    What do you expect from a woman who is 70 years old,yes she didn’t hit some of those notes the band - music not as crisp as it once was but Neil is up in years as well plus the music had to be altered to fit Pat’s voice because she is not unable to do what she once was still a killer tune and still delivered with the same passion as ever !! Thank You Pat and Nick !!

    • @readwrite769
      @readwrite769  Рік тому +6

      I’ve seen her a couple of times and she performed the night before, so her voice was little bit hoarse. She also said on a question and answer before the show that she could still hit some of the higher notes but she changes the range, so she could perform the whole night, otherwise she might blow out her voice early on the concert. That is why she saves the harder songs for the end!! Check out my channel for some other songs and you can see how she changes the scale. I like the tiny bit of hoarseness this might because it gave her that edgy Rock n Roll sound and I fully agree with you. Either way Pat and Spyder Rock!!🎉🎉

      I haven’t been there in while and heard that parking was bad, but had no problem. They didn’t advertise that much and we got lucky buying tickets early. @@readwrite769Yes, she has a 4.5 octave range and has come a long way from a bank teller in the 1970s. She is classically trained in opera. Pat Benatar had huge chart hits from 1979 through 1985, especially. She and Neil Giraldo have been married since early 1982, over 41 years. They have two grown daughters together. @@readwrite769 That must have been a spectacular experience to have been able to attend Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo in concert. Pat has a memoir book from 2010 in hardcover and from 2011 in paperback released that I have recently purchased later than what should have been.
      As far as awards, I know they have been awarded Grammys over the years, but I think that they should get the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award if the have not already and the Kennedy Center Honors, which itself they should have been awarded many years ago, in my opinion.
      They are true icons in the entertainment industry since at least 1979 and certainly the 1980s. They make up a major husband and wife team in the industry, a rarity that happens to be as well.🎶🎼🎵🙂😀😞🙂🙂
