She first hides in a closet, where Michael breaks through, but Laurie manages to stab him with a coat hanger and escape. One of the most iconic films of all time
This is the greatest chase scene in horror movie history. It's perfect.
Recently I’ve been getting Halloween recommendations, specifically this chase scene. I can honestly I watch this movie SOOO many times since I was child and this scene will never get old to me!
In scary movies people always have trouble opening doors, starting vehicles, running without falling, and getting away from the bad guy who never seems to have to run to catch up with the victim.😂😂
😂😂😂
This is my absolute favorite movie of all time. This move is even set apart from the copy cat classics that came out after it like Friday the 13th. First of all the acting was phenomenal in this movie. Everything is absolutely believable and realistic, and in this chase scene Jamie Lee does a fantastic job at conveying fear! She is running and screaming for help and the viewer actually can see and feel her terror. She is terrified and she does a wonderful acting in this scene. You also really get to know the characters in this film. They aren’t just set up to be killed off like in some other horror films. You actually care about the characters in Halloween. Finally, this movie is not bloody or gory it is actually scary! The suspense is so tense at times and the jump scares truly get me every time. Watching this movie is like experiencing a haunted house. I truly reacted to this movie the first time I watched it. I was on the edge of my seat at times, other times I was hiding under the blanket waiting for something to jump out, and the rest of the time I was actually jumping out of my skin. Terrific movie! If you are actually looking to get scared I highly recommend this. I am 34 years old and I have watched thousands of horror movies over the years, but not one has compared to this movie in my eyes. It is truly one of a kind and stands out amongst the others.
2:09 the way Michael walks through that corner and down the hall like that is so cool
