Oh my God girl that came how awesome I never thought of ever doing anything like that but Hey I guess if my teacher can do it I guess I can try I thought it came out awesome and I love the colors and also I did not know that all micropouters were transparent...❤❤❤❤
Thank you I live in Louisiana and I wasn’t there, but it is terrible horrible what happened evil lurks his head but we pray for people too and their families for their loss
I think the bowl is beautiful. And that navy…told ya! 😉 It’s just so rich looking to me. Now I’ve got to go check the channel where you learned how to do the bowl.
The bowl is awesome 👍 I think the reason the resin ran off the base is like you said.. it is to slick. When crafting vases in the past I have had to spray paint the glass vase. I have also used modge podge first before acrylic paint. I have not tried resin yet but will now. Lol. Best of luck to you. Great work. Thanks for inspiring me. Just thought that maybe some light sand paper might do the trick.
That bowl is beautiful! For a first effort, it’s worth being proud of the result. Too bad about the vase, but you’ll figure it out, no doubt about it. That drizzle tool is pretty cool. I use markers frequently and haven’t had too much trouble with them rubbing off. Though, I use mostly UV resin and often cover the marker in resin after its applied.
Your bowl is beautiful! I haven't tried one, but I will! I'm looking for a quality table top tripod, for the same reason you are. I'll keep you posted if I find one.
I would say it was a great first try. Love the color choices. My advice would be to wipe the Vase down really good with alcohol before you start that will will prevent the fish eyes. Also, I wonder if using the table top resin vs the casting resin would be better. Why I say this is because it's a coating resin so like for tumblers and such. I used it on my rose cube and it coated all four sides perfectly and not a ton of it ran off. Does that make sense?
I’m wondering if your resin was too thin??? I love watching Mixed Media Girl, she got me started in paint pouring. I have done the vases with paint pouring but not with resin. So I am curious as well to what happened. I LOVE your bowl ❤❤❤❤ with your next bowl, try using a scalloped edged mold, when placing it into the bowl to shape it, it will naturally give you those bends. I am following you on FB, however I am unable to share pictures. Not sure if it’s just me??? Would love to share things and see what others have done.
I tried doing this and I did it in all mica powder it is still sitting in my craft room I had no opaque color.I have had the same issue with the chrome makers love the way it looks but hate that it comes off so I tend not to use them. Love your Bowl.
Those colours are stunning! The vase could be affected by the oil on your hands. Maybe cleaning it with alcohol before you pour would help. I love your bowl. ❤️
No I have never tried it but I always wanted to but I was kind of afraid to because I never do anything right I always try but somewhere along the line I always mess up and I get very frustrated with it
I love your bowl. When I use the Let’s Resin chrome markers I always go over it with gloss varnish to seal it afterwards. I am looking at the jDiction markers because they say that they are waterproof. Have you tried them? Let me know
That bowl is amazing. Love the colors. Reminds me of Vincent van Gogh Starry Night painting. Just my 1 cent
😁 thank you and I gotta go look that up ! 🤣
Fantastic job with your first bowl!! To me, it gives me Van Gogh vibes!! Bummer about the vase, but like you said, you can pour over it next time!! 💙
The bowl turned out awesome😊
The bowl is beautiful ❤️ Wonderful color choices!
Thanks my friend 🧡
Tammy that Bowl turned out really pretty and those colors WOW are absolutely beautiful, great job:)

Love the bowl colors. It turned out amazing. Maybe on the vase, you might have spread the clear resin first? Makes me wonder. Have a blessed day.
You did a bang up job on the bowl 😮! I like the thickness and the colors are beautiful. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks my friend ❣️

It takes courage to try something new, but you did great for the first time. I will be anxiously waiting for your next one. 😊
I love the bowl it is great for a first try Tammy ❤❤❤

Bowl is beautiful. Sorry the vase didn't work out. ❤Gail
Great first try!!!
The bowl is pretty.
It keeps the flow your right
Tammy!!! I have never thought about that ever with Mica powders! But you are right!
Yeah I like it I love the outside the inside kind of looks dull but it still looks cool I love that bullet it's pretty cool
the bowl is gorgeous tammy!! love the colors!! i've never tried one. thanks! xo
I think the bowl turned out well, and now you know what to do with the vase in the future❤️❤️❤️
Thanks, my friend ❣️ I can't wait to try another
When I use the chrome makers or even any markers I always put a thin coat of UV on top of it.
Maybe try sanding the vase to give it some texture so the resin will adhere

I use little polystyrene balls to put behind the curles
Excellent first go.
Thanks 😊
I believe you are right about the clear so that the others will flow better.
😉
i think you need to sand the vase to help the resin stick to it, hope this helps xx
Tammy… I have not done this yet either! I think you had a very good first try! And I do love those colors of the tray! Very beautiful
Bowl looks great! The outside reminds me of the Starry Night painting. I have not been brave enough to try one yet.
Your bowl is beautiful! I haven't tried one, but I will! I'm looking for a quality table top tripod, for the same reason you are. I'll keep you posted if I find one.
The bowl is beautiful. I’ve never made one but I may have to try one.
I love the bowl it is so beautiful

Love the bowl. Sad the vase did not do what you wanted but it is still pretty❤
I like it it came out really cool
Thanks Robin 😊
Yeah I don't understand that it's supposed to stay on and yes I've had that happen to me too where it's rubbed off
its a great first try, i look forward to your redo because we know you are going to do it again lol

I love your bowl. ❤️
How perplexing is that when it didn’t stick to the vase? I loved the bowl!! It’s gorgeous!!!!
No I have never tried it but I always wanted to but I was kind of afraid to because I never do anything right I always try but somewhere along the line I always mess up and I get very frustrated with it
You have to wipe it down a couple of times with alcohol! If one oil is on it at all the resin will not stick!
I don’t think you’re supposed to use acrylic since it’s water based in resin. The bowl is beautiful!
My heart break for the families in Louisiana!! 😥 so many things going on..
So sad prayers for the family’s and for our country

👏🏻👍🏻😀
I was looking for nature soap llc and I can’t find it.
Hey Tammy, did you tag Marcy from MM Girl? She’s very helpful and responsive.
♥️♥️🇦🇺
I don't believe you give yourself enough credit. It looks like you've hand painted in the center there.
Viewing from the caribbean sorry about your vase tammy but your bowl came out goregous
