7-3 at regional this year off of grinding games on the sim, playing with people at locals and practicing alone.
Really insightful video and im here to beg you to upload some sim/ training vids where you talk about your thought process and such. Im sure many people with your same passion to improve will watch and appreciate them :) me included im really trying to learn blue doffy on a higher level 👍🏻
Imho being good at a tcg is a bit of a lonely road. My biggest successes have been when I dont let other's people thought poison my judgement and creating techs no body has ever thought off. Just keep grinding study the economics of the game and base yourself on fundamentals not others people game sense.
I think it's an eye opener to see and hear that these resources are available but depending on your play level I feel just comes to understanding the matchups. Coming from me though I am just a casual player and don't play any of the higher top events. Only played in one regional and I just played something casual and under the rug.
I mean the main thing is the training circles. I don't have one and I know that is the main issue behind my bad plays. Went 6-4 once in online Regio after being 5-1 so I really wished I had more people to have insight on my games.
There’s plenty of great free information in the community if you put the time in and study the meta you should be fine it’ll teach you more and cost you less.
I feel like coaching is just paying to access a "community' that you may not have. It's really hard to make it solo. Also, good luck achieving your goals.
Also finished the video and very confused. Everything was very wishi-washi. He was good, he was bad, it was worth, it wasn’t worth. Need to stand on some strong points. This back and forth is hinting that you swing at life and then at characters and need coaching on sequencing.
@@ArmdayTCG im sorry the video didn't feel very concise to you. I was hoping to shed light on both the things I thought were good and bad, so that's why it maybe didn't feel as definitive as I would've liked. My main point that I was trying to make was that all 4 coaches are good at what they do, and have their own strengths, but I don't think it economically makes sense for a vast majority of people to pay these sorts of prices for individualized coaching.

What was Impact's doffy vs BY theory compare to Cody's?
I was one of the BY who faced Impact on day 2 in Dallas and I got DESTROYED by him

I am also very interested in coaching and was always wondering where i can find people who offer it

THE 🐐 MUSTAAAAAARD
Only for the sacrifice i sub,
It’s all a scam. Just ask people at locals to help you. And practice!!
Yoo do you play in PNW? Think I’ve seen you at Zulu and in Springfield OR Store Regionals.
@@superbob94000 yes im from seattle. Zulus in the only local I really go to and I lost in final round of springfield 😭

I play by myself and I do fine, you just have to believe (in yourself).

@ This is a good elaboration/summation actually. Cheerio!
No tcg meant for casuals and first tcg players need coaching it isn't yugioh or magic
one piece has better prizing than yugioh by a huge margin. It actually makes more sense to be competitive in one piece
