I don't always listen to Hank, but when I do so do my neighbors
Your exactly right😅

Same with DAC
Imagine throwing a party so lit that the ghost of Hank SR pulls up.
Hank SR: Got any beer?
Jr: Yeah we have bee- dad?
Which I think was played by hank's boy hank's the 3rd. He looked like grandpa.
in his hot rod ford
Everybody loved Hank Williams Senior so his son follow along pretty dang good
Shit I had parities so lit Hendrix,Morrison, and Ole Hank were there and then Sam Kinison showed up to close the show!
These were the best times. Had so much fun while America was still free!!!
What is it you could do then that you can’t do now?
@@greenAbbot cant call someone the nword
Get on a phukin airplane without being treated like a damned slave.
Wish I was around these times
@@lololol1919❤😂❤
Jim Varney, Cheech and Chong, Kris Kristopherson, Waylon, Willie, damn this party is rockin’!!
🔥🤘
Jim is a Kentucky treasure and we miss him terribly
George Thoroughgood (I think that's how it's spelled)
and George Jones...He loved to party too.
Right on up there with Bill Monroe.
This will go down in history as the greatest music video of all time.
Though it's pretty sad seeing how many of the greats we've lost since then.
Interesting, Thriller is the greatest video ever made. This video is probably the best in acameo category.
Rusty Shackleford
POZED! This video is typical poz from the era. I just thank god that cable was not available in my city when this song was out as I was 15 and impressionable at that time.. Music videos completely destroyed music in the 80s. Some of the worst music became big hits because of the videos. Aha Take on Me is one of them.

This is fantastic. I can't believe it's my first time seeing it. Man oh man, CASH really needed to be in this one.
Cash had pretty much derowdyied by the time this came along lol
P
If you never noticed here’s a fun fact the this is at cash’s house… well some of it
And why wasn’t he? Waylon Willie George and earnest
This was filmed at Johnny Cash’s lake house
“I don’t know if I was or not; I was drunk!” - Merle Haggard, when asked if he was in this video. Classic response!!!
Love Haggard
I remember that too!!! It was a fun party with Oak Ridge Boys, Little Jimmy, Possum, Willie, Waylon, Kris, Cheech & Chong, Jim Varney, Porter, Mel Tillis, babes, beer music, even got Grandpa!!!!
xD
I miss these days.
One of the most star studded videos ever
This age of country music will always be my favorite. You know these guys have a hell of a lot of stories between all of them.
Probably like motley crue debauchery but with country instead so you don't hear it as much
There’s nothing no better than a huge bonfire, some ice cold beer, and rowdy friends having a damn good time. 💕💕❤️❤️
Just not to that song.
I wish that today's county was still like this
+Blake Hulsey - There's a lot of great country music out there today, it just isn't played on the radio. Give Sturgill Simpson, Whitey Morgan, Hellbound Glory, Turnpike Troubadours, and Cody Johnson Band a chance.
colter wall, and Tyler Childers are good too.
Ditto
Ain't that the truth!!! (country+rap=CRAP)
@@spormlastname267 I was thinking that myself! Don’t forget sturgil Simpson
Seen it a hundred times, but this was the first time I'd noticed Dickey Betts and George Thorogood on the bandstand. Rockin'!
Yeah and Cheech and Chong comes out of the limo lol
Should have had William Conrad there as well as Mike Connors.
This is a song from when Men were Men and Women were Women.. God Bless Hank Williams, Jr.
This was all shot at Johnny and June Cash's lake house, just so you know.
dare2dream4ever cool
I used to live about 10 miles from there it's in Hendersonville Tennessee
Thanks for info brother
He made a fortune off this song as relates to Monday night football
They must’ve been inside. I always wondered why Johnny Cash wasn’t in this video🧐
Remember when we put this on my answering machine before our parties, best time of my life. Miss you Son
That's a load of good ol' country souls right there. RIP to those that are no longer with us. You're all missed.
Nice comment.
How are you Gina D?
@@tommycalvin6347ciao Tommy! 😊😍😘💘❤️
I miss the beautiful women of the eighties and nineties they were the best...😢
What a National Anthem for all of us, Remember Monday Night Football.....
Too bad they pulled that off.Hank said what he thought too much for some I guess. He loves his Football and the Steelers.
This song was the basis of sound for the Monday Night Football Theme. The MNF theme just absolutes wreaks pure of this song. Damn travesty it was pulled.
I don't give a flying *F* how old Hank's MNF song was...it always got me so damned fired up throughout all the years for Monday Night Prime Time Football! ✌️😎🤘🍺🏈🍖🍗🥩🇺🇸
This video was recently voted "The #1 Country Video of All Time" by CMT. Bocephus has 3 in the top ten on that list.
LT1HILLINGHOE
And he is still not in the country music hall of fame. Damn shame how they treat him.
@@coltonswindell689 yeah his induction into hall of fame was way overdue. We knew he was getting in eventually.
.
Is that true? Gonna have to look that up.
His face when the women walk in cracks me up every time 😂😂😂
Smitty who notices his face when those girls walk through the door though?
Same here 😆 He's such a ham.
I know his face is so cheesy yet just right and funny
When you really think about it...this man not only carried his father's legacy he carried it to the fire and kept runnin' God bless ol' Hank Jr he's a dime a dozen. Just a good ol' boy.
If Hank only knew how many times he was the main part of our parties! Still love you man! Thanks for all the memories! Nobody can or will ever take your place!
The video features artists such as George Jones on a riding mower, Willie Nelson, Mel Tillis, Kris Kristofferson, Cheech and Chong, Waylon Jennings, Porter Wagoner, Little Jimmy Dickens, Jim Varney, George Thorogood, Paul Williams and several other celebrities in a party thrown by Hank Williams, Jr. At the end of the video, a ghost Cadillac flies into the night sky, referencing the fact that his father, Hank Williams, Sr., died while riding in a Cadillac.
when i saw Varney i pumped my fist. Aint nothin like a little Ernest P Worl am I right? Lol
Bobby bare as well
Slayer Hippy hank jr was a pimp in music industry
They invited Merle Haggard but he said he was drunk. 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Grassyknolldallas Correction... IS a pimp.
The story behind George Jones on the lawnmower is that his car got taken away because he had a drinking problem so he drove his mower to the liquor store
Ohhh that lifted square body is just a gem 💎
A man of culture
I remember when this was on regular rotation on CMT...even saw in on MTV a few times. When MTV was worth a f**k....
I bet MTV would ban it today because of the Confederate flag, that is, if they still played music videos today.
YOU AIN'T WORTH A FUCK NEITHER!!!
Fuck yeah hank was the undisputed king of country for 2 decades and he still kicks ass!!!
MTV is trash and as been for a long time. Ain't worth a fuk, your right.
back when country music was real country music and they didn't just let anybody with a voice jump on stage and sing. man how i miss the good ole days
The 35mm film of this needs to be found and scanned and uploaded in HD!
Bocephus waving goodbye to his daddy Luke the drifter in the end. That was so cool.
THIS BY FAR IS ONE OF THE TOP TEN VIDEOS OF THAT ERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And this was when the music video was young. We made it an event!!!
All time!
Yep, and it was an lost 80's hit country song from '84! :)
I would say forever rather then era. It has so many cool ppl this and young country video looks so fun
George Jones showing up on his tractor...CLASSIC !
+Rick OBrien Only something the possum could pull off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck would that have been a party too have been invited too!!!!!!!!!!!
+Marika Crockett ??? Vince gill was a baby when this video was made...
video was a parody to what really happened in the good old days.when George was at the peak of his off stage performances Tammy hide the keys to his car,she forgot about the tractor George went to town on the damn thing only George could pull something like that off !!!!!!!!!!
OK
+Marika Crockett Damn...Vince Gill is actually older than ME ! I'm eating crow right now, Marika!
I just heard the song yesterday for my first time ever.. and I can't stop blasting it!
Same
God damn right I love it ain't nothing going to match it
Questo video e molto divertente! 😂😍😍🎶🎸🎶💘❤️
this has got to be the best country music video of all time
This entire video was filmed at Johnny Cash's Old Hickory Lake home.
Wayne Carter NFL Monday night football
Wayne Carter q
Wayne Carter it caught on fire didn't it
Warren Carter was it really?
No, it most definitely was NOT filmed there!
I remember Hank, my daddy always had the radio on in the car or home, they'd be playing Hank, back right after WWII in the 40's, I grew up on Hank's music.
I'm pretty sure that any video that features George Jones on a riding mower qualifies as the best music video of all time!
He got around alot on that old thing drunk.
Vince Gill later asked George to spoof that incident again for the video for Vince's song "One more last chance." George happily obliged him.
one of the best videos ever
The MNF theme song for years. America knows a great song and good times. Rowdy friends, good times, party, football and Hank. Hell ya!
then liberals came along and f'd up monday night football by leting him go.
haven't watched an nfl game since. and now with them celebrating the likes of kaepershit screw the nfl.
Been a Hank Jr. fan forever...but it never stops amazing me where Paul Williams shows up in the world of music...definitely a lifetime member of the cool club.
whitewitchoz Paul
Williams ? Is he a singer?
Paul's brother Mentor Williams wrote Dobie Gray's hit Drift Away. Paul is now President of ASCAP...and he also wrote some of the best songs ever for many famous people.
@@alishataylor6017 he's a singer, a songwriter and an actor. For country fans, most notably Little Ennis Burdette in Smokey and the Bandit.
@@rockinredneck57 oh ok cool
@alishataylor6017 Paul is the guy calling Hank at the beginning of the video. He's also helping Little Jimmy Dickens carry a keg of beer later. Actor, singer, songwriter, legend.
George Jones, George Thorogood, William Lee Golden, Paul Williams, Junior Samples, Jim Varney, Willie Nelson, Cheech Marin, Tommy Chong, Waylon Jennings, Jimmy Dickens, Ernest Tubb..... YIKES!
Chris Christopherson?
Should have had Bo & Luke & Coy & Vance at the festivities together with Ben Jones aka Cooter as well as Enos and Cletus and Rosco and Boss Hogg, not to mention Orly County’s very own Sheriff Lobo.
Who's listening to this in 2021? Best memories in these songs!
Hank has always been my favorite country singer he is the very best of all time since 1974
during my "country boy" work-out sessions, hank was there & so was this song & some "wild turkey 101!! great times.
Think he meant your mom....
Hello how are you
All his rowdy friends have settled down
Ole Hank Jr is one of A kind.GOAT
I love videos like this when the artist includes so many other artists. An opportunity to see some of the legends who have passed on having a good time while they were here. Awesome video!
ALWAYS A GOOD TIME
STILL LOVE THIS SONG AS A METALHEAD.
I'd love to see a metal version of it with a video showing a who's who of metal legends like this.
@SEZWAH meh
@SEZWAH Mazel tov
I’d love a metal version of this
Hank Jr's music was birthed as a merger between traditional country, Southern rock and blues. He was a rebel in his early days. Listen to Family Tradition. I see old Lil Jimmy Dickens in there and Hank Sr driving the ghost car at the end. Great video. Never saw it before.
I was sobered before this song, now I'm hammered after it
Never recognized that was supposed to be his dad at the end. Thats cool
How else came back to this song during covid-19
Just noticed after all these years that at 1:17 Ernest is drinking a Mello Yello.
Whomever is playing that piano is killing it!!! Love that sound!
If my memory is correct, the keyboard crackerjack ( describing someone highly skilled & accomplished) is John Jarvis; certainly amongst the summit shelf sidemen.
When the NFL got rid of HANK that to me was the end of good foorball
Amen bro! Period!
I wish they still made music like this
The glorious 80's!
It’s 2018 and I’m still watching this. True country music.
It’s 2021 and I’m still watching!!
Definitely playing this at my wedding.
The fact that George Jones shows up on a riding lawnmower brings the quality of this video up to a million
George Jones had a house not far from me here in Bama. He was as rowdy IRL as advertised.
Well how else was he gonna get there, with Tammy done throwed all the car keys into the back lot?
@@professornuke7562 Yep. After George lost his driver's license, following something like his SIXTH DWI in a row...
Within the limitations of “HEE-HAW”.
Man how I miss these days. Jr. Blasting on the stereo and partying all night. I had SO MANY GOOD TIMES AND THEY WILL ALWAYS BE GREAT MEMORIES !!! 🍺 🍺 🍺
There is not one song BETTER then this one to take me straight back to being a kid, mixing drinks for my mom an dads friends and running around the big ass bonfire in the back yard. My dad'd put the speakers in the kitchen window, facing the back yard and,it was on!!! BEST CHILDHOOD EVER!!!
Nice comment.
How are you Rachel J?
don't get any better than that
Yep his pappy would of been proud and probably first to tap that beer.
awesome comment pie face
Thank you for the endless support and your nice comments. I sincerely appreciate you. It is an honor to have you as a fan. Thank you for the support and love ♥️

This is the coolest all time video cmt or mtv hank knows how to throw a party
Now we are talking.....always heard Hank knew how to party...heard back in the day he loved the opry house in Walnut Grove in Spartanburg years ago.... good ole southern boy who never forgot his roots
It's time for MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
gatorprincess8 hell yeah abc Monday night football
gatorprincess8 No shit!
Back when the L in NFL didn't stand for "Liberal"
GET SOME BREWS GET SOME BUDS THERES GONNA BE A FIGHT
It's good to see all of those legends from my youth in one video.
I don't think there was a choreographed video taking place here. Hank Jr. just invited a few close friends over and a camera crew happened to stop by.
Hes so cool. Just a hardcore bad ass that knows how to have fun.
RIP Jr, George, Jim V, Grandpa, Waylon and Kilgore.
Winston Tucker been more in one years pass partner
Rip Jim Varney (1:17)
Porter has died since then. So has Little Jimmy Dickens. I'll have to watch the video to see if that's all. Add Mel Tillis to the list.
Seen him at 16, Legend Valley in Ohio. My life was never the same!
Brian C it's Monday night football
Legend Valley, the early years were amazing.
who watchin in 2019???
Still getting Rowdy in 2020.... AND BEYOND !!!!!
2020, here!
This video makes me laugh. I love it!
Hell this song will never die
That scene where his father is driving the cadillac and waving at Hank jr and the crowd, looks like Sr. is giving his approval to his son's music!
Awesome song. Who agrees?
heck yeah
i agree god help me i love hank williams j.r and it sounds like the theme to a.b.c,s monday night football
I saw Hank Jr. in June 1982. Great entertainer. Yes, this song became the MNF theme song and made him lots of $$$$$
TheVideoGamer64 I agree!!
I would rather party and drink with kid rock.
Love Love Love this song real country music!!!! The good stuff!!!
God bless the 1980's. So sad how far we've fallen since then!
